i think the reason I like yuu, the character, the one shown in the game, is because they give form to this indescribable melancholy in my stomach. i get homesick very easy, struggling to sleep in beds that arent my own, eating food not made by those i know or made by me, and other things you don’t get when not at home. when im at home, i still feel that feeling of ‘i want to go home.’ i dont know why. it lingers and lingers, and yuu is in a constant state of homesickness. it’s so nice really to see that feeling almost personified.

Would anyone on here be interested in my HTTYD the nine realms AU/rewrite where it doesn’t take place in the modern day anymore but instead the kids (plus maybe a few other- big maybe!) are just the next generation/children to the original dragon riders + plus some the RTTE tv show characters? Nothing too serious but something fun to talk and think about lol, just wanna see if anyone would be interested in that before I do anything with it just yet so yah

yeah! that’s what i think which is why i made the post where they’re both at home the night before zero day. i just know some people who think the final words was the night before zero day so i made it clear in my tags!! the whole timeline from prom to zero day is a bit muddy so i just wanted to make sure everyone understood!
