Halloween!!!!!!??!?!!!!!1!1! (I'm 1 hour early!!!) But please indulge in priest Iwa and demon Tooru!! You know how the usual trope for this kinda AU is a demon being summoned into the human world trying to flirt with the hot priest?? Well in this AU Haji is actually the one getting sent to hell and Tooru is pretty much protecting him from other demons who want to take revenge on humanity through Hajime (if that makes sense) Hdjsjs Hajime got sent to hell for a reason, he never tells Tooru directly (at least not until much later) Trigger warning (abuse) for the reason why Hajime got sent to hell!! Hajime was essentially raised in an orphanage ran by the church, the pastors and priests had a long running history of ill treating the orphans. Many endured abuse for a large part of their childhood. Hajime worked his way up the ranks, became a priest, and during the annual meetup in which all individuals of power gathered, Hajime essentially burned down the chapel they were congregated in. It took him months of preparation, and all of them wound up in hell essentially but I haven't thought about it beyond that fhsjhfjd But yes, that's Hajime's secret, Tooru's secret is that he's technically the king of hell, and eventually after they fall in love, Hajime rules as queen xjsndjjsjd

Thinking about an AU where Iwa and Oiks exist in my OC universe;; (the one with Jayce, Cassius, Mallory and Miles!!) Iwa would be a demon in this universe, and Oikawa an angel. This is suppose to be after a really long fight between the two of them, where neither wins After blood, sweat and tears, Tooru cracks, no longer able to carry out his orders to kill his best friend The battle ceases and they retreat together into the dying sun. - Please note this is an AU based of my original story!! I included some world building under the cut to give you a guys an idea about what it revolves around;; But Essentially, it's a story about how Angels have grown vain and have decided to "liberate" humanity. Demons have long coexisted among humans and are well integrated unlike angels;; It's meant to subvert the traditional trope!! In my story, for the most part, angels are "bad" and demons are "good", of course that's just generalisation,,, but yeah;; It's a story I really want to work on;; so to share it with you guys I thought I could introduce it to you guys through Oiiwa;;

Demon-borns are individuals who are demons by blood. Demon deviants possess a primal instinct known among the demon community as bloodlust. This instinct is only triggered in dire and perilous situations where individuals act on an uncontrollable rage that would not cease until the source of their anger is eradicated. The demonised are individuals who are made demons by either demon-borns or those who wield dark magic.

Demons are often seen as tormented souls who have fallen from the grace of god. People believe that demons are created based on the belief that it is easier to be ruled by hatred and greed than to live by morals that are typically associated with “good”. However, while this is the perception that angels and humans live with, in actuality, their nature and actions are shaped by their environment, experiences, much like the human spectrum of personalities.

The common misconception people have of demons is that they are inherently evil or bad. However, what distinguishes demons from angels are primarily their appearance and core magic.

Their powers thrive on negative energy, negative emotions/trauma the main driving force to their power. Regardless of tier, the more emotions welled up within a demon, the stronger they are.

Most demons fall within the tiers of A, B, C and D, with A being the strongest out of the four and D the weakest. However, there are also the S-class demons, which exist in 5 categories. The least powerful of the bunch is, well, S, second SS, third SSS, fourth 4S and the most powerful category, 5S.

The higher up the tier, the more markings/physical characteristics a demon would present. While there were exceptions, this was often the best indicator of a demon’s prowess. The stronger they got, they would often develop more physical characteristics displaying that power.

Unlike angels in this aspect, low-tier demons had the capacity to move up the tiers, however, it is rare for low-tiered demons to transcend into the S-class

This is the reason for the fluidity of Demon influence. They are not ruled by a monarchy like the angels but have an ever-changing hierarchy.

S-Class demons are often the product of pure-demon blood, for a low-tier demon to come close to becoming an S-class, one has to undergo severe psychological/physical trauma that often awakens the primal instinct that exists amongst S-class demons.

Again, that being said, there are always exceptions. Demonised-angels have higher-chance of becoming S-class demons due to their culmination of light magic. Their magic becomes tainted, while most of it gets turned into dark magic/energy, there have been cases in which it turns into a very rare form of mixed energy known as “Grey magic”.

Angels cannot be created unlike demons. Their supernatural and magical powers are based on the idea of purity, that the only way to become an angel is to be born pure and maintain that purity.

They are extremely particular about what they deem an angel and what they do not. Half-bloods for examples are referred to as anti-immaculates. While they may come from a lineage of angels and have angel blood running through their veins, they are not considered to be an angel.

