I love "ink under your skin" . That's not healthy I mean i think about this whole day you are amazing at writing I love it .

Hello! 🌸

I’m truly happy that my writing got into your heart 🥺 IUYS will get messy at some point, I think yn’s life isn’t that easy and Jungkook will realise that soon…

Sorry if i missed some of the detail but does oc ex-fiance cheated on her? Why does her parents still want her to be with her fiance ? Or you will reveal their back stories on next chapter?

Btw, i love your writing so much! Keep it up 👍🏻 and i’ll patiently waiting for your update 🥰

Hi! Thank you for your message 🤎

Unfortunately, I can't tell you - it's the whole point of the story, you would stop reading it if I revealed such details 😂 But! It's undeniable fact that yn has a tough past and trust issues. She put a wall between her and any romance that could linger in the air because of one stupid man... Touchy topic for her. Plus her parents aren't really subtle when it comes to her ex weeding plans. As much as they are supportive, they struggle to see the problem that was caused by her fiancé and they wish to see their daughter in a white dress one day... Preferably now 😬

I hope that my explanation made it a little bit clearer 😇

Have a nice week! Sending hugs 🧸

Hey you ,

Yes you..... ily (ik I am silly) but I just re-read "iuys" so I thought I should tell you 😃

Hi there! 🥰

No! You're absolutely not silly! How are you by the way? But really? You re-read it? I wish I could post next chapter right now for you so you could finally read more than just these two chapters 😭

Much love to you, love! ❤️

Hi! How are you? Hope you are doing great 🫶🏻

Not to pressure you, but may I ask when will you update next chapter for ink under your skin? And is there any smut scene (just asking) in this story?

Lots of love ❤️

Hi ❤️

I'm fine, thanks for asking! How about you?

Oh-, that's a hard question, really. I'm about to start my next year at the university and it might get prolonged, so sorry about that 😐

Smut scene? Well, are you just asking or you want one? 🤭 Because I may include it, I just don't know how people would react. There are so many stories with BTS that's based only on smut scenes that I think some of you may be fed up with that.

Personally, I'm searching for a good fanfic to read that has actual plot, fluff or angst but I can't find it. I don't know if it's just me or I'm just overreacting 😅 If you have something to recommend, tell me please!

And let me know if you want smut in IUYS 🤪

Hug ❤️

Hello there!

I’m sorry, I’ve been struggling to manage school work and writing at the same time but I haven’t abandoned my fanfics ❤️❤️ Be patient with me please! I will try to update I just don’t want to shower you with low quality chapters - it’s no fun for me and you guys 🥺 I really like writing stories and I don’t want to be dissatisfied with them.

Writing this on my way from work to school!

I hope you are doing great, stay healthy and be kind to yourself ❤️

Ink Under Your Skin Chapter 1 | Jungkook X Reader

summary: Getting yourself a tattoo of your ex-fiance's name wasn't the best idea, but getting it removed by the most talented tattoo artist was the best decision ever. And it feels like a brand new start for your love life.

note: officially new fanfic is out, enjoy your reading 🤍

trailer/masterlist | chapter 1 | next chapter

It was something nagging about knowing that an ink on your skin wasn't a part of you anymore. When you thought about it, there was always coming this aching feeling that this tattoo was left on your body without much more meaning. It got lost its significance few months ago while you were in the middle of searching for a free wedding hall which wasn't an easy task, but the point was it had to be removed in the same way as your fiancé got himself removed from your life - quickly and painfully. There were some things you regretted deeply from the bottom of your heart. For instance, that you turned down the offer from your cousin to travel to Italy or that you agreed to take the job you didn't like, but tattooing the name of your partner on your hip was definitely on the top of this list. Fun fact, you weren't even a fan of inks and needles, but you still had gained the courage to make an appointment to please your partner, which was foolish of you, you realized that. Too late, unfortunately. Now, you had to start from the beginning and let the artist do his work again pushing some needles into your skin, this time in a different studio.

Thankfully, the tattoo was small enough to cover it up so there was a chance that you wouldn't have to put up with stinging feeling for too long, but still you were being on pins and needles while waiting for your turn. You wanted to play with your ring from nervousness, but when you were about to touch it, you realized it wasn't there. For seven months already. You gulped down looking around the studio.

It has its climate and photos of it on their website couldn't compare with reality. One wall was covered with red bricks and some dark frames on it. When you looked at it closer, you noticed certificates and diplomas of different artist that were working here in the studio. You even found the name of tattooist who were supposed to take care of you today. Mina. It was pretty comforting that you managed to find a female one as you were too embarrassed to come here with your little but not so little problem to a man. Maybe it wouldn't make a bigger difference but right now to you, giving the circumstances, it certainly would. The furnitures and all the tools were black which made the room look very manly and even though it looked scantly, you liked it much.

When first ten minutes passed you thought that maybe they were still preparing all the tools, but when thirty minutes passed you thought that perhaps you had mistaken the dates so you took your phone from your bag and checked the mailbox once again. The address of the studio was correct, the date and the time also was exactly the same as the information on the note you had written and put on your fridge, so it was very confusing why you were still sitting in your chair. Something was definitely wrong.

