Kny X Male Reader - Tumblr Posts
The same thing as before, but different <3
If I'm correct i was sure Zenitsu was like Pretty girls only deserve the prettiest flowers
So may i request a scenario with inosuke where when he hears this from Zenitsu and he starts looking for flowers and picks them (probably still with some weeds) and says " MY HUSBAND IS THE PRETTIEST BOY SO HE DESERVES THESE PRETTY FLOWERS" idk it's something i think he would say

Format: Headcanons
Pairing(s): Inosuke
Warnings: None
Inosuke x M! Reader: Gift Headcanons
If you think this boy is picking flowers for you, you're dead wrong
He thinks flowers are stupid tbh
He will however take interest in the fact that people get their partners things
So instead of flowers he'll probably give you acorns and leaves
Or neat looking rocks
You ever have a pig man court you with rocks?
âšImmaculateâš
Theyre not even sparkly rocks or gem rocks, they're just rocks that caught his attention
Maybe once or twice he'll get you flowers
With their roots
And dirt
And grass and weeds
With the flowers he does get you, he gets really confused but awe'd when he sees that you've dried and pressed them
You can do that to plants??
Wait why would you keep them, they're dead??
Once you reveal that you've kept many things he's given you in a special box and that you've kept them because they're from him so they mean more to you
He gets uncharacteristically soft
With how many rocks he's given you, you reveal that you carry a few with you whenever you go on missions as a good luck charm
Can and will lift you over his head like Doodlebob with the pencil
And scream "mihoy mi noy!"
Jk but he will scream at how amazing and kind you are
And then proceed to German Suplex you bc he's like that
Feelings are hard for him, he doesn't really know how to express them
But on calmer nights where you're settling in for bed, you take your rocks out of your pocket and place them next to your pillow
He'll softly headbutt you
And you just know
I feel like I've seen a few kny blogs with this same ask lolol
I admire your dedication for feral content

istg something out there dont want me to send this request so Iâll *try* to shorten it,
Male reader whos a half demon, half human, half demon. His father isnât bad thats not what im saying but he is the son of Douma so maybe as a younger child, his father bringing home a body mightâve scared him. So he runs away and meets Uzui who becomes a father figure to the half demon. Even though readerâs demon side isnât as big as it may have been with his father or other demons, unfortunately even though it tastes terrible reader sometimes eats bitd and pieces of humans, killing them. Reader hates doing this but he canât stop..he wants to be normal and drink tea without an needing for eating humans. Reader has to leave so he runs away from home again, and leaves a note to Uzui, confessing and saying sorry. But the two may never get to meet again as reader runs into his father, Douma. U deicide what happens next :)
Run rabbit, Run rabbit, Run Run Run!
â ïžWarningsâ ïž: Yandere, blood, mentioned of eating/drinking animals and their blood, kidnapping, obsessive father, and hinted abuse.
Yandere Douma x (PLATONIC) son!reader
Tengen Uzui (+ his wives) x (PLATONIC) adopted son!reader
Author notes: Hi Hon! So I changed it from eating bits of humans to animals (like small birds). As if reader ate humans (even just a finger etc) Uzui would sense in his aura and kill him unfortunately. Was motivated to do this early. Your 8 years old at the start and 9 at the end.
Next part >
You really didn't know why you ran away. Just that poor lady, she looked so lifeless... you knew she was dead but there was so much blood on her! It made you feel uncomfortable. Your father's cheery voice offering you the "first bite" of your first human didnât help.
The next thing you knew you were running before you tripped on something. You just curled up and continued sobbing too upset to stand. Before you heard a voice? Oh no... father found you didn't he! He was probably going to be mad at you... That made you sob harder.
âżââżââżââżââżââżââżââżââżââżââż
"Hey now." A man said. He didn't sound like father?
"Oh the poor thing!" A woman shouted...?
"Suma quite! Your gonna scare him!" A different woman now yelled? At that you looked up and saw a man, and three women.
"Hey it's okay." The third women spoke now sitting on the ground in front of you. She had Black hair and violet eyes.
"Careful Hina, it's a demon!" a black and yellow hair yelled.
"Sh Makio! He's only about 7 or 8." Hina answered turning to look at Makio you think before she looked back at you.
"Is everything okay?" The nice lady Hina asked.
You sniffle trying to calm your breathing before answering.
"Father came home with... with a dead lady! He kept saying to eat her! I don't wanna eat her!" You shouted before bursting into tears again.
You could make out some gasps from them before you were picked up and hugged?
"It's okay sweetie. Your dad isn't here your safe ok?" Hina spoke again. You looked up at her to see her smiling now.
"He's adorable!" The first lady yelled again. She had black hair and sapphire eyes. "Can he adopt him Tengen?" You forgot her name...
The man didn't answer he kept staring at you. This Tengen guy looked very intimidating not to mention his height made him even more scary.
"Of course. We can't just leave him!" He now shouted before smiling... that made you flinch.
"Yes! Come on Hina let's go give him a bath" the first lady whose name you learned Suma said.
Suma, Hina walked off ahead. Tengen and Makio trailed behind the three.
"Aren't you worried he may attack he's a demon after all." Makio spoke after some silence.
"From what I can tell he's only half. And if he does do something I will eliminate him." Tengen answered glancing at the three figures up ahead before back at Makio.
"Now! Why don't we go pick out some flamboyant clothes for him?" Tengen now shouted before giving Makio a chance to answer.
âżââżââżââżââżââżââżââżââżââżââż
They were very sweet and within no time they became family to you. It took some time getting used to them but after a while you actually ended up started calling them your parents.
You made sure to call each something different so it wasn't confusing. Suma was "Mama", Maiko was "Mom" and Hina was "Mother". You called Tengen a lot of different things. Sometimes it was Papa or even Dad.
Everything was great with them you honestly lived a normal life it was like you weren't even part demon. You could go out in the sun but you're half demon side made you get sunburned really easy. You even had your birthday with them and honestly it was probably one of the best birthdays you've ever had so far.
Everything was great that was until your father came home injured and your mom's were all panicking. But that wasn't the worst part his blood smells so good you... wanted a taste? No! That's wrong!
After that moment you couldn't stop craving it. Would it taste good or would it taste gross. Eventually you didn't know what to do but you didn't want to ask them that's just creepy. They're already knew you were part demon you didn't want to make it worse. I mean your child wanting to eat you? That's creepy. So whenever you did you would go out into the forest behind the estate. You never went too far but you'd find any animals you could and... kill them for blood. It satisfied you enough not fully but enough those thoughts disappeared. They didn't seem to notice apparently if it wasn't human they wouldn't notice in your aura!
But it became too hard. Constantly sneaking out for that to stop those thoughts. You weren't normal clearly no normal person would do that. Eventually your thoughts got the best of you maybe it's best if you left again. But you'd at least write a note this time!
So that's what you did, none of them noticed apparently. By the time they did there was a letter on their bed. Although you only addressed it to your father you didn't want your mother's freaking out.
To Papa
I'm sorry! I just couldn't stay. You didn't notice but whenever one of you bled it smells so good! It isn't normal but I managed to stop the thoughts. It was hard though I had to... kill some birds for their blood. I know it's not normal, so I thought it's best if I left. You should at least have a normal son, a human not a demon.
Sorry, from M/n
You didn't anticipate them searching for you. But by the time they did you were far enough away it would be hard to track you down. You started questioning that maybe you should go back maybe... maybe they wouldn't think you were weird?
You didn't notice someone was following you. You are walking through a forest not near any town so no one should be out here. The next thing you know you felt something hit you on your head and everything went black.
That's when you woke up in a room. It looked familiar... wait this was your old bedroom... with your Father...
"Oh my sweetheart! Your awake! I was so worried! I didn't find you anywhere, then one day you just happen to be walking through the forest that I was strolling through!" He answered.
"Don't worry! Your safe with Papa! I won't let anyone hurt you... or take you away. You'll say safe here forever!" He smiled... that sickly sweet smile you hated it.
"Don't worry about your kidnappers sweetheart, I took care of them! They'll have a big lovely group of hungry demons going towards them!" He spoke before laughing as if that was amusing.
"Stop it Douma!" You finally shouted.
"Douma? No no no! It's Papa or Dad or Father to you! And you won't be leaving this room until you call me that!" Douma shouted before marching out of your room and slam in the door shut before you hear a lock.
You also now noticed the window in your room was fully barred up and had boards on the outside... you wanted to go home!

You sit, alone, hidden in the shade of a line of trees that covers the roof that you sit on. You're high enough that you can reach out and touch the leaves on the treetop, and the breeze ruffles your hair gently. It's very hot out today, and the intensity of the sun has you missing the winter instantly. You miss the early blanket of darkness and the snow that crumples beneath your footsteps. Summer is overrated.
