hi !! wanted to say thank you for the asks you sent and i wanna know if you have any headcanons of your own, and/or whoever is your favorite?

Oh! Hello! Thank you for the ask! In fact, I do have a few headcanons! My favorite characters have to be Maxxx and Pump Quinn, so I’ll share some headcanons about them.

Maxxx can communicate with sign language, but his hands jerk a lot when doing so

Maxxx has sudden strokes because of how often his blood is cut off by his overdoses

Maxxx is a very awkwardly social person, and instead of trying to start a conversation, he uses physical contact to get attention. (Like poking, waving, pulling at someone’s hair/clothes, etc)

I feel like Maxxx is most comfortable around Death, and speaks to him the most, even though Death hardly understands what he says lol

Maxxx is a big collector, and likes to collect random trinkets and other items he finds around his department. He also accidentally steals things, since he thinks random things are just up for grabs if they’re left unattended (lol)

(Some projection here lol) He also isn’t good at recognizing verbal hints, and mistakes someone’s tone to mean something it doesn’t. His perception of people’s emotions is different, and doesn’t always understand what someone is trying to tell him.

Quinn time! Pump Quinn is a person who is happiest when they’re working, and will find many hobbies to fill up their time

Pump Quinn likes to crochet! They crocheted a small Death plush, which was supposed to be for Death, but they ended up never giving it to him (the plush is sitting somewhere in a drawer, and Quinn occasionally goes to look for it)

Quinn is a people pleaser, and always does their best to make sure everyone is happy before they are happy.

Pump Quinn’s form of love/friendship is gift giving! They love to give gifts to people they admire!

Maxxx’s backstory? Umm…not sure? The whole quantum theory thing is what I would go with, but I can’t expand much upon it (yet)

Either Grimes of Krank. Krank is a literal crab, he’d probably have a heart attack. Grimes wouldn’t appreciate being human, and would probably break some things out of frustration

My favorite character is Maxxx. His place…would be a mess, definitely. Like, he is completely organized by being disorganized. To the eyes of others, his area is a disaster, but Maxxx knows where everything is within the disaster. Her also has little objects that he collects everywhere, and has a big pile of different syringes and pills. And expired microwave ramen is littered around the place.

Absolutely! Thank you, by the way, I enjoyed making the art :]

Maxxx often falls asleep on Death’s shoulder, and stays sleeping either for a long while, or for a few minutes. Whenever this happens, Death stays completely still, to match how stiff Maxxx is and keep him from waking up

Death spends a lot of time with Maxxx teaching him verbal and nonverbal cues, so Maxxx can better understand how others communicate

Sometimes, Maxxx will leave pill bottles near Death’s office. He does this so Death will hopefully pick them up and go see him to return them

Maxxx is very clingy, and will sometimes hang onto Death’s arm, shoulder, etc, for hours at a time

Death often finds trinkets in Maxxx’s area that don’t belong to him, but whenever he tries to take them to return them to their rightful owner, Maxxx gets upset. It takes a while to convince Maxxx to say goodbye to the trinkets.

Whenever Death is extremely stressed, Maxxx will hug him from behind and put his head next to his. If Death isn’t in a hugging mood, Maxxx will simply pat Death on the head gently

• Maxxx comes up from behind Death multiple times a day

•Maxxx follows Death around sometimes

• Maxxx will randomly carry around Death, which is strange for everyone else to see

• Maxxx will steal Pump Quinn’s Death drawings

• Death makes Maxxx put the drawings back

Maxxx has a short attention span, and has trouble listening and understanding directions. He tries his best to pay attention to Pump Quinn whenever they are excited, even though it isn’t easy for him.

With help from Death, Maxxx stays away from some of the worse drugs; he wants to be there for Pump and Death whenever they need him

Sometimes, Maxxx struggles with his addictions, but is willing to let Death do anything he can to help

Maxxx uses his knowledge of drugs to help Death whenever he needs medication

Maxxx wants to give more of his time and attention to Pump Quinn, seeing how much Death cares about them, so he tries to learn about anything and everything Pump is interested in

Maxxx tries to set limits on the amount of drugs he consumes, using a chart that Death made for him (Pump Quinn decorated it with fun stickers and doodles :3)