“Sorry? Is somebody there?” you tried to call anyone out as the area that resembled reception was completely empty.

Almost straight away you heard a voice and you had to admit was really nice and soft to your ears.

"Im coming!"

Soon, a muscular man came out of the storeroom with packs of disposable gloves and bottles of disinfectant in his arms. Your body trembled a little feeling some tension forming inside of you seeing a guy with a lot of massive tattoos on his upper body which somehow fit his appearance. He had a little bit longer black hair that lied on his fair neck and a lot of earrings and a lip ring which managed to draw your attention the most in the first place. He was wearing all black, really fitted clothes. You observed him how he put away all the things into the cupboards that were locked by a key and how his muscles flexed when he raised his arms to originize the bottles. He was fine, really. Maybe not your type, but it didn’t prevent you from acknowledging the truth that the was handsome.

“That’s here… And we don’t have Mina’s shitty pink gloves anymore” he murmured to himself “She will burn this fucking place down if she founds out” your eyes wandered with his moves.

You never had a thing for guys with tattoos. To be frank, you preferred neatly dressed men with a tie under their necks and you often got teased for that. Your friends were making fun of you seeing your mouth watering at guys who had almost that daddy type of style, but your unconscious mind kept picking such dates thinking it would be a wise choice to spend the rest of your life with such man. And you stuck with this idea even to this day, even though you got tricked by that once.

„Sorry. I kept you waiting” he turned around after having said these words in a really casual manner as if he had done that before many times.

“No, no. Don’t worry uh-…”

“Jungkook” he turned towards you and looked straight into your eyes. He hung in that position for a moment which made you quite uncomfortable so you averted your gaze towards some documents laying on the desk “Sorry. How can I help you?” he must have noticed your strange body language.

You had become skittish like a deer lately. But nobody could judge you for that. You had a lot of things on your mind and some unfinished business concerning your life which you missed to wrap up, unfortunately.

“Well, I had an appointment at five…” you showed him your e-mail to confirm your words so he knew there was no misunderstanding from your side “Should have I called you before or…?”

His eyebrows frowned looking at his smartwatch. It was already half past five and Mina was still busy so he didn't really know why she wasn't preparing for another client. They trusted each other when it came to business matters so there was no need for supervision, but apparently he had to intervene in your matter.

“No, you shouldn’t have. I’m gonna get her for you” he said and then raised his voice “Mina!” he had taken a glance in your direction before taking some files to her stand "Your client is waiting".

"(Y/F/N)?" you heard a loud voice that echoed in a room "I had a feeling someone was here" you finally saw a female body coming out with a slight smile on her face.

“Yes, yes” you grabbed your things quickly from your chair in a waiting area you had forgotten to take with you “It’s me”.

The woman was still wearing disposable gloves in a pink colour and holding a big black notebook in her hands. Before approaching you she had thrown the gloves into the trash bin and reached for a new ones. It looked like it was your turn to let them play with your skin a bit, which felt exciting and stressful at the same time. You endured one hour laying on the couch but it was two years ago and you forgot the feeling so you weren’t sure what to expect this time.

“Here’s the thing…” Mina put away the notebook “And I will have to say sorry to you in advance” she gave you apologetic look.

Oh, you could have foreseen it. Another thing wouldn't go your way, you could just sensed it hearing the tone of her voice.

“I have a client still at back of the studio, we are having a break right now” she pointed with her head “It got completely prolonged. I’m sure I’ve sent you a message asking you if we could switch the hour, but I see it didn’t come to you”.

„Honestly, I haven’t checked” you scratched your arm “I saved only the confirmation of the appointment, so…” you sighed disappointed in yourself.

You could have checked before setting off, but you were too busy with all your moving out matters. You just assumed everything was perfectly fine as you had faith that from now one your life would go smoothly without obstacles. One good thing was that it wasn't a big deal to wait for your turn a little bit longer, just a case of reorganizing your day.

"How long it will take? I thought that maybe I could wait here" you asked hoping you would get a tattoo today as you had been anticipating appointment with Mina. You wanted to go to your bed without seeing this tattoo on your lower body.

"Well, the session will last another three hours. Do you think you could wait that long?" as if she already knew it wasn't possible for you to sit here for that amount of time.

"Three hours?" you formed your lips in a thin line knowing it was all doomed "I guess, we will really have to switch the dates".

"I'm really sorry".

"That's completely fine, it's my fault in the end" you managed to offer her a smile "So, when may I come again?"

Mina turned her head towards Jungkook who was drawing something on his pad while sipping on his warm dark coffee. She spotted his curious looks towards you which disturbed him from doing his projects for another clients that were supposed to came in during another week. To her liking, he agreed to help Yoongi with his work as he was falling behind because of his sick leave in previous week, though she didn't ask him to do it on his breaks, she felt grateful for such a workmate. Asking him to take her client could be an exaggeration, but Yoongi was already busy with his appointments and at the same time she didn't want you to go empty-handed.

"I don't know if you are keen on this idea, but..." she looked at him while he was focused on his job "Jungkook is on his break at the moment. He could take care of you this time, right Kook?" when he heard his name he immediately raised his head from his stand confused.