You're only sitting outside because it's a nice day out and you don't want to waste away hibernating in your bedroom like you always do, only coming out when you're summpned for a mission. You want to get out of that mindset, but it's incredibly difficult to just change your whole lifestyle in only one day.
Everyone that sees you, if they even notice you, is visibly shocked that you've finally come out of your little cave and started seeing the light of day again. It's not your fault that you don't particularly value interaction with others. It just never really turned out all that well for you in the past. Friends are overrated.
With this in mind, it makes sense that not many people recognise you, and mistake you for a less experienced, new recruit. One of the only people that actually knows your name is the Wind Pillar, Sanemi. He is the one who'd scouted you, having seen your will to shed blood and protect a group of children that you were travelling with.
You had all been driven from your village by crooks, and while you could have overpowered them, it wasn't worth risking the children just to become a criminal, and run the risk of being hunted down by allies they might have. It had taken you a long time to gather the reason and courage to migrate, and so you did, carrying two children on your back and holding the hands of two others. Another three who were a few years older were following on behind you, and together, you migrated through a thick blanket of snow in the dead of night to get away, managing to fend off demons for a good few days until you had gotten desperate.
Sanemi had seen you struggle against a group of demons in a forest nearby to the town he was guarding just as you had started to get weaker, bleeding and bruised as you brutally kill the last low-level demon, telling the children that they can open their eyes now.
You had met him when one of the creatures had gotten up from where you thought you'd killed it, and the Wind Pillar had instantly terminated it, begrudgingly guiding you to the town. For some reason, he'd decided he wanted to take you with him, "because you don't talk so you're not so annoying."
The rest is history.
The Pillar is sitting beside you in the blink of an eye, watching you and huffing as you only offer him a shy smile, giving you a cross look.
"Why are you sitting here? You should sit with me more often! You're my disciple!"
"Ah... my apologies... i'll sit with you more from now."
He huffs jaggedly, his voice raspy and low in a way that has your stomach doing twists. He's always been quite possessive of you. It makes you feel happy, too, like you're worth something to somebody. It's an addictive feeling. One you can't get enough of. He'd started growing a soft spot for you when he started teaching you how to fight.
You were good in comparison to normal humans, but to a Hashira, you were nothing but an annoying little fruit fly that could easily be swatted away. So he trained you because he had a soft spot for people who were good with kids and those who were good against demons. What he wasn't too big a fan of was how quiet and antisocial you could be.
You're just a naturally very quiet, genuine person, so he talks to you in ways noone else can understand or bear witness to, and it makes you feel especially lucky. Especially when you lean against his side, resting on him and letting your head fall to his shoulder.
Somewhere along the lines, he grew soft for you, and fell in love with you. It was a difficult process but it was worth it, even if you don't say it much, and it took you a good few years to work up the courage to even invite him into your home just for lunch, to which he gruffly accepted and continued to eat you out of house and home.
You smile at the memory, happy that you gained the courage to confess to your saviour, and knowing now that he was equally as infatuated and interested, like he was some wild animal, studying you and stalking you in the hopes to learn more.

Sanemi x Reader - Little Spoon Headcanon
It's the middle of the night and the crickets chirp in the grass outside of the window, your eyes closed as you cuddle into your lover's back sleepily. He snores softly as you wrap your hands around his torso, your hands instinctively cradling his abs and caressing the soft but rigid texture. He practically purrs in his sleep as he shifts, too comfortable to wake up.
So the next morning when you both wake up at the same time, Sanemi freezes at the feeling of your arms around him, instead of his around you.
What's worse? Is that he's so comfortable.
Your arms are so soft and your chest is pressed against his back, ensuring that he can feel every beat of your heart and your every breath. And he loves every second of it, begrudgingly.
"Mnh- Good morning, baby."
He only grunts in reply, backing up into you slightly and deciding that he doesn't need to get up until later, screw the real world. His hand comes up to carress your wrist which lays on his abs and the poor man melts, groaning as he strokes the palm of your hand with rough, calloused ones.
His bed hair looks basically like his normal hair except just a little less tamed, and one side is flat from where he's been laying on it, but you pay no mind to that right now as you stare at the back of his head in shock.
You can tell that he's obviously a little flustered and when he pulls you closer by the arm, you're swooning and resting your forehead against his back, fully taking in his presence, and the way he somehow smells like a warm fire.
The two of you stay cuddled together like that for another while, ignoring the duties of the day calling you and staying in eachothers' arms just a little while longer.
He's so surprisingly soft sometimes that you wonder where his usual self disappeared to, not that it's not a welcome change, because really this is so adorable, but you pay no mind to that right now as you nuzzle your face into his neck and going back to a blissful sleep as you spoon him.
a scenario for Daki/ume in Morden AU with male reader?
MODERN AU
CHARACTERS â UME (HUMAN DAKI)

Ume slowly sat up in her bed, rubbing her eyes in the process . The lack of warmth next to her woke her from her slumber. She huffed in frustration before throwing the covers off of her figure, slithering out of bed.
When walking down the stairs she freezed in her tracks, the aroma wafting in the air all too similar. Squealing like an excited school girl, she jumped down the stairs before rushing towards the kitchen, eyes practically sparkling.
(Y/n) chuckled at her reaction, before embracing her into a quick hug, sneaking a couple of pecks on her cheeks. âYou made me pancakes, I am eternally grateful!â Ume cheered, sitting down on the chair that was her usual spot.
âYou deserve it. Especially after you passed your test on biology.â (y/n) grinned, his hand sneaking towards his girlfriendsâ unnocupaid hand, intertwining their fingers together.
Ume simply nodded in affirmation, too busy digging into the pancakes, her cheeks stuffed like a hamster stuffing food in its pouches. (Y/n) sighed, a small smile gracing his features.
Heâs really grateful to have a girlfriend as beautiful and hard-working as Ume.

Daki froze up, her body slightly shaking. You noticed that slowly but surely, a red hue made itself noticeable on her face, you chuckled at the unusual sight.
Quickly, she brought her hands over her face, making you pout. âHey, I want to see your beautiful face. Canât see your face whe itâs covered now, can I?â You teased her further, hearing her groan into her hands.
âShut up, youâre such an idiot,â mumbled daki, only making you feel even more accomplished than you should feel.
âMake me.â You cooed, a smirk plastered on your face. Daki uncovered her face, stepping towards you before gripping onto your shirt and giving you a small peck on the lips, face still cherry blossom red.

TW: In detail death and gore
Upon the dark forest, where moonlight dispersed amongst the dense trees, there laid a house. Isolated from civilization was the L/n household in the mountains. The only other house close by was the Kamado household. The forest was a spacious area where three of the L/n children could run and play.
Y/n and his brother and sister would always pretend. Y/n always smiled with his family, never knowing true sorrow. He would pretend to be a monster and scare his two siblings, or be the hero and save them. Y/n would often walk his siblings to the Kamado household, so that his brother and sister could play with the other children.
Y/n would always watch, helping around with Tanjiro and Nezuko. Those two were the h/c haired boyâs closest friends, they knew each other for as long as he could remember. Tanjiro would regularly give Y/n free charcoal as a thanks for helping him. However, Y/n would repay him with the food Y/nâs family sold.
It was a frequent exchange between the two. Y/n grew very close with the other Kamado children as well, babysitting whenever Kei needed a break. She was always so grateful of the boy, the whole family was.
Y/nâs parents would gush about how proud of their son they were and how much of a kind soul he was. Y/n always laughed whenever they did, dismissing it as something not needing such high praise. Y/n was so grateful of his loving family.
But something in him felt grave discomfort. Never did he think this happiness would last. Always in his mind of the dangers and extremities of chaos that could take his family. That could take his happiness away.
Thatâs when the obsession settles in. Always sitting in the shadows on sunny days, and basking in the moonlight that gently beamed down on the boy. Y/n became well acquainted with the darkness that surrounded his home. Never unsettled with the noises that graced the unsettling forest.
Y/n would often catch the presence of shadows and unknown creatures that roamed around. Sometimes he would speak to them, never expecting an answer. Sometimes he would get a response back. Rarely did he ever have full conversations with those that lurked.
To those that conversed with the boy, those shadows, and creatures that responded, they found an odd comfort with him. Even with him being a human, they felt no need to harm him. Y/n showed no fear, and those creatures admired it. Some would talk about him with others.
Y/n became a big name within the community of those shadows, and they would tell the h/c boy. He never understood what they meant, but he felt flattered. Y/n rarely ever slept during the night, feeling the lull of the moon. His parents were concerned with the behavior, and frightened of the voices that talked back.
Y/n softly stepped outside to a small clearing surrounded by all forms of foliage. He sat on the small patch of grass that was graced with small flowers. In his s/c hands, he held a small cup of warm tea. He softly closed his eyes as he took a small sip.
âHello, my darkness friend.â
Silence followed his voice for a moment. There was no response. Y/n softly smiled, not looking up from his cup of tea.
