World Setting

Buster Bros!!!: Basketball Club Ikebukuro Divison’s MC representative team. A unit comprised of the Yamada brothers Ichiro, Jiro, and Saburo. Their image color is red.

Chuuoku (central sovereign district): A male-free administrative district where females runs the country. Bill H was proposed and passed here.

Fling Posse: Shibuya Division’s MC representative team. A unit comprised of Amemura Ramuda, Yumeno Gentaro, and Arisugawa Dice. Their image color is yellow.

Bill H: A bill that bans physical (conventional) wars. Production of all weapons are prohibited, existing weapons are ordered to be disposed. Because of this bill, men started fighting with their own “voices” and mics instead of guns.

I peeled back my eyes to reveal the time I dreaded ever since I took on the job of a payable clerk.

"Get up [f/n] you got work today!" You mentally prepared yourself. Like always.

Finally disconnecting from your one true love, your bed; to shower and put on some appropriate clothes for work.

Without a moments gaze you swiftly skipped over breakfast. Walking out the door with nothing but yourself and, of course, your office bag, which held all the essentials like: your phone, headphones, apartment key etc.

"If I get to the office early I can get some peace and quiet to assort the expenses all while being able to stop for coffee." You quietly mumbled to yourself, planning out your morning.

"I do have time to stop for coffee!" Your legs contradicted your time as you began pushing the small store door open. Breathing in the scent of fresh coffee beans before stepping to the counter to order.

"May I have one espresso please". You politely asked the nearest barista.

The brunette nodded and walked away from the counter to make the order.

"That will be 200¥." The barista pleaded.

You handed the young worker the money before walking out the door constantly checking your watch.

“I’m gonna be late I’m gonna be late….”

Finally boarding the train with your coffee securely in hand you heaved out a sigh. "Just in time."

Not many people were on the train so you decided to sit down next to a red headed man. He was dressed in a black suit and striped shirt. He looked way more tired than you could ever be.

"Um excuse me sir". You poked him a bit in an attempt to grab his attention while not being rude.

He peeled his eyes open to look at you before noticing you gesturing towards the warm beverage you strained yourself over getting.

The redhead smiled a bit before accepting the drink with a small bow of his head.

"Thank you very much." He said sipping on it without a second thought of your intentions or lack there of.

As much as it pained you to give away all the energy you bought for the long day at the office it made you happy that you got to see someone else happy.

"My name is [l/n] [f/n] what's yours?" You said trying to make small talk on the train ride.

He peered from the coffee to respond with his name "Kannonzaka Doppo."

"I like your name though I think I heard it somewhere y'know like those famous rap battles but that's just a guess."

"Mn where did you get this?" He questioned skillfully avoiding the topic.

"Ah that small cafe a couple blocks away from the station it's called Eunoi Cafè."

Just then the train stopped signaling for you to get off and head to work. "This is my stop Doppo" You nudged him.

"Oh me too." He stood up.

"How convenient let's go!" You pulled him along with yourself out of the train.

The two of you walked together with a constant exchange of questioning looks at each other. Since he's been going the same way as your office.

"Weird question but you don’t happen to work at an office do you? Specifically [insert company name] inc?"

"Yeah I was heading there why?" He looked at you before processing that fully.

"Wow we work at the same place and take the same train you can be my morning friend Doppo-mine!" You perked up lively.

"Ah please don't call me that but I guess" He said recalling memories of that nickname.

"Damn, sorry. Anyways let's go we're early so quiet office before everyone floods in." You scrunched your nose in disgust. Thinking of the packed office, yuck.

He followed you willingly into the building.

"I'm on the bottom finance floor what about you?"

"Ah I'm towards the top with data sheets, marketing and such." He said with an even more gloomy than usual tone.

"It's alright I'll come see you after work and we can go to the cafe. I know how stressful this job can get." You exchanged information with him.

"That sounds nice thank you [l/n]. He smiled.

"It's nothing, and you can call me by my first name y’know.”

“Really?”

“Yeah don’t worry about it, but for now let’s just enjoy our floors while they’re still quiet.”

“See you?” He awkwardly waved to you as the elevator doors closed. Forcefully ending your bonding time.

notes: hello! I thought it could have been a cute idea to imagine who would the hypmic boys main, when and how they started playing it, plus a random little fact about them. well, enjoy :)

ICHIRO

main: Noelle! she's cute, and helps others. istantly added her to the waifu list and smiles everytime she blushes thinking "aww, adorable."

when and how: started playing because Saburo asked him to. at first a casual player, soon it became a huge obsession.

another fact: sometimes he listen to his characters' voice lines just for fun, and he has memorised most of them (yes, he says them out loud too).

JIRO

main: Xinyan! she's cool and loud, also guitar buddies>>

when and how: downloaded it just because he didn't want to feel left out, and because Ichiro likes it.

another fact: he's a bit envious of Saburo because the only five star he got is Qiqi, and he doesn't like her.

SABURO

main: Xiao. he's a loner, and a cool one! he just HAD to main him. 

when and how: started playing after he found some good gameplays while scrolling through youtube.

another fact: flexes his five star man to Jiro everytime he finds the chance to.

