i was just watching 4x01 &ahh the contrast to later seasons dean and cas makes me smile. it's adorable. dean makes this angel of the lord mixtapes (well at least one we know of), they watch movies and eat pizza together, they make heart eyes at each other. it's just SO DAMN CUTE, mittens :DDD

I just rewatched the “I’m your Huckleberry”-scene with Dean and Cas (because reasons), and I noticed that Dean says “It’s good to have you back” right after their “bickering” and Dean’s show of annoyance.

And isn’t that just the cutest thing ever? That he expresses this gratitude towards Cas and his return, not after a fight or when Cas has done something ‘useful’, but after one of their “married-couple”-banter ❤️ I know this is obvious, but I still can’t talk about it enough.