âI know youâre out there. No need to hide from me.â
There was a rustling in the leaves that surrounded the boy. Y/n caught the sound of grumbling. He giggled softly, as the air showed visibly out of his mouth. A voice from the darkness emerged.
âYou caught me again, Mr. Moonlight.â
Y/n softly smiled, staring absently in front of him. He heard the creature that hid itself in the surrounding foliage. It was seemingly closer than before.
âWhat are you doing out again. Couldnât sleep?â
Y/n took another sip of the warm tea, letting the taste linger on his tongue. A sigh followed soon after.
âI think you know the answer.â
The sound of rustling leaves was the only thing that made a sound for a while. A moment of silence soon took over for a moment. The creature spoke up again.
âWould you still talk to me if you knew the truth of my appearance?â
Y/n put the cup down gently on a nearby rock. He felt confusion settle within his mind.
âWhat do you mean, dear darkness friend?â
There was no hesitation for an answer.
âIf I were to walk out of the leaves I shroud myself in, would you scream?â
âWhy would I scream?â
Frustration was clear within the creature's voice as it answered Y/nâs question once more.
âBecause most seem too. Once I emerge from the shadows and eyes fall on me, all I hear is shrieks of fear⊠Then the unbearable silence soon after.â
Y/n smiled solemnly into his lap.
âI donât think there would be any fear if I did see you.â
Rustles from where the creature sat got further from Y/n. Again, Y/n sighed, finishing up the last of his tea. A lonely feeling made itself home within Y/n.
âGoodbye, my darkness friend.â
Y/n stood up, gently holding the empty cup close. Silent steps made their way back to the house surrounded by trees. Y/n gently opened the door, making sure no one was disturbed by his entrance. He stepped in, closing the door behind him.
Y/n softly walked to the kitchen to place the empty cup into the sink. It rested there for him to come back to it later. There was a gentle patter with every step he took. Up the stairs, entering his shared bedroom with his brother.
He looked to the small boy, gently resting on a tatami mat. Minimal moonlight dispersed in the room, making the small boyâs sleeping features more pronounced. Y/n gently smiled at the peaceful sight. Y/n moved to where his tatami mat laid.
He relaxed against it, trying his best to fall asleep. His e/c eyes fixated on the ceiling of the room. Thoughts raced through his head, mostly stuck on the encounter with one of the creatures he had talked to. Curiosity made Y/n restless.
Y/nâs eyelids slowly shut, as the boy was being lulled into sleep. The encounter still swirling in his mind.
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ..
That night was a while ago, many others had made their places within Y/nâs memories. Similar encounters with the creatures that hid themselves from Y/n confused the boy. He never understood what the voices meant when they asked if he would fear them. His family never knew of these encounters.
They only had knowledge that Y/n would sit out in the clearing during the late hours. Many conversations, fueled with concern, were held. Failed attempts of convincing the h/l h/c boy to not go on those late night walks. Even if they were quick to give up, Y/nâs parents still had those conversations with him.
As a way to ease their nerves, and get the boy to actually become tired, Y/nâs parents had him run the stall today. Y/n was quick to rush out the door, excited to finally run the food stall. It was something that he always wanted to do, but his parents never truly let him. At least never on his own.
Y/n hugged his sister and brother goodbye before setting off for the small town down the mountain.Â
His siblings were complaining about not being able to go. He giggled and ruffled his hair. Y/n felt an odd pit in his stomach, something telling him not to leave. Y/n knelt down to his sibling's height, hugging them both.Â
The two gripped Y/n tightly, smiling. Y/n then stood up, hugging his mother tightly. It startled her, unsure why her son would do this. Nonetheless, she gave a receiving hug back.Â
Y/n went off on his way to the small stall with some ingredients and premade dishes in hand. As he descended the mountain, Y/n took in all the surrounding flora. A small white flower stuck out the most to the boy, he kept seeing them along the trail. Y/n made a mental note to pick some on his way home.
After thirty minutes of walking, Y/n made it to the entrance of the village. He continued walking as he waved to everyone around him. He was a kind boy who everyone seemed to go to when they needed extra help. Y/n pulled out a cart from an alley and started the stove simmering some ingredient.Â
Patrons would trickle in to the stall throughout the day. Y/n managed to get a lot done on his own. Once person caught his eyes, however. Y/n put a âcome back laterâ sign up as he walked out, rushing to the person. Y/n yelled out while waving.Â
âTanjiro! Tanjiro!â
The black haired boy turned to look into deep e/c eyes. He smiled gently and braced himself for Y/nâs hug. Y/n gave Tanjiro a big embrace, tight and warm. Tanjro smiled and hugged Y/n back. Once Y/n let go of the boy, he looked around. He noticed Tanjiro was alone.Â
âDid your siblings not join you today?â
Tanjro nodded his head as confirmation to Y/nâs question. He signalled Y/n to follow him as he did his rounds. Y/n skipped next to Tanjiro, feeling so happy to just be in his presence. The dark red eyed boy brought so much calm to Y/n.Â
âMy mother didnât want them distracting me from work. I think she also didnât want more work to be put on me or you if we ended up running into each other.â
Y/n nodded, understanding Tanjiro.Â
âMy mother and father said the same when my siblings wanted to come along too. Hey, if we brought our siblings, they could have kept each other busy.â
Y/n giggled at the idea, thinking it could have kept the children busy. Tanjiro lightly blushed at Y/n, and joining him in the vocal amusement. The two kept walking, conversing about the other's family and how they were doing. Tanjiro brought up Y/nâs sleeping troubles.
âHave you been able to sleep lately? I know last time we talked, you seemed so tired.â
Y/n froze at the question. He dreaded telling Tanjiro what was going on in his nightlife. There was a mix of fear and guilt not telling his best friend. Y/n didnât want to freak Tanjiro out, nor be deemed crazy. Tanjiro stopped, looking back at his h/c friend. He noticed Y/nâs face, seemingly in glazed terror. He panicked and hugged Y/n close. Y/n gripped Tanjiro tightly, muttering things that Tanjiro could barely make out. He gripped Y/nâs face, staring deeply into those e/c eyes.Â
âY/n, whatâs wrong? Did something happen?â
Thatâs when Y/n broke. He decided he was going to tell Tanjiro what had been going on, for better or for worse. He took Tanjiroâs hand and brought him to the food stall. Y/n quickly whipped up some noodles for the two to enjoy as Y/n talked.Â
âI have been hiding this from everyone, even my own family. They know I stay up and go outside at night, but they donât know what I do.â
Tanjiro glanced at Y/n with curiosity filling up his eyes.Â
âWhat do you do?â
Y/n took a deep breath, nervous to share. However, he was determined to have at least one person know what was going on. He couldnât keep hiding it.Â
âI just start talking. I bring a cup of tea with me and I just talk to the darkness. Sometimes there are responses, other times its just be talking. But I always feel something, someone, present. They just listen. Part of me hopes itâs not just me imagining the responses and the feeling of someone there, but another part hopes it is just me out of fear of what's really out there.â
Y/n sighed, trying to think of a way to explain his feelings to Tanjiro. It was just as confusing to him as it would be anyone listening. Y/n continued. Â
âEven with that fear, there's a sense of comfort. A comfort of something protecting me and keeping me safe. Iâm sorry if Iâm not making any sense. I think I just might be crazy. The reason I canât sleep at night though is because of the comfort I find in the moonlight and surrounding darkness. It just feels right to me, and I feel anxious when Iâm not out in that forest for at least thirty minutes. Ah, Iâm just rambling now. Oh, howâs your sister? I havenât seen her in a while.â
Y/n looked up at Tanjiro and became startled with the way he looked at Y/n. It made Y/n want to cry with how concerned his friend looked. Tanjiro put his hands on Y/nâs s/c ones as a way to ease the boy.Â
âI understand what you mean, but I donât think youâre crazy. Whenever you canât sleep, you can just walk over to my house. Just knock three times and Iâll come and answer the door! I can write a letter to your parents, so they can give their opinions about it.â
Y/n hugged Tanjiro once more, feeling tears fall. He felt so grateful to have a friend like him.Â
âThank you so much, Tanjiro.â
Tanjiro smiled once more, shaking his head. He never needed Y/n to thank me. He loved Y/n so much, he didnât know in what way, however. Tanjiro just assumed that it was a way friends would. Y/nâs question then registered n Tanjiroâs mind.Â
âOh, Nezuko is good! She misses you a lot. You should come over and see her!â
Y/n smiled at the thought. Y/n/s eyes drifted to the line now forming in front of the stall. He shot up and muttered a quick apology to his friend. Y/n started cooking once more and serving customers. Tanjiro stood next to the stall, selling the rest of his charcoal.Â
This was another thing the two did. They would sell their good with each other. It made working easier and eased any stress. Once the sun set, Y/n made his way out of the village, with Tanjiro following him.Â
The two said goodbye, and Y/n gave him one last hug. Y/n started trekking the hill, with anxiety settling with in him once more. He passed the white flowers, forgetting to pick them up as panic rushed through his blood. He picked up the pace, running to where his home rested.Â
Y/n smelt an overwhelming smell of iron. His mind raced with the worst case scenarios graphically ingraining themselves in his mind. He struggled to open the door, his hands shaking extensively. The moon was just over the trees, bringing a dim light.