SAMATOKI

main: Diluc. he's like (ī_ī) all the time, and the fact that he's a pyro character made him gain 10 bonus points.

when and how: like for the virtual reality thing, he had a big argument with Jyuto and decided to settle it by playing. didn't expect to actually enjoy it.

another fact: the first time he lost the ascension quest he almost smashed his phone. that day, all his underlings felt unsafer than usual.

JYUTO

main: Kaeya. he likes his style and his tits.

when and how: same goes for him, ended up quite liking this game, even if he doesn't care about the plot and all.

another fact: he finds hilarious that Kaeya and Diluc kinda have a similar relationship as his and Samatoki's.

RIO

main: Xiangling. well, they share the passion for cooking and the use of unique ingredients.

when and how: he just followed samatoki and jyuto, and even if he doesn't play it often, that five times he logged in, he had a good time.

another fact: he spends most of the time looking for ingredients and got sad once he found out that you can't cook frogs and bugs.

RAMUDA

main: Barbara. she's the idol of the game, he HAD to set her as main. also, he built a massive dps Barbara just for pure chaotic vibes (@yamapucci suggested it and omg it's so true-)

when and how: one of the ladies he hanged out with showed him this "game with cute characters". he started playing because he liked the outfits.

another fact: he can imitate all paimon's quotes, and he will imitate them, even if you beg him to shut up.

GENTARO

main: Xingqiu. Gentaro doesn't really care about who to main, but they give kind of similar vibes

when and how: played it once or twice on Ramuda's phone because the little gremlin asked him to and Gentaro accepted (mostly because otherwise Ramuda would have become even more annoying).

another fact: changes the character's name everytime he plays in co-op, and builds up whole different personas based on the names he choses. always confuses the people he plays with, and finds that amusing.

DICE

main: Ningguang. she's sexy, but most importantly, SHE HAS ✨MONEY✨

alternatively: Bennett. felt pity for him and his bad luck. however, when he pulls and doesn't find a five stars character, blames it all on him. (@yamapucci proposed it, and we created the hc together <3)

when and how: like for Gentaro, started playing because Ramuda asked him to. he always plays it on Ramuda's playstation since he doesn't have a personal device (obviously lost it by gambling).

another fact: due to the fact he has the habit of gambling even empty handed, he has -20800 primogems, and if he doesn't pay up soon his account will be suspended.

JAKURAI

main: Keqing. Finds her and her points of view about both humanity and Gods interesting.

when and how: one of his young patients enthusiastically explained him the game and asked him to try it too, so he accepted (Hifumi recommended it too). liked the story and ended up playing it sometimes.

another fact: usually co-ops with Ichiro, because he does know better about the game than him, so he asked for some advices.

HIFUMI

main: loooooooves using Venti, they are lowkey similar too!

when and how: like for Ramuda, one of the guest at the host club recommended it to him, so who was him to ignore her kitten's suggestion?

another fact: if he plays online while in host mode, expect tons of flirting in the chat, regardless of the gender identity.

DOPPO

main: Layla or Ganyu. man loves playing the tired mfs

when and how: Hifumi insisted, and when I say he insisted, I mean he asked him nonstop to download it too. eventually Doppo gave in.

another fact: strangely enough, he found Ganyu during one of his firsts 10 pulls. he's never seen a five star character again after that.

KUKO

main: ITTO, and his co-op experiences are chaotic as hell

when and how: tried it once, and then decided to convince everyone he knows to play it too.

another fact: made jyushi cry because since kuko is several ranks up, he teased him when, while in co-op, he "couldn't do shit" against regisvines.

JYUSHI

main: Fischl! she's on top of his kin list and talks about how cool she is all the time, got the purple seelie just to match her and finished the golden apple arcipelago quests in no time to get her new skin. bro's her #1 fan. they literally would be besties if they knew each other.

when and how: convinced by Kuko. seems happy to play it too tho.

another fact: jumped of a cliff and his 「beautiful queen of darkness」 died. guess what? yeah, he cried.

HITOYA

main: Yanfei. both talk nonstop about law and shit, plus she's brilliant. I swear, if he knew what it means he would probably think he kins her (no, he'll never say that out loud).

when and how: Kuko. a bit of Jyushi too, but mostly Kuko. this man needs a break.

another fact: he can't and won't type in the chat, so if you co-op with him, just know it will be a silent game.

SASARA

main: mf will either be the annoying childe main or the cyno main who tells the worst jokes ever in the chat, there's no in between. LOVES the confetti thing and uses it all the time.

when and how: he was at home alone, and since he hates the silence he picked some random videos on youtube. switching from one to another happened to hear the genshin advertisement and got curious.

another fact: sooner or later, in the end he always gets kicked out from co-op mode because he's too annoying.

ROSHO

main: i feel like he would be a Sucrose main.

when and how: Sasara sneaked into his apartment, unlocked his phone and full downloaded it for him, waiting for hours. he also left a sticky note saying sorry for finishing all of his puddings, since he ate them due to boredom.

another fact: can't doesn't play in co-op mode with strangers, because it makes him nervous and uncomfortable.

REI

main: Yae Miko, she's sexy and they have that same random flirtatious attitude that nobody asked for.

when and how: he found a way to make some business from that game swindling here and there, so he took the opportunity.

another fact: he has all the five stars characters, only God knows why and, most importantly, how.
