I thought the female protags were ok at first.

Then I felt more sympathy for Jacques dying than Yang getting knocked off the bridge.

I think the thing that constantly makes me laugh at the RWDE tag and other RWBY hatedom communities is this:

if you wanted a show where male characters were the real heroes and real focus of the show, why in the name of heck did you start watching a show named for its female protagonists.

honestly i feel the same!! back when i was convinced we'd get the movie i just waited patiently bc i thought that YOI is so perfect i could never do it justice, but that it's cancelled i just want YOI to stay alive and i want to do my part too and draw content of them and tell my own yuri on ice stories... I love this anime and it's characters so SO much, i just can't without them in my life, and if MAPPA won't give me more YOI, then we as the fandom will have to take matters into our own hands let's all work together to keep YOI alive and remembered for all eternity

If anything, I feel the urge to write more Yuri On Ice fanfiction. To keep reading amazing Yuri on Ice fanfiction. To draw more Yuri on Ice art. To purchase more doujin and support work of talented people who still create Yuri on Ice content/stories.