Once the door shot open, Y/nâs eyes widened. He covered his mouth as tears streamed down his s/c face. His mind could barely process what he was seeing. Blood coated the walls and the wooden floor.Â
Y/n softly stepped through the doorway, trying to get a better grasp of what could have happened. That's when he fell to his knees. His mother was bleeding throughout every limb. His little sister was gripping on to her, with a hole where her stomach should be.Â
Deeper in, Y/n could only see his father's body, no head in sight. And under his father's body was his little brother, eyes gouged out of his head. Y/n screamed, and ran outside to his small patch of grass. He fell to his knees on to the grass, trying to dry the overwhelming tears that streamed out of his eyes.
Y/n screamed and sobbed until his voice was hoarse. Y/nâs ears perked up as he heard the familiar rustle of leaves.Â
âWhy are you crying, Mr. Moonlight.âÂ
Y/n tried to speak, but only stutters fell out.Â
âI-Family Dead Why?â
The creature that spoke seemingly understood the broken speech. It felt sympathy and pity for the boy crying.Â
âIt was bound to happen. These forests are full of hungry things.â
Y/nâs crying seemingly slowed, but the tears were still just as overwhelming.Â
âWhat do you mean?â
Y/n was finding it hard to breathe, his chest felt bruised. The creature said one last thing.
âI can not tell you, but I can promise that most wouldnât hurt you. You are famous to us, Mr. Moonlight.â
Y/n was left confused as he heard the creature leaving. Y/n sat for a minute in silence, the moon beaming down on him. It was an angelic scene. Y/n walked back into the house, staring at the dead bodies.Â
He picked up his little sister first, bringing her body out in front of the house. Next was his mother, then his brother, lastly his headless father. He cried as he brought each corpse out of the house. He started to dig appropriate sized holes for each of his family members.Â
Reluctantly, he covered them in dirt, cementing their places under the ground. He held his hands together, digging his nails into his skin. Y/n was trying to contain himself from having a panic attack. Indents in his skin started to form, they turned a deeper color the further he pushed his nails. Y/n then started out a prayer.Â
âTo the world of souls, be it above or below, please let these lost souls move on with the knowledge of being loved throughout their whole life and the fulfillment of what they accomplished. Even with the sins they may have committed, let them be consumed by the warm light that soothes us after death. They did what they could to give love to all and protect who they could. Please let them pass to the heavens above.â
With that, Y/n left the make shift burial site, and walked inside with the strong scent of blood lingering. It made him cry harder than he was before. He slowly started to clean up his house, trying to get rid of the horrid stench. After an hour of cleaning, everything looked seemingly normal.Â
Though, normalcy was forever lost for Y/n. Y/n contemplated going to Tanjiroâs for the night, unsure of the questions he might ask. Y/n wasnât ready to come to terms with the fact that his parents, his whole family, was dead. Y/n took in a shaky breath, stuck in place with uncertainty settling in.Â
He walked to the kitchen to make himself some dinner. He was met with the sight of a finished meal, the last of his mother's cooking. The smell was barely there, but Y/n could feel it was lingering. He contemplated eating the last of what his mother would have ever made for him.
Tears swelled once more. He reluctantly took a seat at the table, examining the food. Y/n made a mark of every detail, etching it into his head as to never forget it. He could see his family surrounding the table with him. He could hear the laughing and the bonding they would have done. Y/n hesitantly plated some food, trying to remember the smell of a warm meal.Â
His hands shook as he took some chopsticks. They hovered over the food for a few seconds, Y/n unsure as to take a bite. He couldn't think of this being the last meal he would ever have that would be made with a mother's love. Y/n took one small bite as tears began to stream down again.Â
He choked back sobs, trying to memorize the taste. Every grain, every molecule, was savored by Y/n. The texture was even put into the illustrated memory he was trying to hold on to. Flashes of his mother holding him when he cried like this only made him feel worse. Other memories started to trickle in and started a remembrance train in Y/n's now broken mind.Â
Ones of his brother teasing him, ones of his sister making sure he was sleeping okay, and ones of his father doing things with Y/n that were special to the two. The specific memory that stuck to Y/n was when his father talked about s sword he used to own. That started Y/n and his father learning how to use them. Y/nâs father was his mentor and he learned quite a bit.
After the food was finished, Y/n couldnât bring himself to clean it up. He stood up on his weak legs, trying to move, but his eyes were fixated on the half-eaten meal. He didnât want to leave the table because once he did, it would mean his family was truly gone. Y/n didnât want to think his family was gone, he wanted it to be a bad dream and that his brother would wake him up, so the two could play.Â
Y/n walked away slowly after ten minutes of staring at the dirty dishes. He walked to the stairs, running up them quickly. He rushed to his room and grabbed his tatami mat and his brother's blanket. He then ran to his sisterâs room and grabbed one of her pillows.Â
After that, his last location was his parent's room, where he placed his tatami mat and the other things he acquired. He took in another shaky breath, now processing the fact that his family was dead, and he was now alone. An empty house with no one else residing in it but himself. He rested his head on the plush pillow, feeling his sister with him.Â
Wrapping himself in his brotherâs blanket, another presence made itself clear to Y/n. And as he drifted off to sleep, he couldnât help but hear his mother singing the same lullaby he would hear when he couldnât sleep. Tears soaked into the pillow he rested on, his body sinking into the blanket that covered him. Silence rattled throughout the dark, lonely home.Â
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ
After a week of living alone, Y/n had adjusted to the new life he was given. It was a struggle in the beginning. Every minute Y/n couldnât stop crying, so many memories never to be recreated ever again. He couldnât even bring himself to tell Tanjiro, but Y/n spent so much time with him. Y/n made even more time to spend with Nezuko.Â
She seemed to notice Y/nâs more saddened state. Nezuko caught on to the amount of time Y/n was spending with the Kamado family, too. Whenever she asked about it, Y/n directed the conversation somewhere else. It concerned the black haired girl, to a point where she cornered Y/n.Â
Behind the house, the two stood in awkward and concerning silence. Y/n was fidgeting with his hands, unsure if he should speak or wait for Nezuko too. Y/n jumped back slightly when he felt Nezuko embrace his shaky hands. The two held eye contact, waiting for the other to speak.
