I was messing around with a pencil today when I accidentally stumbled upon a new hairstyle for my Kaleesh OC Gem Lu Tazzil that I rather like, hence why I am ignoring my eye responsibilities in these drawings.
Kaleesh people only have 4 fingers, cyborg Grievous has 6...

In the Star Wars universe, this doesn't make sense at all, but it was such a Kummar and Sheelal moment that it seemed wrong not to draw.
Sheelal looks...funky at best. He's such a tricky character to draw. What a silly man.
I love thinking about which characters I know fit into songs well, which is the source of this quickly thrown-together drawing. I linked the song below if you're interested.
In all seriousness though, Sheelal would have a terrible voice.

Grievous deserves a happy ending. Or maybe I just deserve to see him get a happy ending.
Either way, I wrote him one and I hope you enjoy it.
And the pain was gone. Grievous's eyes, no longer laced with fire, examined his new surroundings. Kenobi was gone. The Soulless was gone. Utapau was gone. He looked down and saw that his bandaged feet were balancing on an empty nothingness.
Wait. His feet.
With a mix of pleasure and surprise, Grievous realized that his body, for the first time in many years, was whole again.
As Grievous examined his surroundings, he concluded that he was dead. This was annoying, as it meant Kenobi had singlehandedly killed him. Kenobi! Alone!
Suddenly a new thought struck the dead warlord.
If I'm dead, he thought, and I'm here, does that mean-?
"Hey Sheelal." Said a voice behind him. And with a mix of unbounding pleasure and surprise, Sheelal realized that his heart, for the first time in many years, was whole again.
I asked members of the general grievous discord server for comic ideas...and you delivered. And yes. I finally compiled this into one post to spare your sanity.

Poor Sheelal. He never wanted to but he’d never say no to Kummar.
As you can see, I’m very much struggling with Sheelal at the moment.

Grievous sat completely still for a couple of seconds before his head abruptly tilted to the right. “I am sorry, he what now,” he inquired quite politely.
“What do you mean he didn’t die??” The polite veneer was quickly replaced with disbelief. “I died & I had the Count’s good graces to be emergency ejected from the consuming fireball my shuttle was turned into. Chwauwa?? Although- koffk- if any of us were going to be able to tank that explosion it would be Sk’ar, wouldn’t it.”
“Benny too thick to die, not surprising,” the general muttered with a dismissive wave of his hand. “I did make that giant chunk of meat sit in the back.” He had to reread your question. The second half had been drowned out in his surprise. “The Empire, you say? The Empire was just the Republic rebranded, yes? Hmm, don’t like that,” Grievous growled, promptly assaulting the holo input to do some research. He settled back in his seat with one hand risen to his faceplate in deep thought, looking angry & concerned.
“All I have access to here are largely public records & protocol reports. Some overeager Imperial captain bombarded the kaleeshi Oben colony from orbit & took Sk’ar alive, hm? I had not known him to be the kind to bend a knee.” Grievous ruminated on this for a while in silence, save his wheezing. “Unless he was not given a choice…the Sidious onboarding package,” he hissed before letting out a frustrated, digitally garbled roar. You thought that he may tear his seat from its moorings (again) & throw it but after a few moments he sighed.
His limbs, his armor & his claws had ratcheted into high, clenched positions as if ready to attack. Now they all went slack as he sat draped across the industrial chair looking defeated. “What a wretched cosmic wraith, to use up everything he touches without even caring,” Grievous resumed speaking in a more deadpan tone, “He corrupted the legacy of Bentilais san Sk’ar for what? His own amusement? I hate this. Why have you told me this, Zenja?” He had several facets of outrage over this, so much so that he had immediately overloaded his capability to unpack any of that for the moment.
I gave my cousin a comic request and they answered the call...

A big part of my au with my oc Nevaeh is that Grievous sees her as a mini Kummar, or a little perfect bean who needs to be protected.
I also have a bad habit of writing fics and stories in clumps of random sections in the story, while still acting like the reader has full knowledge of what's going on, so combine those and you get this.

