I was watching Jesus Christ superstar in class with my boyfriend and a friend just now. My boyfriend knows nothing about Christianity and didn’t know what Judi’s does after feeling guilty about the betrayal.
He was like: “what is he doing? What is he- NO NOOOOO!!!”
Also side note: he shipped Judas and Jesus and was so sad they didn’t live happily together (also he keeps sending me Jesus x Judas fanart)
This is the second time I see someone commenting they thought it was Jesus and Judas in my alhtred work. Interesting that you mention them bc I DID draw quite some Judas/Jesus arts when I was super into Jesus Christ Superstar, which was roughly in 2019-2020 lol
