My name is Eyad Sami.
I have been married to Amal Mahmoud for thirteen years, and we have four children: Sami, Mohammad, Sarah, and Saad. We are from Palestine, specifically the Gaza Strip, which has been under siege for over eighteen years.
Now, we no longer have a home, and my family lives in a refugee school in the Al-Zaytoun area of northern Gaza, while I live in a tent in Deir al-Balah. I haven't seen my children or my wife for over eight months. My children and wife are suffering from continuous bombing, lack of resources to live in peace, and a shortage of food and water. Here, I am enduring severe psychological and physical pressures due to my inability to be with them and meet their needs.
I ask anyone who reads my story to look upon us with compassion and help me raise even a small amount of money so that we can leave this country and find a safe place to live. We seek a country that offers us safety and a decent life, far from wars, genocide, and lack of security. We need shelter, food, water, education, and healthcare for me and my family.

I am so freaking happy I found this gem. This just brings out some strong emotions in me, but I’m not really sure what they are. They’re good though.
probably gifts, and acts of service to an extent maybe? idrk. it's difficult when it comes to my lover? idk what to gift them. they make so many tiny and cute stuff for me, ans yet i'm never able to think of what to make for them? i do like gift giving, but it's mostly buying it which might put them off so— but when it comes to my friends, i suck at words of affirmation the most i think. especially when they need comfort. tbh, words of affirmation and comfort (for both lover and friends) happens very randomly. like, the other day i'd seen this reel on instagram which was hella sad and i related to, but then i see mt partner's like on it- which mesnt they related to it, too, and thag broke my heart so bad i texted them a lot of comforting and affirming stuff without mentioning the reel. so it happens that way and never when someonr outright needs it at the moment. also i love plysical touch but only to a certain extent now because of how much i hate my body so uhhh. i'm not sure if any of this makes sense but yeah😭😭😭
By which I mean, which one do you naturally have the hardest time receiving, and do not usually think to give to others? Obviously, anyone can become fluent in any love language, but which would take the most work for you?
