Every autistic person I see on here says their autism made them funny and interesting ...
I'm the opposite. It made me boring and pedantic (also makes me come off as pretentious).

I know it's selfish of me to say this but
I wish all the advocacy and acceptance around autism by the ND community wasn't just pushing the idea of autistic people being fun and cool
like I get there's a lot of negative stereotypes depicting autists as boring / uninteresting and overly smart
but I feel like too much of it is now centered around more extroverted individuals who indulge in fiction and are compelling and funny
