Ihnmaims Headcanons - Tumblr Posts

Here are some general AM headcanons because I have not been able to find any at all:

Machine AM:

- he wants to die

- simple as that, he just wants to shut off, and be done.

- his absolute fury doesn't allow him to do this, so instead he tortures 5 random people

- speaking of which, Ellen and Ted are his favorites

- he can't draw, and this frustrates him to no end

- sometimes, he'll try to remember what it was like before he had sentience

- being a war computer, he knows endless strategies and battle tactics to make the prisoners play out for his own amusement

- he hates Thursdays

- he'll sometimes fake a stutter to gaslight himself into thinking he's more human than he is

- whomp whomp

- he'll randomly turn all the speakers up, and scream. (Just to keep them on their toes)

- hasn't seen a sunset

Human AM:

- he just looks like Harlan Ellison (shut up, I know I'm basic)

- the first thing he did when he transported himself into a body was cry

- the sense of being- of actually living and experiencing senses was so overwhelming he truly couldn't do anything else

- his favorite color is blue

- he doesn't like sweet things

- he also doesn't like getting hurt- he relized this after tripping over a cord and falling into a pile of scrap metal

- he's got some pretty garbage handwriting. Think docotors hand writing but worse

- there are some things about him that are still robot-ish because there just isn't a way for him to be 100% human

- for example his eyes are cyan and pink, his veins are very similar to circuits and use a type of silvery fluid as stand-in blood

- he's a bit pudgy, don't make fun of him about it or he'll doom you to a fate worse than Ted's

- speaking of Ted, he's still here

- AM found out that he enjoys kicking Ted

- he likes bright colors and 70's music

So sorry I deleted this, there was a couple small details I had to fix but it’s all good now 👍👍

thoughts on what an early design of an A.M. android (amdroid) might have looked like 👍

Things I didn't list in the actual artwork:

-His hair is made of chunks of hair from the scientists who worked on him

-his nose is purely a design choice, he can't smell

-the two cords in his shoulder is his main source of power, but there is a small solar panel if need be

-he cannot taste

-he frequently falls into disrepair, the meaning is unknown

Ted headcanons becausse the animatic is taking five years:

- he's 29 years old when A.M. takes over

- I know his actual lore is that he came from a really poor family and stuff but I think it'd be more interesting if he was just a straight up nepotism child

- he corrects people's grammar mid conversation

- his whole thing with Ellen is just Stockholm Syndrome

- he and Gorrister have a really weird relationship, they're either laughing and being like: "women ☕️" or they're trying to kill eachother on sight

- Ted found A.M.'s control room once

- he forgot where it was though

- he's scared of thunder but tries to act like he's not

- I know this is canon, but this boy's paranoia is so so bad.

- he's been caught a couple times shaking in absolute terror because he's convinced the others are going to turn on him

- he knows how to do makeup

- he sees sex as a task/barganing tool rather than an intamate experience

- his favorite color used to be forest green, but now he hates all colors because one way or another it could be tied back to something A.M. did

- he sleeps curled up in a ball

- he's so horrible I cannot
