D-1 ALCHEMY OF SOULS SEASON 2

As I said a few months ago, I would not watch the last two episodes until the day before season 2 was released. 

That day is today.

I have one thing to say:

WHAT ON EARTH JUST HAPPENED 

MUDEOK JUST WENT

Ang Jang Uk went 

And then Park Jin

And Ji Mun

AND THEN EVERYBODY

AND THEN MUDEOK JUST

AND JANG UK LITERALLY WENT 

AND THE DIRECTORS:

AND THEN THEY DROP THE CUT FOR SEASON 2 

Thankfully, I will only be sad until tomorrow but I feel sorry for all the ones that watched the last two episodes when they were aired

This is the perfect description. He acts like he hates it but he actually likes the fact that he has a reason to visit Uk. Like, you can't deny the truth your highness, you care about Uk, don’t lie to us.

So far one of my funniest takeaways is that whenever Jang Uk kills another soul shifter and has to be rewarded, it basically goes like

Go Won: Ugh, I can't believe I'm gonna visit Jang Uk again.

Jin Mu: You don't have to.

Go Won: No, I'm gonna.

ALCHEMY OF SOULS 2 EPISODE 7 AND 8-PART 2

This gives me Dom vibes and they are both fighting for control. But, as always, after the peace comes the storm and the storm should die.

On this episodes, I felt single and then mad because HER MEMORIES CAME BACK but NOT ON THE WAY I WANTED THEM TO COME BACK

Like, COME ON MAN. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT IF HER MEMORIES CAME BACK DURING THAT KISS, WOULDN'T IT? Just imagine, like, forget about the lights, she would have undressed him right there.

Their side profile is so pretty though.

Tell me, was I the only surprised by the sudden revelation of Choyeon and Dangu? Because, I was not ready at all for the sudden revelation of their hot night. -I low key want an special episode of that-

The way Jin Mu really yeeted the plaque to the jail was kinda funny but the our girl just walked in there looking all powerful and I felt very proud.

I need that little turtle

The crown prince is planning something, we all know it and we also all know that he is going to be the one to protect Naksu -With his besty Jang Uk, of course- once the truth is revealed.

I'm scared about episode 9 and 10, to be honest.

ALCHEMY OF SOULS 2 EPISODE 9 AND 10

WE GOT A HAPPY ENDING

After 2022 was a year of freaking sad endings

(Yes everybody, get those flashbacks)

etcetera, no need to relieve painful memories

*Laughs in maniac*

I must admit, I was expecting a sad ending for AOS BUT I am extremely surprised the directors got their souls back and decided to give us the ending we needed

Because, you know, one can only acquire so much trauma

SO TO GO OVER EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED ON THIS TWO EPISODES

The crown prince honestly deserved being a King, he got his happy ending and him looking at Jin Mu and going "I am not weak, caring about the weak makes me strong" -I'm paraphrasing, but you get me- and then being like "BAM! Here is my bestie" was wonderful

Jin Mu first death and then the second death were extremely EYE PLEASING, I was giggling all the way and then staring in shock because JANG UK YOU JUST KILL SOMEONE, DON'T LOOK AT THE CAMARA LIKE THAT *Dies in shock*

Now, Seo Yul mourning for So-i was a nice touch. I am upset that the didn't got their happy ending together but it's nice to know that something could have happened if she had remained alive.

Then we have Naksu, our sweet little assassin who SLAYED THE MURDER -Or almost murder- OF JIN MU. She really said "You picked the wrong girl to manipulate, and I do not like to repeat my mistakes" and then BAM proceeds to let Jang Uk kill her -But not really-

Then, THE TURTLE. This turtle was AMAZING, I need one of those for good luck. The amazing mythical creature that decided to crawl out of the FREAKING OCEAN JUST TO SAVE OUR COUPLE

Jang Uk killing the whole Unanimous assembly just because they had caused for his girl to disappear was POWERFUL. This man screamed revengeful vibes since the beginning and we all knew it.

Their last -or what we thought would be their last- moments together were wonderful, so cute and raw and I NEED THEM TO MAKE ANOTHER DRAMA TOGETHER. The weeding being directed by Master Lee was wonderful and the fact that the meaning of their names were Light and Shadow and that's why the name of the second part was Light and shadow? That was some awesome last second reveal. But then, sad part came and Naksu was gone and I MUST ADMIT THAT I ALMOST CRIED.

He lost his baby again, and it was painful.

And then he came back, and it was even more painful.

"I know my Lord" said Maidservant Kim as she cried. YES WE ALL KNOW, I ALMOST CREATED A MACHINE IN ORDER TO APPEAR BESIDES YOU AND SAVE YOU

AND THEN HE DIED

AND THEN THEY ALL DIED

AND THEN I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE HECK WAS WRONG WITH 2022

AND THEN JIN BUYEON JUST SAID "YOU CAN GET HER BACK" AND THEN NAKSU WAS BACK

AND THEN HAPPY ENDING FOR EVERYBODY

I must say, I would have loved an expanded ending. But I am happy with what we got.

Now, it is time to say goodbye and it hurts me to know that it's over but I am happy they got their happy ending.

Now, I'm off to see Island and The glory. And yes, you can expect posts about this dramas.

How dare the Hong sisters make most of the episode cute and happy and then pull that cliffhanger ending 😭😭 how do they expect us to wait till December 😭😭. How is the crown prince not sus of jinmu he was literally sus of anyone in the beginning. how is naksu gonna clear her name and what is jang uk gonna do after he finds out that all of this was shitmu's work. I have so many questions

Anyways the cast did such a good job I hope they got enough rest for s2
