😂😂😂 it's not very accurate and is clearly focused on Jesus but it's funny and I love that we were tagged
I have no idea what Hermes is doing there (not saying he shouldn't be but I am definitely unfamiliar with the possible references)
And I don't know the other ones. But I can talk about Dionysus.
He was definitely not born of a virgin. His parents (Zeus and Semele) were in a relationship and having sex.
However he was born abnormally (Zeus vaporised Semele with his true form and then sewed fetus Dionysus to his leg to finish maturing).
Wandering miracle worker doesn't not make sense. He was a mortal demigod at first and later ascended not only to full godhood but to Olympus
Though afaik his wandering work was mostly wine and he wasn't really a miracle worker like Jesus. Magic was involved but not for good
Not necessarily for bad but like. Not for good. yk.
Crucified. I mean that's a specific way to die like getting hung or beheaded and I'm pretty sure that did Not happen to him. Or buried.
He has themes of death and rebirth (particularly from Orphism and other older versions) because of the death of his mother...
...and also because Hera had him torn apart and eaten by the gods but Athena saved his heart to be reborn again.
(Which is a completely separate origin story I believe as iirc Athena put the heart into Semele therefore she must have been alive during...
...and after Dionysus' full term).
In any sense if he was crucified or at all buried then we certainly aren't familiar with the story.
Also nothing about 'three days later' in particular or a simple straightforward ressurection that we know of either.
And he ascended to the heavens (Mount Olympus) when he became a full god and an Olympian but the concept of 'heaven' in Hellenism is vastly
different from the Abrahamic concept of Heaven. Even more different than Hades/The Underworld and Hell.
Still though I very much enjoy having been tagged. Thank you Phoenix /g /vpos