Definitely, he didn't seen it coming, neither you did.

Your eyes wandered from Mina to Jungkook and once again from Jungkook to Mina quite dumbfounded by her proposition. You already put so much effort to find a female artist who could make you a tattoo and now you may had to change the plans and let a guy do that. You felt an unpleasant feeling in your stomach telling you not to agree to the proposition. Your body gave you some signals and you didn't want to be the one to ignore them. Moreover, Mina's coworker was still drinking his coffee and he has noticeable bags under his eyes. He seemed like he didn't get enough sleep and in addition you saw how he was occupied with something on his pad.

"I'm not sure" you muttered hesitantly "I think I prefer an appointment with you if it's not a problem" you tried not to make an eye contact with Jungkook. You didn't wish to offend him for not agreeing to be his client, you just had your own reasons. Plus, it was his break and you didn't want to disturb him because of your mistake.

"Of course, it's not" she thrown her calendar on his desk "Check for free dates, please. I need to get back to my client".

"Right away, boss" he took a bite of his sandwich one last time and brushed his hands down before taking the calendar.

"I'm not your boss, Jeon. Yuck" she pretended as if she was disgusted with the idea which he laughed off "To another time, (Y/N)" she turned once again towards you waving with her hand.

"Bye" you smiled as your grip tightened on your bag.

It was complete silence in a studio apart from the noise of starting off the tattoo machine. You could hear shuffling sound of swivel chair and then Jungkook moving on it to the computer with Mina's calendar in his hand. His face lightened because of the illumination from the screen and it made his dark eyes even more standing out in compare with his fair skin. He had a pretty face, you would dare to say it was a combination of a baby in a manly cover which was endearing, in your opinion. His tattoos couldn't be counted as he had too many of them on his arms which formed almost in a dark sieve. And you kept staring at them curiously trying to analyze the meaning behind them till you heard his voice.

"Are you sure you don't want to get your tattoo today?" he attempted not to raise his gaze at you and kept it straight on the screen.

You must have admitted it was quite a surprise to hear this question from him. Your conclusion was that he happened to be a really passionate artist if he was eager to take a client during his break, but you didn't want to be the one to shorten his free time and break your boundaries.

"I don't want to take away your break" you smiled shyly tucking your hair behind your ear "I wish it to be over today, though" you hear him chuckling at your words.

"Is it your first tattoo?"

"No, actually it's not" you replied shaking your head "Still I'm afraid I will chicken out after first few seconds" you admitted reluctantly.

"So you are here for another shot. It can only be easier now" he assured you with a smile and brushed his black hair back clicking something in a computer.

"Doesn't matter first or fifth, it still sounds painfully" you made a visible grimace.

"You could be right" he nodded with amused expression on his face "I know I keep asking you, but maybe you should get it today. I'm not that scary, you know?" Jungkook looked at you with piercing gaze and with the corner's of his lips going a little bit up "I can be as delicate with needles as my mates. I can promise you that".

Was it a flirt or were you just hallucinating from the heat? Somehow you could tell, he could sense your nervousness and his little power in making you feel uncomfortable. You just didn't know whether it was positive feeling or not. Was it that obvious? You laughed nervously at him.

"I think I will stand my ground and resign from today" you bit your lower lip feeling your hands becoming sweaty.

"As you wish" he was leading with his pen on pages full of written hours and names of clients and he kept looking through the pages. Your eyebrows raised as he was already on October.

"Next month, seventeenth, the same hour?" he asked after having found an empty space in a calendar "Are you free on that day?"

It was another month you would have to wait and you weren't sure whether you managed to wait for that long. As much as you didn't want to prolong the process, you didn't want your tattooist to be a man either. Even so handsome one.

"It feels like waiting for an appointment to a dentist" you murmured to yourself, which made him laugh hard and your face became red because of his sudden reaction.

"Well, everything is booked. I can't help you with that unless you would make an appointment with me" he gave you a charming smile "My client resigned yesterday because he's going on a trip so I'm free tomorrow at twelve. No pressure, of course".

Was he trying to earn more money or help you out? You couldn't be sure which option was the right one, but it still kept you contemplating whether you should agree on his offer. Which want was stronger to you? The one in which you would get rid of this horrible tattoo or avoiding a man to give you another one? It was confusing.

"If there is no other option..." you got yourself lost in thought giving yourself a moment to ponder "Okay".

"Okay what?"

"I would want to make an appointment with you" you said more confidently this time "Tomorrow, at twelve".

"Well, it seemed like you decided for me already" Jungkook made a joke which made you abashed, but he quickly made up for that "Then, it's all settled. I only need your name and a phone number".

"It's (Y/F/N)" you tiptoed to see how he wrote it in his digital calendar and when he finished you gave him your number to type it next to your name.

"That's it. Just wear something loose for tomorrow and don't drink coffee yet" he reminded you with a gentle expression, but you knew that well as you had searched it on the internet plus from your experience "See you tomorrow, (Y/N)" he gave you another beaming smile which contradicted his edgy appearance.

"Bye" you said weakly coming out of the studio still weren't sure if your decision was a good one.

