Simeon loves Hyun Jae

I know Jun & Jun is showing us that everybody is in love with Lee Jun, but . . .

I don't think Simeon really is.

When we first see him in the flashback, he is is seen between Lee Jun and Hyun Jae.

Shots that show a person in between two people like this normally highlight that the person is a barrier between those two people, like this scene with Lee Jun between Choi Jun and his "fiancée" Kim Young.

So the reason Simeon would be between Lee Jun and Hyun Jae is because . . .

He likes Hyun Jae?

When Hyun Jae was asking what he could do for him in exchange for Simeon's help, I think he was flirting with Hyun Jae.

Hyun Jae has an issue with babying Lee Jun, yet Simeon immediately shut that down by reminding Hyun Jae that he is a grown man.

But the text messages he sent Hyun Jae seem as if Simeon does like Lee Jun.

Yet, much like Simeon standing in the middle of the two, perhaps he is jealous that Hyun Jae is still sheltering Lee Jun like a child needing protection and avoiding him because the final scene, which was a flashback, was very interesting.

The song lyrics show over shots of Hyun Jae, not Simeon, and Hyun Jae's voice broke when he delivered this line.

Simeon shoulder checked him as he was getting into the van.

Because this wasn't a professional rift. This was personal.

And I think both of them knew that.

The released graphic showed their relationship was "former manager" but the question mark implies that may not have been all there was, and the arrows go both ways.

Also, the promo material has them paired with those damn question marks too.

In conclusion, I think Simeon loves Hyun Jae, and is trying to make him jealous by openly dotting on Lee Jun. Mostly, if Hyun Jae is avoiding him.

Because when Simeon was telling Lee Jun sweet nothings, the screen panned to Hyun Jae's face.

I think Simeon is being petty in order to get Hyun Jae to notice him.

He already lost once. He doesn't plan on losing again.

It's canon to me.