When an angel becomes tainted, their wing feathers start to turn black and their halos start to dim. Angels who have their purity fully tainted do not have the typical golden haloes but rather black rings of darkness. They no longer radiate light, but rather the opposite, absorbing any light to amass that ring of nothingness.

People often believe that angels are inherently good, saviours and a sign of hope. However, the reality is that Angels have grown vain. The majority of the angel population believe that they are the rightful saviours of humanity and that any favour done is a reason to be indebted to them.

Unlike the supernatural powers of demons, their power is a culmination of magical light essence. Angels often drink the blood of other “angels” to revitalise their magic essence, which in turn mutates with their own and creates a stronger power. While there were other methods such as light pills or apples from the apple tree, pure angel blood was the most reliable way to grow one’s power.

This has been the reason for the royal family’s history of powerful angels. Feeding angels exist to fulfil this purpose and demand, while there is a minority of volunteers who offer up their blood in exchange for glowstones, most of their supply is taken from angels imprisoned for whatever apparent reason.

Removing their wings can cause a lot of complications since many nerves in the wings are connected to their spine. This is a common punishment method used to those who have been stripped of their role.

Essentially an AU about Iwa, a wandering witch, and Tooru, a former farmer who sold his soul to another witch in exchange for knowledge of the magical world?

(Kinda like Howl's moving castle but also not really?)

The two of them met when they were kids a long time ago. They were really close and made a promise to each other that if anything were to separate them they'd travel the world to find each other again. (Foolish promises of young love)

After years, Hajime meets Tooru again, Tooru, paying the price of having sold his soul, lost all his memories as well, he has no recollection of iwa whatsoever :(

But it's supposed to be an AU where they travel together as companions, gathering knowledge about the magic of the world, all if good and they have fun, possibly falling in love again along the way.

But then comes the painful reality, one would not last long without a soul, the further they progress in their journey the weaker Tooru becomes.

As a final act of love for Hajime's first and only love, he takes his own soul and gives it to Tooru, ending his own life in the process.

Tooru awakes with only the memories of Hajime left behind in his own head. The pain and guilt of having forgotten his first love.

It's almost like a dream sequence, Tooru living through each of Hajime's experiences till his death.

The last scene I envisioned was Tooru cradling Hajime's cold lifeless body in a field of dandelions, weeping over the fact he had never told Hajime "I love you."

Been in an angst-kinda mood because of school :( But I'm having so much fun with this artstyle??? Like I really really like it compared to my usual style with hard outlines and stuff;;; it's fun to paint like this!!! honestly it feels so liberating to just paint without thinking too much;;; I just go with the flow and don't have to constantly worry about colouring in lines and stuff dhhdxhndbfhdj

Redraw of an older Oiiwa piece :D The new one I did this year and the old one last year :D - Hopefully this counts as improvement!! I definitely think it's at least a little bit better than whatever the hell the old one was jdjsjdjs;; I'm not the happiest with it because I think I have so much to learn and so many things I can improve on but I'll work on it a step at a time ;;

But on a side note, I've been looking at a lot of Baroque paintings recently and I'm just ksksksk, super in love with the dramatic poses and intense lighting;; decided to try something inspired by that with Oiiwa :) - it's not the best because I didn't use pose refs so I'm sorry 😭😭

When you thought two of your good friends were fighting, trying to woo you as a joke, but you can't tell if it's a joke anymore - Basically the idea for those who are new to this AU is that it's a Haikyuu!! Minecraft SMP au;;; One of the running plotlines is Tooru and Kuroo trying to woo Hajime dhnfhsjd;; What starts out as a friendly rivalry for the sake of content actually blossoms into something perhaps more genuine 🤩🤩🤩 Kuroiwa is my favourite rarepair!!! Although I love Oiiwa, Kuroiwa has a special place in my heart 🥺

Some relationships are you, a human, with a human partner, and other are you, a human, and your 240cm tall monster bf, but that's okay - !! Iwa is monster-hunter royal blood. However he doesn't want to be heir to the monster hunter shit so he decided to run away the day before his coronation??

As a kid he would play with all the monster animals near the forest which is where he met his lizard familiar and llama ceb. The day he runs away he brings them with him??

The moment he ran away from his kingdom and title as prince he was immediately hunted down by hunters sent by his own family for dishonouring them the Iwaizumi name. Like he's straight up wanted??? ahhh

Somewhere along the way he meets Tooru and they probably wouldn't get along at the start

?? Like they meet at some weird beer house?? And Iwa obviously sticks out because he's human and humans aren't exactly super welcomed because of the history between monsters and humans. Iwa being oblivious to the monster world obviously doesn't realise why this four armed dude won't stop pestering him in spite of his attempts to keep a low profile.