âY/n what's going on? Youâve been acting weird lately. You seem more sad.â
Y/n froze, hearing Nuezkoâs words. He didnât think he was making it that obvious, he was trying to hide his troubled feeling. Y/nâs breathing became irregular, and his heart was beating faster than normal. He sighed, knowing he couldnât bring himself to lie to Nezuko.Â
âSomething happened last week, and I donât know how to say it or even if I want to say it.â
Nezuko seemed confused. She was trying to catch on to what Y/n was saying, but his words were so vague. Concern for Y/n started to bubble up.Â
âWhat happened?â
Y/n felt tears surface his e/c eyes, making them glossy within the sun. He opened his mouth, hoping words would come out, but the only sounds that did was a guttural sob. Y/n fell to his knees, scraping them slightly in the process. The pain caused not reaction out of the boy, due to his mind so focused on the death of his parents.Â
Nezukoâs eyes widened as she knelt down next to Y/n. She hugged him close and started to try to calm the boy down. Y/n buried his head into her shoulder, letting the tears fall once more. Nezuko said soothing things, reminding Y/n of his mother. His cries became harder and louder as he kept listening to Nezuko.Â
âMy parents, my whole family, is gone!â
Nezukoâs face morphed into saddened surprise. She didnât quite know what Y/n was talking about, but based off of how Y/n was reacting, she could tell it was bad. She held Y/n until he calmed down enough to make coherent sentences. Y/n wiped the tears away as he looked into concerned pink eyes.Â
Y/n blushed, feeling so embarrassed about breaking down in front of Nezuko. He tried to stand up, but his legs wobbled, making him almost fall. Nezuko caught Y/n before he could fall. She helped him steady himself, holding Y/nâs hand softly.Â
Nezuko breathed along with Y/n, trying to help him steady his own. Y/n finally felt better, hugging Nezuko, profusely thanking and apologizing to her. Nezuko giggled slightly and hugged Y/n tightly. She finally understood what Y/n might have been talking about.Â
Y/n and Nezuko pulled away from each otherâs embrace. Y/n smiled softy, his eyelids lazily hanging. Nezuko returned a soft, somber smile to Y/n still very worried about him. Y/n sighed deeply.Â
âThank you Nezuko. Iâm sorry if I worried you.â
Nezuko shook her head, her bangs slightly swaying. Once again, her hands held Y/nâs gently. The two shared a moment of now comfortable silence, staring into each otherâs eyes. Y/nâs eyes were saying thanks, and Nezukoâs were full of love.Â
Y/n pulled away from Nezuko, and walked to the front of the house. He waved to the rest of the Kamado family, saying his goodbyes. He was off on his way back to his quiet, empty home. The sad thoughts still ran through his head, one being the fact that he missed when there was a warm meal on the table for him when he got home.Â
Y/n looked at the white flowers that littered the trail. He finally remembered what he wanted to do with them a week later. He picked a few up and held on to them tightly. Some lost their petals because of the tight hold Y/n had on them. The further he trekked on, the closer he was to his home.Â
On the horizon, Y/n saw two figures standing in front of his front door. Y/n ran faster to his house, anxious about these two who were on the doorstep. He analyzed them from the distance he was at, trying to see if they had any weapons on them. One of them did, but it seemed to be sheathed.Â
The two heard fast-paced walking and turned to see where it was coming from. They saw a h/c haired boy with bright e/c eyes. They watched as the boy ran up to them, panting from exhaustion. The one with the weapon, noticed the boy was holding small white flowers.Â
âWhat are you doing here?â
Y/n stumbled back at the black haired boyâs bluntness. He tried to find an answer, but anxiety had already settled in his throat. He didnât know what to say to these two, or what to ask, either. The older man seemed to take notice of Y/nâs feelings, based off the h/c haired boy's stance.Â
âGiyuu, let me handle this. Do you know where residence of this house are?â
Y/n nodded slightly, tears once again brimming. Giyuu, the one Y/n assumed to be the black haired boy, took notice of the slight change of demeanor.Â
Giyuu noticed his in structure going closer to the h/c boy, seemingly understanding the shift in mood. The gray haired man knelt down.Â
âDo you know M/n and F/n L/n?âÂ
Y/n nodded again, trying so hard not to break down just hearing the names of his parents. How many times was the universe going to remind him of what he lost? It felt so unfair to the boy, it made no sense to him. He looked at the man, feeling a bit weirded out by the red mask that covered his face.Â
âTheyâre not here anymore, Iâm sorry.â
Y/n was quiet and timid. He didnât want to explain what happened, not to anyone. The man in the mask waited for Y/n to continue. Giyuu had foiled this mini plan, however.Â
âWhere did they go?â
Y/n didnât like the questioning these people were giving him. He didnât know them, and he didnât want to know them. He wanted them to go away, and just sit alone in his house. He long wished for the voices to be here and comfort him, but alas they were nighttime things and so fickle.Â
Y/n couldnât speak anymore, he pointed a small finger to the makeshift graves of his family. The sight of them just made Y/nâs heartache. He clutched his chest, where his heart laid, tears softly rolling down his plush s/c cheeks. The two in front of Y/n only stared at the graves, not catching on to what Y/n meant.Â
They quickly turned to Y/n, however, after hearing heavy breathing from the boy. Giyuuâs eyes widened in concern, and the older man could only hug Y/n. Y/n couldnât sob, the start of a panic attack was imminent. The man in the mask could only speak to the boy, unsure of what to say to calm him down.
âWhat are those mounds?â
Y/n could only breathe out one word.Â
âFamily.â
That's when it hit the two. Y/n was the only one of this family of this house. M/n and F/n were Y/nâs parents. They could only feel sympathy for the boy, understanding the loss of the parents. Giyuu knelt down to Y/nâs height.Â
âI saw their bodies! They were mutilated! I donât know what happened! I shouldnât have left, I shouldnât have! My brother, my sister. Itâs all my fault!â
Y/n screamed after he said that, the thoughts consuming him. He was becoming irrational, and it showed through the way he was talking. The man wearing the mask could only shake his head in disagreement. Giyuu rubbed Y/nâs back.Â
âIt is not your fault. Itâs better you left, before whatever killed your family killed you.â
Y/n felt a deeper pit in his stomach. Giyuu was right, whatever had killed his family would have killed him. For some reason, this made Y/n feel so much guiltier than he was already. Nothing made sense to Y/n anymore, and the red masked man could sense it.Â
âWhat is your name?â
Y/n looked at the mask, just now realizing how weird it looked. It dispersed a bit of the anxiety he was harboring. Y/n was trying to hold in a giggle as best as he could. Y/n tried to steady himself.
âY/n. My name is Y/n L/n and the last of the L/n family.â
It hurt him having to say that, but he felt it was necessary. Giyuu could see the boy struggling with keeping tears in. He could only sympathize with him, not even able to imagine losing someone so close. Giyuuâs hand slipped into Y/nâs s/c one.Â
Y/n looked into Giyuuâs muddied sapphire blue eyes, getting entranced by the color and intrigue. Y/n then looked the guy with the red mask, realization hitting him. He didnât know this manâs name. He knew Giyuuâs but not knowing this manâs name felt weird, Y/n pointed to him and looked at Giyuu.
âWhatâs his name?â
Giyuu and looked at the guy with the red mask. Both were unable to understand what he was feeling. He just stood there, silence settling in for a moment around the three. He got a bit closer to the two that stood in front of him.Â
âMy name is Sakonji Urokodaki. You can call me Urokodaki. I will be your instructor. Now let's go.â
Y/n looked confused at the two. What did Urokodaki mean by instructor, and for what? Questions swirled around Y/nâs head, making him so dizzy. He looked to Giyuu for answers, hoping he could read his mind.Â
âHe teaches sword skills, and concentration breathing. You will also be coming with us.â
Giyuuâs response only gave Y/n more questions. Y/n felt even more dizzy, not understanding anything what these two were talking about. Y/nâs eyes glanced to the graves. Y/n then looked in his hand to see the semi wilted flowers.Â
The boy walked away from Giyuu, his s/c hand releasing from his. Giyuu watched Y/n walk to the graves he made, soon following the boy. He watched the boy place an even amount of flowers on each grave, delicately. Giyuu looked around to find anything to gift to those passed on.Â
He wondered over to a small patch of small yellow flowers. The color complimented the white ones well. He started placing them down, as Y/n watched him. His heart felt warmed by the action, unsure how to respond.Â
Giyuu stood next to Y/n, his hand back to holding Y/nâs. Y/n didnât understand why Giyuu did this at all. He didnât know his parents, so why give gifts? It made no sense to the boy.Â
âWhy did you do that?â
Giyuu looked to Y/n, staring in to e/c eyes blankly. No emotion could be found within Giyuuâs eyes, at least none that were obvious. He looked back to the mounds, examining the flowers that laid on each one. His face was unfazed.Â
âDo what?â
Y/n looked to the flowers now. Confusion was still constant within the boy. He didnât understand Giyuu at all, and his actions made no sense.Â
âPut flowers on the graves. You didnât know my family, so why do it?â
Giyuuâs gaze didnât waver off of the mounds. It only took a minute for Giyuu to find his answer to Y/nâs question.Â
Y/n became inpatient, curiosity hurting his brain. He didnât like not knowing what other people were thinking.Â
âThey died, thatâs why.â
Giyuuâs tone was flat and blank. Y/n pondered on Giyuuâs response. Urokodaki joined the two, placing a hand on each of their shoulders. The way his head was facing, one would think he was looking at the graves too. He heard the conversation the two were having.Â
âOne doesnât need to have a relationship to the deceased to give respects to them. They simply need a caring and open hearts.â
Y/n looked up, startled by Urokodakiâs sudden presence. He sighed, finally getting an answer that made sense to him. His mind calmed down, his gaze looking at the graves one last time. He looked at both Giyuu and Urokodai again.Â
âI think⊠I think Iâm ready to go.â
Urokodai nodded, turning around, facing the way to his home. Giyuu followed soon after, guiding Y/n. Y/n followed, looking back to his home. Tears slowly brimmed Y/nâs eyes one last time, floating in the wind as he walked away with Giyuu.Â
As the three walked to Urokodakiâs home, Y/n admired the scenery that surrounded them. The deeper they went, the more Y/n realized how little he explored. Y/nâs eyes sparked with wonder and curiosity, he ran a bit further than Giyuu, wanting to see it all. Giyuu softly smiled, seeing how excited the boy was.Â
âYou live all the way out here, Urokodaki?â
Urokodaki only nodded, not saying a word. The closer the three got to Urokodakiâs home, the more excited Y/n felt. It was weird for him to feel this much excitement over something so simple. Giyuu pulled Y/n a little closer, so they could walk side by side.Â
âStay close to me.â
Y/n nodded, feeling a bit on edge with the way Giyuu talked. The forests were getting darker, and the moonlight dispersed itself. The forest grew more eerie, but neither of the three were phased. Well not negatively that is.Â
Giyuu gripped Y/nâs hand, feeling as if the boy would be scared of the dark. It was also for Giyuu's own sake, wanting to keep Y/n safe. Y/n was too caught up in the dark forest and wondering what happened in them. Y/n looked at Giyuu, his smile making the black haired boy a bit flustered.