In fact, you were content that tomorrow evening you would be laying on your newly bought bed with no signs of your old tattoo on your hip, but with freshly made piece of art on your body. You couldn't be more happier, frankly speaking, though it didn't change the way you feel about failing to make an appointment with Mina. You saw her portfolio that she posted on her page and she was pretty talented and you liked very much that on every tattoo there was added a woman touch to it to make it even more feminine. Therefore, you were sure that there was no way she could mess it up. With Jungkook it was another story, you hadn't even checked his art before and looking at his tattoos, he must have had a different style, which was totally perfect and impressive, but you really strived for a feminine tattoo so you weren't certain if he could draw you one.

By the time you got back, the weather seemed to throw a tantrum as it started to rain heavily and it managed to catch you before you came to your apartment. Your clothes were damp, but at least you weren't soaked to the bones, so you just went for your towel and some dry, comfy clothes omitting all the boxes which you hadn't had the time to open up. Your flat was a total mess. You moved here a week ago and yet you still were in a fix not knowing how to manage all things that came with moving to the new apartment. It wasn't your first time, but right then you had a help of your fiancé which certainly made everything easier as he made sure everything was fine with documents and you were the one to organize your new home.

You searched for a hair-dryer in a box which had big letters written on it - "bathroom".

But you were handling it quite bravely and most of the things were in your control, at least that's what you were feeling. When you were about to turn on the device and dry your hair, you heard your phone buzzing on your coffee table. A groan escaped your lips as you had to stand up again to pick it up.

"Hallo? Who's that?" you missed to check who was calling you trying to untangle a cable.

"I was told that children forget their parents quickly, but I wasn't prepared for it happening so soon" you heard your mother's light-hearted voice, which you recognized right away.

"Don't be stupid, mom" you giggled and shook your head "You know I love you" you heard a deep sigh at the other site and a short laugh.

"I know, baby. How's your move going? Is everything alright?"

"Well, it could be better" you admitted looking at all the boxes with folded arms "But at least all the furniture is at its proper place. I have the place to sleep and the fridge is working so it's not that bad".

"Do you need any help? Maybe I with your father could..."

"There is no need, really" you cut in not wanting to strain your parents "I'm handling everything, it just takes time. Thank you for asking, though. So... How's going?".

You heard a loud silence in your phone.

"See, we got invited to a lovely dinner" your eyebrows snapped together as you hummed letting her know you were listening "To Han's".

"Excuse me?" your smile dropped after having heard what she said "You turned them down, right?"

"Well..." you waited for her to speak "Me and your father went to them out of politeness, of course".

"Mom, you shouldn't have gone to that dinner" you raised your voice "Out of respect for you daughter. Why did you even do that?" you couldn't believe what your ears made out.

"(Y/N), I'm sorry. We just met like normal people, we've known each other for some time" she rambled on trying to explain their behavior "I know that things between you and Yunho aren't the best, but..."

"Mom, please. Stop it right there" you rubbed your forehead trying to understand from where it was coming from, but somehow you couldn't think of responsible reason "There is nothing between me and this man, not anymore".

"We and his parents thought that maybe both of you could work this out. We could meet together with him and his family, just talk it though".

"How, mom? How?" your voice cracked from anger "How do you think it would look like?"

"Baby, please... I don't want to stress you out more, but..."

"No, mom!" you stopped her rapidly "Tell me, how? If this is what both families want, tell me how should we fix it" you demanded annoyed by their line of thoughts "I'm not naive, you and dad shouldn't be either".

"(Y/N), look. Your dress is still hanging in our room and you looked so beautiful in it. It would be such a waste of time if you turned him down. You love each other after all" you heard her voice softened at the thought of you in a white veil, but you couldn't care less.

"We both know it wasn't how everything went and we loved each other or even better I was the only one who was in love. I don't remember him showing me he cared when I was available to him for such a long time. And that was a big mistake, being too available for him in every single moment" you lost control over your words that you bashed out, but you managed to calm down your tone "If you really need to keep seeing them, it's not my business. I respect that, but please respect me and don't pull me into all of this. I need to go".

"(Y/N), wait".

"I'm not in the mood, sorry mom. Bye" you sighed and hang on not letting her speak.

The past seemed to still haunt you and you felt like you weren't given a chance to have a fresh start. In your friends' stories and movies everything was clear. The couple cut each other out, she starts anew and then she meets another guy with some obstacles on her way, but still everything is new. Your story was different as your parents seemed to be infatuated with Han's family and you couldn't blame them for that as your ex-fiancé's parents were really loving and helpful, but somehow they managed to give birth to such an asshole.

You were completely fed up with proposition of coming back to him which was often offered by your parents. You couldn't run away as everything reminded you of him so you just moved out and now you were living pretty near to your older sister and your friend. However, they still dared to call you with this shitty thing named marriage.

And that was too much for you to handle.

You knelled down on your fluffy carpet and pulled one box closer to yourself as you ditched the idea to dry you hair. Maybe it was high time to get your things out of the cartons.

"You were looking".

"No, I wasn't".

"Yes, you were" every word was emphasized by Mina who was cleaning her stand after their last client during the shift.

