i saw genderbent fanart of sakura and literally swooned. so indrew the two of them in boxing outfits and i thought, huh they lewk too good for it to not be acknowledged. i like to think their club likes using them to promote their club bc theyre literally the deadliest commercial duo cuz gawd…theyre tew fine. since im also in college and club rush happened a few months ago, i thought abt combining the two and having them promote it in their gear like half naked. saku is super shy and so having sakura do it with him gives him enough courage. i thought it was fitting that kakashi joined the photography club based on sukea lol and i just feel like it fits his observant personality. and whew, hes OBSERVING quite a bakery😏 everyones around the same age btw
The comic at the end i just felt the need to add. its a lil pattern in my posts here where i add smthn small or cute as an addon but it began like taking too long so i half assed the coloring. woobs….anyway enjoy my annual tumblr post🥹
hey guys… 🙂 its been…a while! i am a college student now 😝 its been years but i am still a devoted sakura fan. its crazy i started this piece a year or two ago and only got back to finishing it. part of the reason why was because i wanted to get back into my sakura fanfiction reading days 😢😢😭💯 those were the only times i enjoyed reading istg and im like, why dont i give my tumblr some love!
this is a #kagasakushisu gambler au😅😅 idk what possessed me to draw this ship BUT trust that it was probably some bombass fanfic. yay uchisaku!! hopefully the sakura community, and the naruto community in general, is still alive.🙏

Kishimoto was pretty consistent towards drawing Sakura’s confessions to Sasuke and Sasuke’s reaction to Sakura. Sakura always whining or snotting it up. He always paid a lot of attention to drawing Sasuke, apparently his favourite character to draw.
The thing to notice here is Sasuke’s body language towards Sakura every time she confesses to him. Always the same.
Sasuke’s stance is always the same. His back to Sakura, telling her off in very straight terms over his shoulder. His expression towards her is always openly insulting, with either a glare or smirk. This is typically the body language for casual dismissal and feeling completely unthreatened. Shown towards someone unimportant and insignificant.

It also happens when Kakashi is talking to him about Sakura’s confession, but Sasuke doesn’t give a flying fig about Kakashi either. Can’t even bother to turn back and acknowledge the sentiment of these highly emotionally charged words. And so :
But when it comes to Naruto… :

He would always acknowledge Naruto. No matter how overwhelmed, pissed off or angry he is, he would always listen to what Naruto has to say. He may not agree with Naruto, but he would make time. He would of course lie to himself that it doesn’t matter :

He wants to hear him out, no matter how much he might delude himself.
I keep hearing that Sasuke and Sakura’s dynamic was made to look bad in anime, but that in the manga they are pretty romantic.
Are they though? (Shakes head dejectedly..)
Anyway, Kishimoto knew what he was doing.
