Getting married is something Jaehyun doesn't take lightly. If he decides he is getting married, it's because he gave a lot of thought on it.

It was a big decision for him, especially because it involved your happiness, because it involved you. And also because it involved you, he was completely sure he wanted to do it.

He was pretty relaxed at your wedding day, but when you exchanged rings, he looked at you, shining bright in front of him, and he realized the real meaning of the ceremony. Your bond was already strong, but he could feel it getting even more solid and sturdy. You were officially a family, and this thought hit him unexpectedly hard.

Making things short, he wasn't expecting crying, but that's exactly what he did.

Jaehyun is that super chill husband, that doesn't express his feelings in super extravagant manners, but that watches over you and takes care of you in a subtle way.

He may not say "I love you" out loud for everyone to hear, but he says it in your ear as many times as you want, and he means it everytime. He may not be always hugging you or squeezing you, but his hands is always comfortably holding yours. He may not buy you the most expensive jewelry, but he buys you that warm scarf on your favorite color for you to go out on cold days.

He may be a little bit shy at expressing his love to you, but he is certainly not shy at all when he is bragging about you to others. Everyone envies him, because he seems the luckiest person in the world.

Sometimes he does pull some nice romantic surprises for you. He likes to plan mini events, some nice dinners, something special involving things and places that are important for the two of you.

He always asks about your day, and he is such a great listener. Also, he gives great feedback, and life gets much lighter after talking to him.

Throughout the day, he sends you pictures of everything he finds interesting. A cute dog? Picture. A burguer shaped cloud? Picture. Doyoung and Haechan fighting? Picture (or even a video, If he manages to sneakily capture one)

You two are actually a really dynamic pair. You can act like children, running around the house while laughing, eating snacks all day long, playing rock paper scissors to decide who will do the dishes. Then like a very old couple, complaining about the weather, giving massages to each other because your back hurt, taking quick naps after lunch. Then like a couple in honeymoon, all lovey dovey, cuddling, snuggling and shamelesly sending flying kisses to each other.

You have some sort of telepathy. When you have to go to some social gathering or event, you have a whole conversation just with stares. "Do you want to leave?", his eyes ask you. "Yes, please!!", you respond with a blink.

He likes to take you to random night walks. Walking by the river, playing a basketball match in an empty court, buying drinks at some convenience store are things you like to do together, to relax a bit.

Also, movie nights and series marathons are frequent. You two can be the biggest nerds. You watch an entire series in one night and can't stop talking about it until you get to watch something else.

And while watching things together, it doesn't matter if you have a giant couch available for five people to sit comfortably. He always insists for you to sit on his lap so he can have you closer while you feed him popcorn.

Jaehyun likes wine, and sometimes he drinks a little. And tipsy Jaehyun is the cutest thing ever. The tip of his ears and nose get red, and he can't stop smiling and touching his face, saying it's hot. And then he touches your face and says you're the most beautiful person on Earth. But then he says that he can't say you're the most beautiful person in the universe, because maybe some alien is even more beautiful than you. But then he says "Nevermind, you're definetely the most beautiful", and then proceeds to pass out from sleep.

He has a morning ritual. He wakes up, kisses you, he dozes off a little bit, kisses you again, prepares his coffee, goes wherever you are, kisses you, drinks his coffee and spaces out until he is finally fully awaken.

Your family just loves him. When you visit your family, you notice that the entire neighborhood somehow knows Jaehyun and cheerfully greets him. That's because your family bragged about him to everybody of the street. "Oh myy, he really looks like a prince!!", random people say, admiring your husband.

Your house is simple, and it's incredible how it has a sophisticated and cool look, but also is so cozy and inviting.

There's always some nice groove music playing at your house, and it's commom finding you two slow dancing in the middle of the kitchen.

He tries his best to help in the kitchen, but it's better let the fragile cups and plates away from him. He is not that delicate, he once literally broke a bow just by placing it into the table.

Jaehyun is someone who hates conflicts, so you don't fight easily. But when he gets in a bad mood, he becomes very quiet and avoidant, and maybe overthinks things. In most of the times, you are the one who starts a conversation so you can solve things. It doesn't take much for him to break his shell though, and start spitting his thoughts. Things always end up well, with an honest "I love you".

Overall, Jaehyun is a husband who sincerely values the connection and intimacy of your marriage. He tries his best to be the best for you. Life is interesting and easy with him, because you two can be yourselves with each other.

husband!jaehyun listens intently as you explain why you don’t want children. it’s a conversation you knew had to happen sooner or later, but it still stings to see something in jaehyun’s eyes flicker out. you apologize, feeling slightly guilty. jaehyun shakes his head and tells you you shouldn’t be sorry; it’s your body and he supports whatever you choose to do with it. he kisses your forehead with a smile that carves dimples into his cheeks.

you were wrong when you thought you couldn’t love him any more than you already did.