âDo you hear voices in these woods?â
Giyuu felt confused, what did this h/c haired boy mean? He looked around and tried his best to hear if there were any noises around the group. Silence was all there was, aside from the normal rustling from the wind. Giyuu kept his focus on Urokodaki, his pace slowing.Â
âWhat do you mean Y/n?â
Y/n started frowning, panic and regret making home in his throat. He didn't want to answer truthfully. He didn't want these new people to think of him as someone crazy. A shuddered sigh came out of Y/nâs mouth.Â
âIâŠuhm⊠Sometimes late at night, I hear voices. Well, more, so I talk to the void, and sometimes it talks back.âÂ
Giyuu felt minimal anxiety after hearing what Y/n said. He didnât want to panic the boy, but he looked at Urokodaki. The older man seemed to pick up on what Y/n said, though his pace was still the same. Giyuu could tell though that Urokodaki was concerned. The further they walked, the closer a house seemed to get.
Y/n saw the house on the horizon, curious about what it looked like. The outside presentation felt so familiar to him, it reminded the boy of his own home. Giyuu looked at the child running out of his reach, the absence of Y/nâs hand that once held Giyuuâs. Y/n was the first up the hill, standing in front of the house, feeling sadness grip him once again.Â
Y/nâs body felt heavy, his eyes brimming with tears once more. He felt sick of how sad he got within just today, the amount of breakdowns stuck in his head. Thick tears rolled down his face, heaves holding back the sobs. Giyuu rushed to Y/n, unsure of what might have caused this strong emotional response.Â
Giyuu tried to get Y/nâs attention, Urokodaki not too far behind from the two. Y/nâs mind was enveloped of that night, that moment. The regret swelling up in his stomach, he felt so sick. He couldnât help but blame himself. Nothing in his mind put him at ease.Â
The images of his mother, his father, and both his siblings mutilated now swarming his mind. In his head, he was screaming out, telling the thoughts to stop. The more he screamed in his mind, the more Y/n could feel as if he was saying it. Giyuu and Urokodaki were suddenly panicking when they heard Y/nâs pleas for something to stop.Â
âY/n, what's wrong?â
Giyuuâs question went unanswered, unknown levels of panic became prominent to him. Giyuu didnât know that such a stranger could panic him like this. Urokodaki only watched, unsure on how to help. Y/n fell to his knees, disbelief still strong in his mind.Â
Y/n sobbed loudly, the moonlight causing his tears to gleam. Giyuu only at next to Y/n, letting him cry. He knew there wasnât much he could do, not unless Y/n told him. Urokodaki went to open the door to the house, motivation, and reasoning were unknown to Giyuu.Â
All Giyuu could think was to grab the sobbing boy and carried him inside. He put his hands around Y/nâs neck and kneeâs carrying him into Urokodakiâs home. Y/n looked to Giyuu, finally snapped out of the horrible flashback.Â
Y/n looked around, noticing they were inside the house. The h/l h/c haired boy was confused as to how he got inside, looking all over the place. Y/n then looked at Giyuu noticing the boy was carrying him. Y/n blushed slightly, feeling embarrassed that Giyuu held him so close.Â
âGiyuu, whatâs going on? Why are we inside now?â
Giyuu looked to Y/n, putting him down, so he could walk on his own. Giyuu lead Y/n to where the two of them would be sleeping. Y/n saw the mats and at on one of them, looking to the other one. Giyuu stood in the doorway.Â
âYou were crying.â
Giyuuâs blunt words hurt Y/n a bit. It felt like a bad thing when Giyuu said it. Giyuu noticed Y/n tensing up, wondering why he was. Giyuu moved to the mat next to Y/nâs sitting directly in front of him.Â
âIâm sorry.â
Y/nâs meek voice caused Giyuu to blush slightly. He never heard a voice so sweet before. Curiosity once again graced Giyuu. He didnât understand why Y/n was apologizing.Â
âYou have no need to be sorry.â
Y/n looked directly into Giyuuâs eyes.Â
âBut I was crying, and you had to carry me inside, I canât help but feel like Iâm already burdening you.â
Giyuu only shook his head, disagreeing with Y/nâs conclusion.Â
âYouâre not a burden, you only worried me and I wanted to bring you inside where itâs safer.â
Y/n softly smiled, all anxieties being calmed.Â
He looked around the room, studying every nook and cranny, wanting to get comfortable. Giyuu noticed e/c eyes darting back and forth at a rapid pace. He sat on the other mattress, staring directly at Y/n.
Y/n's eyes stopped darting, fixating on Giyuu. He tried to decipher what Giyuu was thinking, but there was no use in doing so. Giyuu kept his gaze on Y/n both staring into each other's eyes. Y/n started to fidgeting with his fingers, unsure on what to do around the boy in front of him.
âWhat do the voices say and what do they sound like?â
Giyuu's tone was serious, and Y/n was anxious. He didn't know how to answer Giyuuâs question without seeming crazy. Y/n tried to gather his thoughts and memories of all the voices he had heard. Y/n lowered his head.
âThey would ask me what I was doing outside so late. That's how every conversation started. Sometimes they would take interest in things I did that day, or they would ask random questions about what things were. They all sounded different, but there were some regulars. Those were the ones that would always ask me how I was and seem the most interested in my life. It was oddly comforting. Why do you ask?â
Giyuu seemed unfazed, so focused on everything Y/n was sharing with him. Every single word Y/n said, Giyuu had memorized. Y/n got uncomfortable with the silence. He was unsure if he should continue talking or if he should wait for Giyuu to respond. Before Giyuu could open his mouth, Urokodaki walked in.
âDinner's ready. Y/n I'll find a change of clothes for you.â
Y/n quickly nodded, not wanting to seem disrespectful to Urokodaki. Y/n stood up and walked out of the room, Giyuu following close behind. The aroma of the dishes made Y/n's mouth water. He quickly sat down, grasping his hands together for a silent prayer. Once the food hit Y/nâs tastes buds, it sent him to other worlds of flavors.
The feeling of a warm home cooked meal made Y/n feel so loved. Even if it was from a stranger, it felt nice to have warm food waiting for him. Giyuu watched Y/n, noticing his expressions brighten with every bite he took. Giyuu started to eat slower than Y/n.Â
After the two finished their meal, Urokodaki came out with some spare clothes for Y/n. The boy graciously took them, thanking Urokodaki every other second. Once Y/n changed, he sat on the mattress waiting for Giyuu to enter. Said boy walked in, changed from what he was wearing earlier into more suitable night ware.Â
The two ended up falling asleep, Urokodaki blowing out all the candles to bring a darkened atmosphere to the house. Giyuu stayed up a bit, just to make sure Y/n felt safe enough to fall asleep. As soon as he heard Y/n snoring softly, Giyuu went to bed.Â
After a few hours, Y/n woke up as if his body was begging him too. He looked around, a sleeping Giyuu catching his eye. Y/n softly got up, walked out of the room, and out of the house to see the darkness of night. He walked a little further, closer to the trees, to see if he heard any voices like his old home. Y/n started to mumble to himself, in hopes of the voices to come back and talk to him once more.Â
The more Y/n mumbled to himself, the more crazy he felt for not getting a response. It had been a couple of minutes of him being out in the freezing cold, acting like a lunatic. He was so caught up in his own thoughts and words that he didnât hear someone walk behind him. Y/n jumped back becoming startled when he felt a hand on his back.Â
Y/nâs heart was beating so fast, he brought a hand to his chest, trying to calm himself down. E/c eyes looked up to see who had startled him, little hope, thinking it was his family coming to take him home out of the lingering denial he has of their death. Y/nâs eyes dimmed when he saw it wasnât his family, but Giyuu. Giyuu looked at Y/n with slight concern, unsure on what to do to help calm the boy down.Â
âWhat are you doing out here?â
Y/n stiffened at Giyuuâs voice, something about it made him feel safe, which was odd to him. He took a minute to gather himself to not stutter or mess up his response.Â
âI couldnât sleep, it's an issue Iâve been having for a while. Back home, Iâd just sit out during the night and talk to myself. You remember those voices I talked about? Those are what I was hoping to get a response from.â
Y/nâs head lowered, still missing his home and fearful of what Giyuu would say. What he didnât expect was Giyuu hugging him. That was Giyuuâs only response, and he didnât know why he did that himself. Y/n melted in Giyuuâs grasp, tears softly streaming down his face.Â
Giyuu led Y/n to a rock form, seemingly resembling a table and chairs. The two sat down on the rocks and Y/n's tears stopped. The familiarity of sitting around the darkness and being surrounded by trees brought a soft smile to his face. Giyuu blushed lightly, wanting to see Y/n only ever smile like that especially what happened to him.Â
âI promise Y/n, I will protect you from any sadness.â
Y/n looked up, startled, and blushed. He didnât know how to respond or what Giyuu meant. The two sat there in comfortable silence for the most part. Giyuu contemplated telling Y/n what he has been thinking about all night. Deep down, he knew the right answer.Â
âY/n, I have something to tell you.â
Y/n looked at him curiously, something telling him that what Giyuu was going to share wasnât going to be happy. Y/n waited impatient for Giyuu to tell him what he needed too. Giyuu noticed Y/nâs impatience. He went on to explain what he needed to Y/n.
