swatch of snowdrop lace knitted with embroidery floss on the tiniest needles I own
Thought it would take me months to knit this, but I underestimated the power of hyperfixation when you’re virtually housebound and work like 2 hours a day, so I made it in 15 days instead. Once it’s done blocking, I’ll have a sweater I made!! In the middle of a never ending heat wave! Yay!
#StegoSweater by Hunt Hand Knits

This one has been finished for a while, but sadly I haven't had the change to wear it yet. It's the Méli-Mélo pattern by Yasmin E. on etsy. But I knitted with steeks instead, since I find it easier to do colour-work that way.

a little knit update - I’ve started and am almost done with the Birdsong Sweater and I am over the moon with it.

New scarf! I got inspired by the pink and military green combo while doing other projects and decided I needed to try a floral pattern with it!
Around halfway through, I decided to make a matching star keychain/bunny to go with it just for fun!
So happy with how it turned out!

i realised that i never did post my tea cosy so! here she is! my tea cosy!
i initially thought she was way too fussy, between the pattern detail and the yarn speckling, but she’s grown on me. she keeps the teapot warmer for longer by a pretty substantial amount. plus, I got to block her by soaking her, filling the teapot with boiling water, and then putting the tea coat on for the ambient heat to dry, which was Super fun. i wish i could block everything like that…

Here’s a mushroom cowl I knit!
The cowl design is by HuntHandKnits on ravelry and Etsy, this cowl also has a crotchet version.

Feeling a bit under the weather today, so I’m ging myself a quiet night in to do some knitting and catching up on some youtube. Really loving how the lace leave detail on the shoulder of this tee is working up!

snake sweater, snake sweater

another sweater is done .. the pattern is haze sweater from the knit purl girl and the yarn is studio donegal .. i’m happy with how it turned out !

Finished my husband's sweater! ...in the middle of August.
Pattern is Honeycomb Aran by Gayle Bunn. Really fun knit, but I did substitute the 8 strand center braid for a honeycomb pattern, which is much simpler to memorize. (yes the Honeycomb Aran does not... have... any honeycomb cables??). This was a great project to practice knitting cables without a cable needle, pretty easy with wool.
next project- knitting a baptism gown for my baby due at the end of September. Smaller gauge and lace, should be a good change after the chunky cables!

let’s see if this will post this time- train knitting from yesterday!
still working on the celestarium shawl. “only” 30-ish rows to go, but those rows are 600 stitches apiece. and then the edging…
(“maker why are you doing BEADED shawls on the TRAIN” because i love to live dangerously. next question.)
