ย ย Now normally when someone knocked on the door to her van while she was asleep, she always tried to ready herself to be presentable to whatever stranger happened upon her; fix your hair, straighten your shoulders, you know- at least look like you haven't just rolled out of bed.
ย ย But he recognized that voice, and thus didn't bother with pointless mental preparations. Carlton was a friend, one of the only few Charlie had in this world. . .