Jungkook shook his head quite annoyed with his workmate, but he sealed his lips not wanting to argue with pink-haired woman. He tightened his fingers on his digital pen giving his project the final touches to make them look even more outstanding, but he felt that something was missing. However, he couldn't tell what it was as Mina kept teasing him about their new client from today and he couldn't focus completely on his task. It might have been the truth that he took some glances at her, he couldn’t denied it as it was too obvious. However, it wasn’t a big deal that a pretty woman caught his attention. Especially when all women who came into their studio had already tattoos over all their bodies. She was an exception as her skin wasn’t touched that many times with colourful ink. Plus, she wore a cute sweater in beige and baby pink colour, black leggings and high white socks with trainers in the same colour while the rest of them were wearing all black. Just by looking at her, he could guess she must have had a boyfriend.

Too pretty to be single.

Somehow, it didn’t put him off.

"She agreed to make an appointment with me" he told her after switching off his pad as he decided to finish his job at home this time "For tomorrow".

"You stole my client, quite attractive one" she frowned her eyebrows and folded her arms on her chest "Congrats, then. I saw it coming" she scoffed playfully with a smile and continued checking if everything was prepared for another day of work "Just don't mess her tattoo".

"Funny, huh" he rolled his eyes taking a look at his planner to see what to expect from tomorrow's shift "Don't worry, I won't".

"Of course, he won't" Yoongi suddenly appeared with his file filled with new projects with a smirk on his face "He'll make sure of it”.

"Ah, right. He has a new inspiration from now. She became his muse" Mina played along and laughed at his joke knowing Jungkook must have been pissed.

"Fuck off, guys".

"But seriously, don't mess it" Mina's humorless voice draw his attention, but he didn't turn his head towards her "It's really important. Create something pretty".

Why it wouldn’t be? Every tattoo should have a meaning, therefore it must be important, he thought keeping his face straight. Apparently, Mina meant something deeper which he couldn’t come up with. It made him wonder what was the reason behind her saying that.

"Does she have any ideas in mind?" he asked touching his lips with a pen “Or she gave us free will”.

"Yeah, she does. Quite mundane ones. Nothing too crazy, but I see what she wanted to achieve" she grasped her phone and showed him your conversation "I can send you my texts with her".

"Yes, please" he leaned on his chair while swiveling on it "I might have made a bad decision, I don't have that much time to make a full project for her" he felt guilty for it.

"Don't worry, it's a small tattoo" Mina assured him while she was making screenshots "During the evening you could come up with hundreds ideas for it, believe me".

"And where does she want it?"

"On a hip, she needs to cover her old tattoo".

"Cover it? Why?" he hunched over the desk trying to take a look at Mina’s phone, but she took it away not allowing him to even glance at it.

"I can't tell you and I won’t sent you everything, of course. It’s too personal. Either you will guess it by yourself when you see it or she will just tell you".

"Huh?"

“Don’t make that stupid face” she shrugged her shoulders “It’s not working on me”.

“Fine” he murmured taking his sit and started thinking about what he could draw for you in his pad.

Ink Under Your Skin Chapter 3 | Jungkook X Reader

"Be careful with these, please" your heart dropped when you saw a box filled with plates and cutlery being almost thrown out of the vehicle.

You had tripped over your own legs while running down the stairs when you had heard a van pulling over in front of your apartment just to make sure the last delivery would go smoothly. And it wasn’t exactly how you would like it to go. Especially when you realized you had paid only for the transport without the option that could spare you dragging the boxes all the way to your apartment.

"They don't pay me enough to care" one of the men murmured when he passed you not even looking in your direction which nearly cause you to gasp at his audacity.

The sound of clashing made you want to bite your nails from all the nerves but instead you just folded your arms on your chest waiting patiently.

It was pretty lonely to have the whole apartment only to yourself. You grasped that soon during the first time in your new bedroom which was one of the topics you tended to bring up while discussing about everything and nothing with either your best friend or your sister. Being already in established relationship they didn’t understand your problem fully saying things like ‘it will only get better, the worst things are behind you’ or ‘now you can taste life anew’ or something you would prefer not to repeat in public ‘you’re free like a pigeon’. Whatever that means.

You appreciated the peace that came with being single. It was refreshing after a stagnant period of engagements and situationships, but in the end being locked alone in four obscure walls was likely to finish you off. It even managed to bring out the worst of your introvert traits quite quickly which was impressive regarding who you had been before life happened.

On the other hand you couldn’t understand the background of their jealousy.

You missed times when you could wake up next to a man whom you loved deeply, eat diner together after a challenging day at work which often happened to be a Monday and then complain about it knowing you were listened. They were simple things, maybe too plain for others’ liking, but somehow they managed to enrich your relationship at least at the beginning.

When realization that you couldn’t have that anymore came in, you had to learn to function once again. Your meals didn’t tase the same because you ate alone most of the time, way back home was senseless because nobody waited for you and your bed-shit became cold as nobody else was sharing it with you.

You slowly got used to it. Maybe sometimes jealousy ate you alive when you accidentally eavesdropped your sister who often got calls from her significant other with words of affection when they were in the middle of hanging out. Because, frankly speaking, it was a hard thing to experience when you were no longer bind with your fiancé. Especially when the wound was fresh and when they offered you apologetic looks.

