damian wayne, son of bruce wayne and thalia al ghul. a trained killer and the perfect assassin. he’s ever-vigilant and lacks the usual playfulness associated with a child. there’s meaning in his movements and he does not tolerate non-sense.

but when he’s around his pets, his animals, his entire demeanor flips. damian’s usual glare softens, maybe he even lets out a rare laugh if titus has done something humorous like chew up grayson’s shoes. the glimmer of a child’s wonder finds its way back into damian’s eyes when he’s with his animals.

and bruce sees this, it’s a why, even after a giant red demon-beast, he allows damian to keep all these creatures. it’s one of the only times he gets to see his son truly happy.