Tooru had approached him because he was sure if he didn't step in, Iwa would have been killed

Iwa was initially extremely resistant to Tooru's "advances" until Tooru whispers into Iwa's ear that "I don't know if you realised but almost every monster in this beer house is staring at you with the intent to kill, so unless you want to leave this place alive, play along and let me get you out of here"

And Iwa just looks around the room and he realises that Tooru was right so he plays along and they try to leave but one of the monsters in the beer house walks up to them and asks Tooru to back off so they could kill Iwa, and Tooru is just like "no can do, he's a friend of mine" and the dude is just like "move." But Tooru is adamant much to the annoyance of the other. A fight kinda breaks out, but much to Iwa's surprise, Tooru managed to take all of them down with ease

As they go aside, Iwa just asks Tooru why doesn't he want to kill him like the rest of the monsters and Tooru is just 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷 Iwa apologises for causing such a big commotion and getting Tooru involved unnecessarily. Tooru says it's not a problem and Iwa not really having that much money on him, asks if he could return him in some other way? He offers a family heirloom at first but Tooru is just like "Not interested, although how about you let me tag along wherever you're headed?"

Iwa’s response is just "???" Tooru says "look, you aren't getting anywhere in these parts as a human, if I tag along, you won't have to worry too much about being killed and you returned the favour, it's a win win."

So that's how they kinda go off on their journey!!! Iwa actually learns a lot about monsters from Tooru who seemed much more knowledgeable than he looked (no offense to Tooru but that was Hajime’s genuine first impression) There were so many different types of monsters and Iwa was just?? So amazed and almost excited that there were so many things for him to learn and explore??

Like okay they had a bad first impression but he was kinda starting to like Tooru as a companion, listening to way Tooru told all those stories offered him a comfort that he never had back at home

Tooru did most of the talking honestly but Iwa was always intently listening and Tooru could tell he was intrigued and super attentive so he didn’t mind

He did ask Iwa about why he was wandering around in the first place and why the hell was he just traversing across the land with no plan or knowledge of the terrain. Iwa tells Tooru he ran away from his family but neglected to tell Tooru he was of royal monsterhunter blood. Iwa fires back the same question and Tooru responds saying “I get bored of spending all my time in the same old place every day.” neglecting to tell Iwa the fact that he too was of royal blood, the king to one of the many monster kingdoms. (Actually one of the most feared in fact??)

I was thinking the four armed form isn't his real monster form but a less scary version, he's actually a huge fearsome beast but he would walk around in this form to blend with the common folk. This also explains why people don’t recognize him, because if they really knew who he was, they’d be terrified of him.

Tooru is extremely flirty and generally enjoys teasing Hajime. Iwa's lizard does not like Tooru at all. It would be sitting on Iwa's shoulder, breathing small fireballs at Tooru whenever the brunette got too close- For example, when Tooru tries to wrap an arm around Iwa's shoulder or waist, Haji’s lizard would get extremely angry and began attacking him. Tooru is super upset about this tiny little creature preventing him from getting close to his new human companion, but nevertheless, he learns to pick moments where the lizard is asleep to try and engage with Haji

Sidenote, Iwa is a really fucking good archer and good at knives. He may not have had the heart to be a monster hunter, but he definitely had the physical skills to be one if he desired.

Of course there’s a bunch of shenanigans, but honestly speaking there’s also a good amount of sexual tension?? They have a lot of moments where they kinda save each other, whether it be having run ins with unfriendly monsters or humans, to navigating dangerous terrain and making hard decisions;;

They grow to be rather close friends I would dare say;; In fact, for the most part, Tooru would be Iwa's first genuine friend :(( Iwa was never given the luxury of having friends growing up. He spent most of his time training to be a monster hunter or learning about them, which is why he grew super attached to Tooru platonically at first

Once they have a pretty mean run in where Tooru ends up seriously hurt;; Iwa was so scared that he would lose Tooru at that moment;; Tooru fake dies to kinda tease Iwa but he didn't expect Iwa to cry, so as Iwa is there like "don't die on me you idiot-" Tooru "comes back to life" and is all like "awww is Iwa-chan crying because of me?" And Iwa, embarrassed, just punches him in the chest and wipes away his tears like "shut the fuck up asshole"

Tooru is just like "ow- I may not be dead but I'm still kinda hurt you know?" And Iwa feels bad so he just tries to play it off like "that's what you deserve dumbass" before treating Tooru's wounds. They end up spending the night at this cave near a lake where they decided to stay for a few days since Tooru was pretty beat up and the weather was pretty bad