âThose voices you were taking to were demons.â
Y/n was confused. Heâs heard of the creatures others called demons, but he only ever thought them to be tales to keep kids to behave. And if those voices were demons, why didnât they kill him? Based off the stories he had heard from the towns folk, they should have killed him.Â
âDemons? What are they exactly?â
Giyuu was shocked that Y/n didnât know what demons were. The usual reaction others had when they heard the talk of demons were fear. But this boy in front of him not know of demons, but he held no fear in his voice when he asked. Y/n confused Giyuu more ways than one in just one night.Â
âThey are human eating creatures. And they must be slain.â
Y/n became scared after hearing those last few words. He didnât want to hurt the voices, even if they were demons. The brought so much comfort to him, they were like a family. Y/n looked down again, his mind was swimming with swarming thoughts.Â
Giyuu noticed Y/n becoming uncomfortable at the thought of slaying demons. He didnât quite understand why, however. He thought it was a demon that killed Y/nâs family. So why was Y/n uncomfortable with the thought of slaying demons?
âWhatâs wrong Y/n?â
Y/n was startled once more, jumping back slightly on the make shift chair. He struggled to make eye contact with Giyuu. He wanted to explain the issue of his feelings, but no words were coming to his mind. Luckily, Giyuu found those words for Y/n.Â
âYouâre struggling with the thought of killing demons, arenât you.â
Y/n looked up to meet Giyuuâs eyes. He nodded quickly, his h/c hair bobbing with the motion, which Giyuu found cute. Thanks to the Giyuu, Y/n was prompted to put his thoughts into a cohesive line. Y/n sighed, still anxious to share how we felt.Â
âI know that they hurt others, but if those voices were demons, then I canât bring myself to kill them. I mean, if they're strangers and I havenât talked to them then Iâm sure I could, but still. They brought a comfort to me that even my own family couldnât.â
Giyuu nodded, his suspicions were confirmed after what Y/n said. He needed to think of something to say that wouldnât upset Y/n but make Y/n realize his thinking was dangerous. Giyuu felt something grab his hand, and gently rub it. Giyuu looked in Y/nâs direction, meeting e/c eyes full of softness.Â
âI understand that my view on demons may be harmful to me and maybe even deadly, but I have hope that no demon will hurt me.â
Giyuuâs eyes held seriousness. He didnât want Y/n to die, not to something that he knows he can protect the boy from. It made sense in his mind why Y/n would think that way, but it still deeply worried him. Giyuu asked one last question, in hopes of at least bringing acknowledgment to the boy that sat in front of him.Â
âDo you know what killed your parents? Your family?â
Y/n shook his head, tears brimmed in his eyes. His familyâs death was still a sensitive wound. Y/nâs breathing became shaky and Giyuu noticed. He grasped both s/c hands to try and sooth the boy.Â
âThe possible cause of death is demons.â
Y/nâs eyes widened, but a wave of realization hit. It was strong and it scared Y/n. His thoughts were spiraling once more, no sign of breaking away from them. He started to hyperventilate once more. Giyuu hugged Y/n close, over the table like rock.Â
Giyuu hugged Y/n until the boyâs eyes were dry of tears. Once Y/n calmed down, his eyes fluttered shut due to drowsiness replacing the sadness. His sleepy head hit Giyuuâs shoulder, soft short breaths hit Giyuuâs cheek. Giyuu blushed, a soft pink gracing where Y/nâs breath hit.Â
Giyuu held Y/n up so that he could walk around the rock and pick up the boy. He carried Y/n bridal style, as quietly as he could. Y/n nuzzled into Giyuuâs chest, making Giyuu blush once more. He didnât know why he felt so close to the boy or the urge to protect him having just met him.Â
Giyuu quietly brought the boy back to the room they shared, bringing the covers up ever so gently. Something in him wanted to kiss the boyâs forehead. He brushed Y/nâs h/c hair aside and gently planted a soft kiss on his forehead. Y/n softly smiled in his sleep after the kiss, and Giyuu softly smiled too.Â
Giyuu walked to his bed, the smile still on his face. His cheeks were warm, still flustered with Y/nâs presence. As Giyuu drifted off to sleep, he made a vow to himself. That vow was to protect Y/n at all costs, from both the demons that roam the earth and otherâs that may want to harm the boy.

Wattpad chapter
Tanjiro spent his time talking to Kyojuro about the hinokami kagura while his friends sat on the nearby train seats talking to each other.Â
Y/n POV
âIâm definitely third wheeling right now Rengoku is talking to Kamado and his friends are talking to each otherâ, Agatsuma was sitting next to the box where the sister of the Kamado kid is resting, It would be interesting to analyse her, since our contacts affirmed that she has never eaten a single human, itâs not the first time that we have seen a demon refusing to harm humans and even die because of starvation, but the most intriguing part is that she has developed a blood demon art, something that would only happen in a demon has already consumed blood, her case is surely something I would like to look into.
But itâs not the time for that, I was sent to hunt down the demon and protect the people on the train. After all of this I could track Kamado down and ask him to let me run some tests on his sister. I doubt he would let me do it, considering he doesnât know me and he doesnât know that I know about her.
TANJIRO KAMADOâS POV
âSomething felt wrong about L/n-san, the smell of sadness and lies, maybe he lied to us about something he said?â
I donât want to assume that he lied on purpose, maybe heâs nervous about us being demon slayers, with exposed weapons and talking about demons.
Something in his eyes didn't match with his smell. He looked relaxed and kind but they didnât feel like that, they looked like they were analysing every inch of each one of us, even for Nezuko everytime he looked at her box, I never mentioned her and she was sleeping. How would he know she was there?
I shouldnât assume anything about him! I barely know him and Rengoku-san seems to trust him so I should do as well!
3rd PERSON POV
Y/n got up from his seat and grabbed the case that he stored his katana in, all the slayers were relaxed and he couldnât sense a demonic presence around the cart.
âI better look around for the demon while they are distracted, as soon as itâs dead, I can leave this placeâ
âPardon me for interrupting your conversation, Rengoku-san, Iâll be going now to find another seat, enjoy the rideâ Y/n winked at the hashira and began to walk to the front carts, going to the back carts would be troublesome since the conductor would be checking the tickers by then and he would be forced to sit and wait.
Y/n walked quickly till he reached the part that connected two carts, the fresh air from the night was freezing. He jumped to the roof, it would be easier to set his katana there instead of a cart.
After getting his weapon out and throwing the case on the nearby rice field, he sat down on the roof and began to concentrate. A demon moon was on the train, hiding somewhere and killing people. To reach that level it should have at least eaten 50 humans or a marechi but would it attack knowing thereâs a hashira on board?
âLetâs see what you are made of, demonâ. The sheath of his katana rested on the belt of the hakama while the blood red weapon rested on his right hand.
Meanwhile, with the demon slayers, the tickets had been punched and the conductor stared at the empty seat âThere was a man sitting here, where is he?â his voice sounded tired and annoyed.Â
âWe donât know, He left a moment ago, he said he would set his luggage on the right cartâ Zenitsu spoke as the train conductor punched his ticket, maybe F/n-san went to take air or to get away from them, they were not someone a normal person would interact with if given the change after all, especially Inosuke and The Rengoku guy.
As the conductor walked out of the cart, the train shook violently
It was coming from the roofs of the carts, as if an earthquake had shaken the entire place at the same time.
âEHHHH, what was that sound???â Zenitsu grabbed onto Tanjiroâs haori as Inosuke got his head out of the window to look outside. âInosuke, get back here you can fall!â Tanjiro raised his voice as he tried to free himself from Zenitsuâs hold
âSOMETHING IS ON THE TRA-â Kyojuro grabbed Inosuke by the pants and stopped him from falling out, the front of his mask was covered in blood, Zenitsu stopped for a moment while Tanjiro stared at his friend.
âBlood? Did someone get hurt?â Zenitsu looked at Inosuke and began to cry and shield himself behind Tanjiro while Kyojuro stayed silent analysing the blood that covered Inosuke before shouting âYoung blonde, This is demon blood!! And itâs turning to dust, so someone or something must have killed it!â The flame hashira looked at the younger slayers âDid someone else come with you?â His smile never faded even when they could sense some form of surprise from his words.
The three looked at each other while saying no with their heads, they didnât remember any slayer getting on the train with them, and they didnât see anyone carrying a weapon. âI donât remember anyone that got on the train with a weapon except usâ Tanjiro tried to remember anyone suspicious while they ran to get on the train but he couldnât recall anyone at all.
