On September 1, 1997. The beautiful break of dawn welcomed a baby boy into the world. Jeon Jeongukk, the now youngest of seven. The boy was multiple talented beyond belief; he could sing, dance, draw, and lift over a thousand times his body weight?! Yep, At the young age of four, the boy developed inhuman super strength.

You wouldn't believe the look on his mother's face after watching her little tot hold their house at a tilt to receive his toy ball. His mother felt petrified of taking Jeongukk to any doctor in fear of them taking him away and experimenting on her precise baby.

Instead, she securely wrapped him up in bubble wrap and waited for her husband to return for work. From there, as soon as the father steps through the threshold she bombarded him with questions.

His father came clean about his family’s history and explained something along the lines of the ‘gift’. Apparently, The brute strength appeared in his family dating back to ancient times where his forefathers used their power for only good. There wasn’t anything extraordinary to come into detail besides the power skipping a few generations just to land in the hands of the littlest Jeon.

He sighed after taking a breath-

“You’ll catch a cold.” A frilly pink umbrella covered his head. Your cheeks were round and puffy, Your lips looked sweet, and Your eyes were breathtaking. “Hello?”

Speechless, He watched you tongue-tied.

“Boy?” You found it difficult not to giggle at the blood spreading to the tip of his ears and cheeks.

He flinched back, cupping his ears.

“Kookie!” His mother screamed, She wasted no time to snatch him up by his sleeve and pull him away from you.

Jeongukk's big brothers took care of him as he was shoved back into the house.

His mother glances your way. “Are you ok?”

Baffled, You merely shook your head. Yes.

“Did he hurt you?”

“Why would he hurt me? How could he? He's too cute.” That is what she wanted to say but again, all you did was shake your head.

The mother left the conversation there and made her way into their house.

“Jeongukk?” You uttered the name of the boy, you may never see again..maybe.

Jungkook fumbles with his phone, nearly dropping it when he hurries to accept your delivery. It’s another chance to see you. He shouldn’t be this happy to see a customer but you’re more than a customer to him. Maybe this could be his chance.

“But we just got here.” She sits back in her seat, setting her pencil down on the table next to her books. “I still need your help!”

“You don’t. I’m not the only one who’s good at Chemistry here.” Jungkook rolls his eyes. He only agreed to this because he needed to study too. He’ll take the hit for missing a tutor session, he really doesn’t care.

He moves away from the table, almost knocking his chair back as he scrambles to gather his things. If he’s being honest, he’s glad he can finally leave. They’ve been at the library for a little over 30 minutes. He much rather be anywhere else but here. 

“You can ask for another tutor.”

“I specifically asked for you!” She blurts our but covers her mouth as she stands. Her eyes pleading with him to stay. He could care less.

“Irene… You don’t need my help.”

He can hear the click of her tongue, annoyance settling in. By the time she says something else, he’s practically done packing his belongings as he grabs his phone and the book he couldn’t fit in his bag.