Haji pretty much nursed Tooru back to health, finding berries, herbs and all that during the day in order to make medicine and food

I think at one point Tooru comments "You're really good at this kinda thing huh?" And Iwa is just confused like "good at what?" And Tooru elaborates "taking care of people. Not everyone can make medicine like you do you know?" And Iwa just says it was nothing and he learned most of it from reading when he was a kid

Also like I said the weather was pretty bad so imagine Iwa curling up next to his llama and lizard for warmth. Tooru finds it so fucking adorable??? Clearly the two of them loved Iwa and vice versa, but he couldn't help but feel a little jealous at the sight uxjxhdh

So like one night he just casually says "you guys sure look warm over there" and Iwa just looks at him like 😐

"I gave you my cape you know" and Tooru just "Monsters can't regulate heat like humans do, at least not my species" That was a lie but Iwa didn't know that, so he kinda just looks at Tooru funny before scooting over to Tooru and lying down next to him. His llama and lizard follow, and scoot on Tooru's other side so Tooru is kinda sandwiched in between Haji and the pets. Iwa just mumbles a quiet "now go to sleep dumbass" and Tooru just smiles like a fucking idiot

Iwa quickly dozes off but Tooru not so much, when he was sure Iwa was asleep he gently drapes the cape over Iwa instead before going to bed himself

The next day Iwa is the first to wake up and much to his fucking surprise, he was pretty much incapable of moving because Tooru had somehow wound up hugging him with two of his arms. He was so embarrassed he thought he could die so he could only stay there and not do anything. After while he realises that staying like that could only mean more mental suffering so he slowly tries inching away from Tooru to which he eventually succeeds

He does his morning routine which was to look for berries and herbs because Tooru needed quite a bit of medicine. Tooru was definitely close to being back to his healthy normal self but he still needed to make sure that everything was in check

Meet Iwa's familiar!! Her name is Kyuri, Japanese for cucumber :) - Hi more of my monster tooru AU!!!! This time a continuation of the story as well as just fluff :D - I'm not super happy with this but I'm so tired :((( fhjdjd hopefully next installments will turn out a little better!!!

As Iwa was looking for berries, he notices odd rustling sounds nearby. Originally he thought they were some forest critters but all those years of training told him that those were definitely not monsters.

Before he could ready his bow, an arrow is sent flying directly into his right shoulder. Panicked, he quickly takes cover and pulls the arrow out with his left hand, he takes a quick look at the arrow and realises that they were poison arrows, one that belonged to hunters from his kingdom? He didn't think they managed to track him all the way here and he knew for a fact if these were hunters sent by his family, it'd be hard to take them down alone

He tries running back to the cave but the poison was starting to kick in. He definitely didn't feel like he was dying but his shoulder was in a lot of pain and he was beginning to feel light headed, he guessed it was most likely a tranquilizing kinda poison and not one that would kill. Before he could even step foot out of the forest, he passes out.

Back at the cave, Tooru had already woken up awhile ago and was waiting for Iwa to come back, now Iwa was usually back before he wakes up but it seemed he was taking longer than usual, he gets a little worried and Iwa's lizard seemed particularly distressed. Tooru decides that something was wrong and left the cave to look for Iwa

After searching for a while, he finds the spot where Iwa had been shot, he had noticed blood with an arrow next to it. He picks up the arrow and notices a crest. Any monster would recognise that crest from anywhere, immediately, he knew what happened and hurried back to the cave to retrieve Iwa's belongings, llamas and lizard

Tooru figured it was time to return to his kingdom and get some help. Hiro and Issei I would say are two of Tooru's closest friends? They were probably High ranking generals or idk, Tooru's right hand men??? They had been the one's running the kingdom when Tooru was gone on his little "holiday" and now that Tooru was back, they were kinda bummed out actually

Tooru briefly tries to explain the situation, telling about what had happened and about Iwa. Hiro and Issei are pretty receptive to it, going along with their king's plea for help. At least that’s until Hio asks "So what kingdom took him?"

And Tooru is just like "(insert monster hunter kingdom name I haven't thought about here)"And makki loses his shit?? Like "are you fucking kidding me???" Tooru's like "oh yeah, hajime's a human" And Issei and Hiro are just like "you've been travelling with a human for 4months???"And Tooru is just "yeah, so?" While surprised and little weirded out at first, they come to accept it eventually

So yeah, back to Iwa he was pretty much put on trial for treason??? His dad gave a long speech about how much he had dishonoured the family blah blah and Iwa who has tolerated that bullshit all those years is just like "dishonoured?? You act so high and mighty but you don't know a damn fucking thing about monsters do you?"

