Andre and his dad are so interesting to me,,

Andre was definitely a mommas boy with a strained relationship with his dad, this is very clear in the scene at Andre’s work and in the car. I really don't think they spent much time together at all. Would he blame himself for that? Andre’s dad obviously wasn't the most outwardly affectionate father, however there's no doubt he loved his son more than anything.

I saw this on a different post, but Andre specifically mentions and sends a message to his mother during the suicide note. He tells her not to worry, and that this was not her fault. He says nothing about his dad, despite them having that somewhat "heartfelt" conversation right before. His dad obviously is not on his mind frequent enough to think of him.

(I feel very strongly that Cal did not want the people closest to him, especially his family, to know what his intentions were on May 1st. Another rant on that,,, later,,,, possibly :3)
