Was David Kenyon Webster Jewish? He never gave any clue in his book. But I found him in the “National Jewish Welfare Board”. It’s not someone else by the same name because 33 Millard Ave. Bronxiville NY was his family address. His grandfather (on his mother’s side) was Josiah Kingsley Ohl. Is “Josiah” a Jewish name?

however, the real joe liebgott was ashamed of his time at war. he hid it from his family and his children only found out when they watched band of brothers.
i genuinely hope hes resting well. he never visited other members of easy, they tracked him down multiple times but he denied their requests to go to the reunions. i can’t imagine how lonely he was.
Joseph Liebgott’s portrayal and appearance in BoB series looks very boyish but in historical fact he was born in 1915 and is older than Winters, who was born in 1918.