So you started to repeat ‘watch out what you wish for’ quite often.

You grunted as you held heavy box in your arms trying to make your way to the front door of your staircase. The curse escaped your lips.

Independent woman era, huh? Who needs a man these days, right?

After having gained the balance, you tried to reach the doorknob by touching the front door with your left hand. Dragging them all the way to the third floor was a challenge, but you were willing to do that if it weren’t for something wet that was tickling your ankle.

Please, don't be a worm, don't be a worm.... It can't be a worm. This is fully paved neighborhood.

You lost focus and let the door shutting in front of your face. You groaned leaning your head back as you could pledge that something wet was still nudging your leg.

Why does my life suck? Give me a proper answer.

With your still restricted vision due to the box in your hands, you grasped it tighter as you looked down trying to navigate this disgusting thing.

Which happened not to be disgusting.

And definitely not a worm.

But a cute ball of fluff with a wagging tail.

"Where is your owner? You won't tell me, huh? What am I counting for?" you murmured to yourself while shoving the dog off. “I would pet you but as you can see my hands are full” you looked around hoping to find someone with a leash in their hands.

No living soul.

"I really don't have time for this... but I can't leave you here alone either, right?" you sighed "Who lets the dog walk alone on the street anyway? Your owner must be crazy" you added saltily not getting such an erratic behavior.

You had never had an animal in your life. Your parents didn’t allow it even when you brought home a small kitten just because it followed you for two meters but even if you didn’t have the chance to have the privilege to own one - it was kind of intuitive to get that it shouldn’t have been left alone.

It didn't take long before you heard somebody calling which made you almost roll your eyes.

"Rollo! Where are you?!"

There he goes. A responsible owner.

"Come here!” you shrugged your shoulders and came back to minding your business.

„Stop running off! I was worried sick-… (Y/N)?"

Wait, has he just said-….?

You automatically turned yourself hearing your name without considering this poor move twice.

"Oh, shit no!" you exclaimed with panic feeling the weight of porcelain and cutlery dragging you down with ease.

You waited for a clashing sound of catastrophe, but surprisingly it didn't came and in one second the box felt much lighter than it was before. Then you felt warm skin near to your hands and you realized that someone was also holding the cartoon with your belongings, but you still struggled to see who decided to lend you a helping hand as the box was still getting in your sight.

"You should be more careful" you almost scoffed at the reprimand.

"I advise you the same with your dog" you wanted to change the position of your hands and place them under the box so you could handle it by yourself still not knowing who had taken you aback. "As you can see I'm doing great. You can leave now, thanks for the-..." you wanted to snatched your belongings, but noticing slim, yet strong arms covered in familiar tattoos made you go silent.

"Oh".

It was Jungkook.

You could tell it by the way he laughed and by the way it made your body stiff.

At the simple thought about it your tattoo on your hip started to burn letting you know about its existence which you were so grateful for.

"It was the saddest 'oh' I've ever heard" a chuckle made out to your ears and then this heavy box was taken away from you which gave you a clear vision of who signed up for plaing the hero role. “Hi, by the way".

You weren't sure if his presence came as a nice surprise since you didn't suppose to have him here or he just managed to make you nervous. Actually, seeing your tattooist on the street in your case was comparable to seeing your gynecologist in the market or restaurant. There was a high chance they wouldn't even remember your face having too many patients, but you never knew. Jungkook did recognize you and it was awkward. He almost saw your ass, in the end. Plus, you rejected his offer that time. It gave you guilty chills when you got some flashbacks from that day with his smile that diminished after hearing your answer.

"Hi" you uttered and smiled sheepishly. "Let me get that" you hurried to remove the box from his grip to rush back into your apartment, but he didn't allow you.

"Easy, I can help you" Jungkook offered taking a step back. "It's not that heavy. Just tell me where we are going with it".

We?

"You sure?" you frowned again wanting to put him off this idea but a feeling of wet nose still touching and sniffing your bare skin made you lowered your gaze.

“That tickles”.

"Sorry, she is too much sometimes" he apologized, but your eyes softened as you kneeled down to scratch Rollo under the muzzle. “It’s my fault she ran at you”.

"I'm fine. I mean, it's not okay to let your dog ran away like that" you tucked your hair behind your ear as it got into your eyes. "But don't worry, I guess".

"It’s her way of saying hellp" he observed you interacting with his pet worrying it might have somehow disturbed you "Oh, right. Of course, you would do that, huh?" he scoffed amused seeing his dog laying on his back and showing you her belly with her tongue out."It happens when you give her even the smallest amount of attention. She goes all for it. I hope you don't mind".

"Not at all. She is the cutest" you chuckled with your hand still in Luna's coat and looked up towards Jungkook "Attention-seeker, though".

"Yes, she loves scratches" he shook his head defeated.

"I wouldn't expect to meet you here" you blurted out trying to lead the conversation without coming out as impolite and brushed dogs yellowish hair off from your black pants while standing up.

"Right, we wandered away too far. She dragged me here, to be honest" Jungkook smiled as he caught Luna wagging her tail. "They serve pappuccino not that far from here".

