This is the third episode of the special, Signs of Holy war. This episode focuses ENTIRELY on King and Diane. This is the episode I’ve always wanted. I watched the whole thing with tears in my eyes. This whole thing was amazingly adorable, incredibly beautiful, hopeful, and depressingly sad all at once. I swear that the theme surrounding King and Diane has to be either Time, or the idea of Loss because I don’t know any other characters that have issues with losing and gaining their memories the way these two do. >_< Whenever we (because I refuse to accept that we won’t ever) get a real full on kiss between these two, it’s going to be one of the greatest days of my life. ^_^

“Hey king, I have a gift for you!”
I looked back seeing Diane running towards me I smiled as a greeting slightly blushing “D-Diane you didn’t have to get anything!”
She giggled “It’s just a drink silly”
She pulled a blue can from where she had it hidden behind her back. She presented it to me, leaned over and read the label “Red bull. Sounds aggressive.”
“No no it’s rather good! Just try it king!”
She shoved it into my hands and took a step back biting her lip in… anticipation? What is she anticipating? After examining the label further l cracked the can and hesitantly took a sip. My hair was ruffled violently as a rush of air burst from my back. I stood in shock my eyes wide, the can in my hand shaking as Diane who was trying to suppress a giggle said in a sing song voice "Red bull gives you wiiings.”
Instead of overusing the amnesia plot line how about the misunderstanding trope. King doesn’t erase Diane memory after leaving her, he gets kidnapped by the holy knights in his sleep leaving to Diane to believe he’s no different than other giants and humans she came across in the end they’re all the same fueling her envy
One of my many OTP’s. I love them, and I’m so happy they are canon. I draw this way before they were an official couple, so It’s kind of old.