And of course Iwa's dad is pissed, saying how they are beasts who have been terrorising humans for centuries and Iwa just snaps saying "terrorised? You kill them for simply existing- All those villages full of people different from you, their blood is on our kingdom’s hands-" Iwa's dad just says "their very existence is a sin" and Iwa wanted to badly to strike a blade through his father's heart but he couldn't because he was chained up

As their conversation dies down a messenger comes barging into the room eyes filled with terror and panic. According to him, a monster had made it inside their kingdom and was asking to meet Iwa's dad. Tooru, alongside Hiro and Issei, had already downed about 50 of their best hunters?? So that was enough to get the king’s attention.

Iwa immediately knew it was Tooru and his mind began to panic, because the last thing he would want was for them to kill Tooru trying to save him. Iwa's dad is like "they killed 50 of our men?" But the messenger nervously responds "no sir, he didn't kill them- but they're not capable of fighting" Knowing that Tooru hadn’t actually killed anybody made him feel so much more at ease.

As the messenger continued to explain the situation, the door swung open and in came Tooru himself, by his side was Issei, who had moved in to free Iwa on the command of Tooru. Iwa thanks him and Tooru and Iwa's dad just stared at each other

Iwa mumbles a soft "Tooru-" and Tooru's eyes briefly darts toward Iwa. Tooru just smiles so gently like he was trying to reassure Iwa everything was going to be okay before diverting his attention back to the king.

"I'll be taking my queen back from your hands." And immediately you can see Iwa just go ?????? Giving a "what the fuck" kinda face

Iwa's dad just turns to stare at Iwa but Iwa knew that it was best to leave the questions for later so instead he walks over to Tooru who had offered one his hands out for Iwa to hold?

"If you don't want any trouble it's best if you refrain from trying to kidnap Hajime from us again." And now Iwa's dad, fully aware of the danger that Tooru possessed, doesn't retaliate. By that time more hunters had arrived to offer backup?? Their weapons were all aimed at Tooru and Issei but Iwa's dad asks them to stand down, Tooru grins and calmly, they walk out of the door.

As their back turns immediately Iwa's dad order them to fire, from nowhere, Hiro kinda swoops in and knocks most of the men out before they could hit their shot? (Hiro has wings here, Issei has a really, really long whip-like tail)

Amidst the shootout, Issei had bound the monsterhunter king with his tail. Tooru turns back and walks slowly towards the king, so calmly whispering into his ear "You will let me and my men leave this kingdom free from harms way do you understand?"

Fear was evident? In the kings eyes? He hastily agrees and Issei immediately drops him to the ground, he gags a bit before looking up to see his son and the three monsters disappear slowly down the long corridor and from his sight

After they managed to leave safely, Iwa just kinda lost it, "Queen??? What the fuck is going on?" And Hiro and Issei kinda assumed this was a lovers quarrel (not knowing Iwa and Tooru weren't actually a thing) and decide, "Hey we're gonna head back first, have fun arguing" and they book it

Tooru comes clean and tells Iwa that he was actually a king??? Iwa goes apeshit and is just "The fuck do you mean you're a king" and Tooru is kinda like "surprise!" Tooru also take the opportunity to shoot back "To be fair, you did neglect to tell me you were royal blood yourself, monster hunter blood of all things-"

And of course what could Iwa say?? He just stared and paced in frustration a little bit before saying "That still doesn't explain the queen shit you pulled back there"And Tooru just laughs because Iwa was visibly red and almost kinda like an angry kitten??

“What's so bad about being my queen?"Hajime doesn't know how to respond so he spends a minute saying a word before angrily staring at Tooru and repeating.

"Because for someone to be your queen- They need to be someone you love-" And Tooru just stares at Iwa quietly for a moment like he was thinking? He eventually says "And what if I tell you that I am in love with you?"How was Iwa supposed to respond??? Cry??? Fuck, Iwa felt like so many things happened too quickly but at the same time he felt so undeniably happy and safe at that moment when Tooru said that.

"This better not be another one of you stupid jokes Oikawa" Tooru just slowly reaches out and caresses Iwa's cheek? "I promise it isn't" Tooru at that moment even takes off his necklace that he had been wearing around and puts it on Iwa instead?? They look at other and Tooru very confidently says "Become mine for real Iwa-chan"And it takes a moment before Iwa just melts into Tooru's touch??? And so, so quietly, he says "Okay." as allows himself to be embraced by the monster
