Thinking about that fanart with Inuyasha and Sesshomaru on a scooter (guess who's the one taking the wheel?) and their silly faces and they're not even wearing any modern au attire, just the og robes oh myyyyy god I can't
This part is soooooo much better in the manga. Moreover, Totosai says that if Inuyasha had drawn Tetsusaiga with the aim of killing Sesshomaru he would have destroyed the sword with his two hands for that would have meant that Inuyasha could not be the true master of Tetsusaiga.
Inuyasha indeed has a heart of gold and to think that he chose to be clement just as he was facing a hopeless situation, meanwhile getting his daily dose of "dirty half-demon" from his own brother... THAT surely is something.

not to defend a male character but hating inuyasha is just insane sorry. he was a traumatized teen struggling with massive amounts of survivor's guilt! he might not have handled things in the best way all the time, but then again, who could, after living through everything he did? they're all just traumatized kids doing their best! we can't lose sight of who the REAL villain is: sesshoumaru. i will not be taking any further questions.