"I see" you nodded with similar expression and patted her head. "Put that down, don't strain yourself" you said kind of uncomfortable with him still holding your things.

"That's fine. I told you I wanted to help" he shrugged his shoulders. "I don't want to come as imposing or something, just-...".

"No, no" you grunted and thought for a moment. "Don't you have to go to work, though?" you inquired reaching for another box laying on the pavement.

"I have second shift today so I still have some time" Jungkook assured and opened the door for you with one hand. "After you".

You pursed your lips knowing you were trapped in his presence.

"Thank you" you went into the staircase and started to climb the stairs with Luna overtaking you. "I live on the third floor".

"Mhm" you heard his steps after yours feeling his gaze at your back.

This visit was certainly not planned and I don’t even know if it’s wanted right now.

"Uh-... Do you want to come in?" you asked when you stepped on the second floor sensing you would have no other option.

"Yeah, sure" he smiled slightly hearing your invitation and when you reached the third floor you opened the door still with hesitation on you mind.

Fuck.

"Are you sure she can come? Her paws may be dirty, it rained yesterday" he stated dragging you away from your thoughts while he hanged on before the entrance of your apartment.

"Even if… There’s a chaos inside so it doesn’t bother me" you opened pushing the doorknob with your elbow. “Don’t be surprised, you know, about the mess. I’ve recently moved in” you put the boxes in the corridor while Jungkook still had uncertain expression on his face.

"You've just moved in?" he paraphrased you looking at the cluttered space.

"Mhm" you nodded with avoidance. "Luckily, I'm almost done".

"How come?"

"Just like that" you shrugged your shoulders indifferently.

"And you're from..." he halted watching you kicking the box with your feet to make space for you to go through the corridor.

"Seoul".

He laughed and put the box on the top of the other ones.

"What?"

"You want to tell me you've just moved from one end of Seoul to another without any reason" a smile didn't erase from his face. "Just like that?"

"Well, can't I?" you didn’t honor him with even a glimps. "Needed fresh environment" this time your voice faltered.

"Right, we all need a small change at some point" he murmured not knowing how to carry the conversation and put the box on the top of the other ones.

"Let me tell you, it wasn't little" you had mumbled before you could bite your tongue, fortunately he couldn't made out that part.

"Do you like it here?" he kept inquiring. "Seoul is pretty crowded unless you like getting stuck in traffic jams. Why didn't you move somewhere else?"

Such questions didn't trigger you, but today it was kind of unusual. You got too many things on your mind and your mom kept texting you as you were slow to reply her. To be honest, you were pretty pissed at her due to her going to that dinner with Han’s which was behind your head since she committed.

Guilty.

And Jungkook was unfortunately within your rage reach.

"I know, I know. It sounds stupid, but it is how it is, okay?" you bursted. "Just don't ask more questions, please" you sighed angrily while putting away the box "unless you want to switch the positions. Maybe I should be the interviewer here. I just invited a stranger to my house, so wise of me" you huffed to yourself with sarcasm, but this time Jungkook was close enough to literally hear your annoyance.

"We are not strangers" he stated tranquilly.

"How did you came up with this idea?" you frowned.

"I tattooed you two days ago".

"So?"

"We know each other".

You blinked twice.

"No way you're seeing things that way" you gasped nad laughed it off flatly. "Of course, we don't. Do you always call new-met people your friends with such an ease?"

"I didn't say anything about being friends" he corrected you calmly. "But, you know my name and where I work. You got my number, my e-mail... " he tried to joke.

"Wow, that's relieving" you rolled your eyes with your arms folded on your chest.

He nodded as if he answered himself a question.

"I get it" he scratched his neck and look around himself. "Well, I've done my part" he pushed back a box that was near to your head with high chances of falling off and making a bruise on your forehead.

You starred at him agape wanting something to come out from your mouth, at least to say silly ‘thanks for help’, but you could utter nothing. You just watched him pursing his lips in uncomfortable silence.

"I'll see you around then. I guess".

"No, wait." you puffed up your cheeks seeing he was about to take a spin and walk out. "You're right I'm sorry. I'm just..." you rubbed your forehead trying to pick your words in one cohesive sentence. "I have some things on my mind lately, don't take it personally. Please".

“Sure”.

“If you still want to know…” you started thinking about his question.

It was fair to say your move out brought peace in your mind, yes. Nevertheless, you didn't love it. Actually, you couldn't stand that in a long run. You were used to be a social butterfly. You talked with strangers without obstacles, you kept a circle of friends being colossal and you liked going to parties or events. The moment he broke your trust, you lost yourself. It was a new situation you were trying to get accustomed to and it wasn't something easy as pie. But you had to like it. There was no way you could take your decisions back out of sudden.

You sighed.

"I'm getting used to it. This is new to me, I won’t lie" a forced smile appeared on your lips seeing his perplexed expression. "But I like it here. It can only get better, right?" you re-said his own words from the appointment which he noticed straight off. "Be my guest" you walked him to the living room with unbearable feeling Jungkook was watching you.

You wondered how much time had passed since you last had a man walking in your apartment.

You felt his gaze at your back.

