"Hunk!" Keith's eyes lit up, if only for a moment at the sight of someone familiar. He let out a heavy sigh, placing his hands on the other's shoulders. "It's good to see you, man."

Keith squeaked, an involuntary reaction, really. "I'm alright," the sentiment was followed by a short, breathy laugh. "How've you been? I know I'm not really...a people person...but it feels like it's been forever."

"Hunk!" Keith's eyes lit up, if only for a moment at the sight of someone familiar. He let out a heavy sigh, placing his hands on the other's shoulders. "It's good to see you, man."

Keith sat down near Hunk, but well out of the way, crossing his legs and watching the other paladin work. He'd always had a fascination with mechanics, but could never get his head around it. He was a pilot and only a pilot.

"Would you mind taking a look at Red at some point? Nothing major, of course! Just wanna be sure it's in proper working order." He asked, casually, "I'm about as good with mechanics as Lance is at cooking."

"I'm here if you need an extra hand or something, y'just gotta walk me through what I'm doing," Keith laughed, a genuine sound radiating from somewhere deep in his chest. "And don't worry, I'll be sure Red's on her best behavior while you work."

"I want to go home, too, man..." Keith sympathized, he wanted nothing more than to sleep in his own bed. He let go of his shoulder, turning back to Red slightly.

"Let's get a move on, if we're quick, we might be able to do a little more, yeah? Chin up, man, you're doing really well and I'm proud of you."

"I'm coming back for you, then. Let me get these civilians off planet and I'll be back, okay?" Keith was resolute, matter of fact, and determined to help. He gave Hunk a nod and made his way up to Red's mouth.

"Hold em off for me, big guy, I'll see you soon."

Shiro laughed, knowing Hunk was going to decline. "Probably for the best, if we want it to be edible." He admitted, smile never fading. "Let me know if you need anything, okay? I'm more than happy to do ingredient runs."

Keith's eyes struggled to focus on Hunk, bleary and glassy. "I'm..." a heavy breath, "I'm okay." They braced himself on a wall, frowning at the pain that wracked through his body. "Just a scratch."