“Don’t worry, General. Nothing can happen to us if we stick together!” Nevaeh laughed as she stabbed another clone. “Besides, we only need to hold our position for a bit longer. These clones aren’t endless!”
“The Huk aren’t endless!”
Grievous laughed nervously. Mirienna raised an eyebrow but Grievous was saved from the young Sith’s imminent interrogation when their comlinks chimed.
Nevaeh glanced at the datapad on her wrist and muttered a Kaleesh insult under her breath, to Grievous’ amusement.
“The northern wing is being overrun. Stay here, I’ll take care of it.”
“What happened to staying together?” Grievous replied.
“Don’t worry Grievous, I’ll be back before you even notice I’m gone!”
“Don’t worry Sheelal, I’ll be back before your puny male brain even registers my absense!”
“Kummar…” Grievous whispered.
“Pardon?”
“Nothing. Go quickly.” Grievous rolled his shoulders back and prepared for another wave of clones.
Nevaeh hesitated.
“I said go!” Grievous snapped. With this new motivation, Mirienna quickly ran down the hall.
For the next few minutes, Grievous fell into a near trance, slicing and dicing clones without a second thought.
“Seriously, if I had known it was going to be this easy, I would have sent someone else to fight this battle. Where are all the Jedi anyways? Probably getting defeated by Mirienna. Ugh.” Grievous thought aloud.
The thought of Mirienna suddenly reminded Grievous of what she was doing, and he extinguished one of his lightsabers to access his comlink.
“Mirienna, you have failed to check in. Have you reestablished control of the northern wing?”
After saying this, Grievous chided himself. “She has only been gone a few minutes,” he thought, “Why am I so worried?”
However, his fears persisted as the channel remained silent.
“Mirienna? Mirienna?”
“Kummar? Kummar?”
“Nevaeh, answer me!”
“Ronderu? Where are you?!”
Something was wrong.
Split between his loyalty to stick to his post and his concern for Mirienna, Grievous killed a final clone with a “hmph” and ran for the North Wing, trampling clones underfoot as he went.
Green blood went flying, but Sheelal hardly saw the Huks before he cut them down.
“Nevaeh!”
Looking up, Sheelal could see a fight taking place on the nearby cliff. A Huk fell off the edge, tumbling into the ocean.
He ran faster.
Blaster shots singed his armor, but Grievous didn’t care or notice. Only one thing mattered now.
He bolted up the side of the cliff, his brain screaming at his exhausted body to go faster, faster, FASTER!”
“Oh, ancestors…” Grievous thought, “Please…”
There was a cry of pain. Sheelal ran faster than he ever had before. And as he reached the top of the cliff, he was just in time to see a body holding two familiar Lig swords tumble off the cliff.
“KUMMAR!” Sheelal screamed.
“...Please do not let it be too late…”
Grievous barreled around the corner, nearly hitting Mirienna, who was holding a stolen clone comlink, attempting to rewire it.
“Oh hi Grievous, my comlink got shot so I was rewi-”
Overcome with relief, Grievous picked Mirienna up and hugged her. She let out a surprised squeak and he quickly dropped her, his embarrassment clearly visible.
In the first instant Grievous saw the young Sith, he had wanted to throw her across the room. Why should she live, when Kummar hadn’t?
It wasn’t fair!
But as Grievous stared into her innocent, two colored eyes, his anger melted into something different.
It wasn’t fair, but Grievous understood now. Mirienna – Nevaeh – was a blessing from the gods. She was a second chance for Grievous. Kummar may not have lived, but Grievous would never let the same thing happen to Nevaeh.
“W-what was that?” She panted, shocked.
Grievous stared at her, trying to find a good excuse to explain his behavior. But after a few seconds, he realized that nothing would work. Nevaeh knew him too well.
Ironic.
He straightened his face the best he could, turned around, and walked out of the room.
“...Come on. He battle is not over yet.”
And Nevaeh faithfully followed him.
My cousin is staying at my house currently, and I happen to live at a much higher elevation than them, and the other day we came up with this stupid comic idea based around the idea that Sheelal has probably been sea level all his life, and he would be totally out of breath immediately if he visited the mountains Kummar is from.
I don't think Gem thought this through all the way.
Oh, chaotic, chaotic roleplays.