Quite long time, maybe that's way your senses were stimulated much more than usual. You couldn't make up your mind whether you like his recognition or if it was rather agonizing and paralyzing. You could finally breathe comfortably when he broke the silence calling Rollo as she choose to wander around the flat without his supervision.

"Let him explore a little" you shrugged your shoulders as you didn't mind his dog sniffing your furnitures and plants "As long as she won't bite my monsteras, I've been growing them for years".

“Actually, its her” he corrected you which cause you to frown. “And I can’t promise you that”.

“Oh, sorry. Her name does sound kind of manly”.

“And you’re right” he nodded. “We just thought it’s a male so we called her Rollo until her first visit at the vet but the name stayed”.

“So you got a nice surprise” you smiled watching Rollo snooping around your place.

“Yeah” he stuck out his tongue a little to play with his lip ring while he looked into your eyes getting your full attention.

You gulped down unnoticeably. As you said earlier, he wasn't your type. He looked like some bad boy trying to get his hand under your dress, although his actions didn't represent such kind of person. He was so lovely there at the studio, he made you feel comfortable in your own skin even if you were so hesitant. Maybe you were just prejudiced which wasn't something you were proud of, but he looked like some kind of heartbreaker. The confidence, his tattoos and his rings he couldn't wore at work said it all. And this playful habit that made his tongue run through his lips to his silver piercing.

"What exactly are you doing here?" he took his long-sleeve shirt off leaving black t-shirt clung tightly to his chest. You were wondering whether his shirt was too small for him or maybe he just had too many muscle gains.

"Depends on what does your question mean?" you almost asked rather than making up an answer, you took some time to ponder how to reply "I've been living here for some time, not that long though. And I'm searching for work currently. Someone has to pay for it, right? Uh-... I just don't know how to answer your question to be honest".

Jungkook nodded placing his hand on his massive thigh not wanting to press any further.

"You're really handling it well. I mean, you were about to drag all of this by yourself. That's quite bold taking into account you live on the third floor" he chuckled which caused an honest smile on your face.

"Well, there is no other person to do that for me so..." you relaxed a bit thankful you didn't have to elaborate more. "I'll take your words as a compliment if you don't mind".

“Really?”

"I mean I could call my sister, but I didn't want to snap her out of her work" you twisted in your sit feeling you overshared. "Maybe I will make us something to drink and then we could talk" your words evaporated quickly as you stood up from the couch. "Tea?"

"If it's not a problem" you nodded and vanished into the kitchen leaving him with Rollo, at least that was what Jungkook thought.

"Rollo, where are you? Come here" he called staying still in his sit in the living room being certain there was no need to stand up to find his dog as it almost always listened to his commands.

Of course, Rollo was able to behave as if she was a pet of some kind of demon. It still happened sometimes, but not as many times as it used to be. She used to pee on his furniture even if they just came back from the walk or she stole his dinner when he wasn't watching, but through their training it came out that she was just trying to get more attention from her owner. And Jungkook obviously took care of that even if he had to work overtime, which solved the problem.

"Oh shit".

So it was kind of shocking experience when she showed up in the kitchen with a bra in her mouth.

"Rollo, what the hell?" Jungkook hissed after he had gotten up and knelled in front of his dog.

"Open your mouth, now" he gulped down stressed seeing a vibrant red material hanging from her muzzle.

It was obviously yours, who else could it be? You live alone.

"Give it back" he moaned trying to gently open her snout but every time he tried to touch her head she just took some steps back so he wouldn't get the chance to save your bra. "Oh, please. Don't bring me down with you! She will think of me as some kind of pervert. This is what you want for your owner?" she just kept wagging her tail and growling playfully wanting to tug with him for fun.

"I know you understand me" he hold her not giving up. "You just clearly want me to be dead".

"Who wants you dead?" you came with two mugs in your hands with confused expression. "Jungkook?" you observed him and he just sealed his lips not knowing how to explain it. "Is this my..." you took a closer look at Luna not believing what she was chewing at.

Yep. That’s my bra.

"Rollo, spit it" he commanded firmly looking right at his dog. "Rollo!" last warning did its job. You exchange looks with Jungkook as your bra was laying on your wooden panels in its full glory. Well, maybe it would have been less shameful if it had been a simple, cozy one. But no, it had a lively red colour and was from almost fully transparent laced material.

"I..." Jungkook was going to explain, but you just bursted into laugh covering your mouth which startled him out. "It's just-... It's unbelievable how unlucky I am today. I mean it's getting worse and worse" your laughter transformed into muffled giggles. You speeded before Jungkook could say anything as you saw his face expression. "It's my fault. I haven't closed the drawers in my bedroom" you didn't even feel shame right now, this week was torture.

"I don't know what's gotten into her" he bite his lips looking at Rollo. “I’m sorry”.

You saw Jungkook taking your bra from the floor which made you moan in your head from uneasiness. He could feel with his hand the cup of your feeling its size.

"Where can I-...?"

"Uh, right" you mumbled inaudibly and you vanished making your way to the bathroom to throw your bra into the washing machine. At least it wasn't torn to small pieces.

You made cups of tea for both of you and went together back to the living room this time making sure Luna was within your sight.
