Apo likes dressing up since he was young (from his early K-pop days inspired by Big Bang.) His daily inspiration is “gut feeling” but also making sure it’s appropriate to the occasion

Wherever Apo travels, he checks perfumes prices. He likes niche scents. His skin is allergic so he never used them but he just found out the perfume that suits him.
Apo talking about “There’s nothing perseverance cannot win”. At 25, when he had been in the Thai industry for some time, he thought there was something else he could do, if not in Thailand, then abroad. His old company prioritized appearance, which is something that doesn’t sit well with Apo. So he decided to move permanently in the states (sold everything). His plan was to learn acting while learning language. He got the visa while everyone else at that time got rejected. At the visa interview, he said everything and the staff said “See you in a movie” ❤️ When in NY, he realized that he couldn’t do anything cause his ex-manager always did it for him, but he met good people that teached him. The cultural barrier is also difficult because Thai culture is non-confrontational and compromising, so Apo felt like he lacked skills, so he had to learn to fight for himself (the ‘buying the orange’ anecdote)

Sorry… I want to keep going but I’m crying a lot right now because of all of this. It’s kind of overwhelming looking back at it…. I’m proud of him honestly, I know that back then he was so focused on how he looked because he was really insecure, but compared to back then he has grown so much, and it makes me really proud. I hope he continues on his path for better health, it was worrisome back then, but all Jimin stans can rest easy now because Jimin is growing up to be a handsome confident man.