âThat guy, the one sitting with you surely looked suspicious, but he wasnât carrying a weaponâ Zenitsu stared at Kyojuro while he sat down, trying to remember what L/n-sanâs sound was like, it wasnât like anything he had heard before.
Just as they were thinking, Y/n returned to the cart and sat and stared at them âMay I ask why is Hashibira-kun covered in blood?, is he ok?â The slayers stared at Y/n, somehow he had changed his clothes, from head to toe in that little frame of time.
âHeâs ok L/n-san! Are you ok?â Kyojuro took a look at Y/n as he placed his hand on the other manâs shoulder, âYes Rengoku-san, Iâm fine, I just needed to place my bags on the right cart, do not worryâÂ
Y/n placed his hand on top of Kyojuroâs as he grabbed it and squeezed on his âYou are very caring Rengoku-sanâ
And with that small gesture, the flame hashira was being engulfed in flames (ironic, isnât it?), his entire body felt hotter than normal and he felt his face getting redder by the second.
Interrupting the moment between the two men, Inosuke walked up to Y/n and began to shout âWHO ARE YOU TRYING TO ATTRACT WITH YOUR FUR? YOU FANCY FOXâ he pointed his finger at the man as Y/n looked at the boar boy with a confused expression âHashibira-san, I assure you Iâm not a fox, nor am I trying to attract anybody on this trainâ He closed his eyes and laughed softly at the kid, Tanjiro smelled annoyance coming off the man, like Inosuke had said something one shouldnât even think about, âInosuke, didnât you say that you wanted to look at the rice fields? Come hereâ Zenitsu grabbed Inosuke and got his attention to the nearby window. He looked back at Tanjiro âZenitsu may be a coward but that look wasnât good, itâs almost like heâs nervous, frightened even, was it because L/n-san?â
âI see you came back sir, let me see your ticketâ Y/n looked at the man up and down and gave him the ticket he had gotten at the station.
Y/nâs POV
He either doesnât get any sleep or he wants to kill himself, probably both.
He gave me back my ticket and I put it on one of the inner pockets of my kimono, the man left and I looked back at Rengoku, he had a serious look on his space while staring at the box where Kamadoâs sister was, with a quick glance he turned around, he was throwing daggers at my soul âL/N-san!, did you happen to see or hear anything while you were away?â
âShit, does he suspect something?â
âOther than the slight tremble? I donât think so Rengoku-san, did something happen while I was gone?â I said while looking concerned, I looked back at the boar boy and the kamado kid, more specifically at their weapons âIs there a demon here?â Faking your personality is one thing, managing it to make it believable is another.
They donât suspect anything, and if they do, they donât have any solid argument to confront me with, they cannot see my Katana, I donât reek of blood either.
Evading the fact that I made the train almost derail because of a technique, everything else should still be covering me up. (Donât blame me, reader. I wanted to be flashy.)
âNo, nothing happened, you are not to worry, I would prefer if you stayed close to me right now, L/n-san!â Rengoku was quick to sit next to me and put his arm around my shoulders, clearly this guy hasnât even kissed someone beforeâŠ
âoh, I see, do not worry, I will stay close to you, Rengoku-sanâ If I had a coin for every lie I have told tonight, I would have enough to buy a house.
A while later my eyes felt heavy, I looked around and The slayer kids were deep in sleep, Rengoku was falling asleep on my shoulder, did I rest enough last night?Â
I shouldnât close my eyesâŠ
My mission is to find the moon demon and kill it
 I cannot close my eyesâŠ
3RD PERSON POV
Enmu stood on top of the train, he let out a shaky breath as he touched his face, âThey are deep in sleep now, to be able to die while dying, how lucky they are, no matter if they are slayers or hunters, doesnât matter how strong they are, a humanâs driving force is the heart and their souls, now they just have to shatter itâ
The sleep demon spun around and continued to talk âthey are so weak, so fragile, just like dolls, thank you lord Muzan for this wonderful opportunity~â
The small children made their way to the slayers that were asleep, they had heard that there was a change of plans from the demon, who has now beside them walking slowly, âYou see, I didnât take into account the new one travelling with them, you donât need to worry, I will destroy his coreâ
âDo not fail me, I will grant you sweet dreams if you follow my orders, remember what I told you~â Enmu helped each kid to tie the rope to their wrists and he took Y/n onto his arms and walked away
âLetâs see how you figured out about the decoy I sent~â He planted the hunterâs body down on one of the empty carts as he closed the entrance with his own flesh.
Y/nâs POV
Ok, maybe sleeping for a while isnât that bad, and whatâs better itâs that itâs a blank void all around, thatâs a small benefit of not being able to dream at all, I can control anything that comes and goes into this place.
Letâs begin with a mountain, and a waterfall with some trees here and there, grass and flowers, moon high up in the sky, wisteria and jacaranda trees swaying with the wind.
balanced as everything should be.
But, something is walking around
Someone is trying to figure out why things are moving.
Where is that pesky demon hiding?
Enmuâs POV
Ehh~, Something is wrong with this place, it changes as soon as I move, as if the person was controlling everything, my blood demon art should have disabled it~
Iâll make my way to the edge of the dream and destroy the core, it wonât be difficult, Iâve done it so many times that itâs childâs play for me~
10 minutes of walking
Ok, this place is definitely weird, being concentrated in fusing my body with the train while working on finding the edge of this dream is a painâŠ
This is frustrating, even more than dealing with slayers in the real world, this place is non ending, and when I finally find a place close to the edge, it moves away just as quickly, it is as if someone is moving the dream all along.
Wait, why is the floor trembling?-
âHey there my darling demon, how are you doing?~â someone got their hands on my shoulders, I tried to move away from them but I cannot, I cannot move.
I tried to get off the dream but something is preventing me from doing so, no
Not something, itâs-
âWhy are you trying to run away from me? That hurts Enmu~â how does he know my name?.
I could hear heels moving, and then I saw him, a full on demon, a kitsune standing in front of me, slits for pupils, long nails, tail and ears, that wasnât a human.
âEnmu~ I want to show you something, Iâll close your eyes for a minute~â He covered my eyes and I felt everything shifting, I felt sick.
3RD PERSON POV
When Y/n uncovered Enmuâs eyes, he could see thousands, if not millions of miles of blue spider lilies, just the flower lord Muzan was looking for, there, on this hunterâs dream âfunny, isnât it?, the flower is here, you will never reach it though, you can stare at it as much as you wantâ In a second, he felt his body getting strung, his limbs hurt and he was drowning, âYou never try to mess with my missions, This place and what you saw will be our little secret, right Enmu?~â Y/n left a soft peck on the demonâs lips as blood continued to flood the whole dream.
And Y/n opened his eyes.
âThis is so absurd, a sleep demon captured in my dream and the slayers are sleeping, I better find the main body so I can go back homeâ Y/n shook his head as he looked for his katana, it was thrown off to the side, he picked up and began to walk back to the cart.
The whole train was filled with flesh tendons covering the passengers, whenever they tried to attract Y/n, he would attack back and free the people, maybe Enmu was still somewhat conscious and trying to stop him.
When Y/n arrived at the cart where the slayers were, he closed the door behind him and pointed his katana at the demon girl kneeling in front of the kamado kid, âNezuko Kamado right?, Iâm not gonna hurt you, have you seen the demon that caused all this mess?â She backed off and opened her arms to protect her brother, Y/n kneeled at her level and began to speak âIâm not gonna hurt any human here, I donât have any intention of hurting you either, I just need to know if you have seen the demonâ.
She shook her head as she pointed to the rope on her brotherâs wrist, âYou want me to help you brother right?â and she nodded, âI donât think cutting the rope will help them, we have to be cautious with blood demon arts yâknow?â Nezuko looked at her brother and tried to shake him to wake Tanjiro up.
âIâll look for the demon, you stay here and take care of them, Nezukoâ Y/n gave her a head pad and began to walk back to the front of the train, the back of the train had less people than the front, if a demon were to eat, they would begin eating, it would be were most people were.
At the union from cart to cart, Y/n jumped to the roof of the train and saw Enmu on the front. âHow nice, you escaped my mind, how was it, Enmu?â the demon turned around and began to laugh, âAhh~, you are not a common human, are you, Hunter? It was a clever idea to try and trap me in your dream, but going back to check on the slayers was a mistake, was it not?~â Enmu laughed as he began to rise his hand âYou are going to have a not so pleasant dream for doing what you did~â
âBlood demon art: Whispers of forced unconscious hypnosis, now go back to sleep~âÂ
âBlood breathing: Second Form: Decadence Needleâ Y/n dashed across the roofs of the carts and stabbed Enmu on the chest where his heart would be, then made a vertical cut to sever the arm where the mouth was, Enmu backed off while regenerating his arm, âToo slow, how did you become a lower moon with that speed?â The hunter scoffed at the demon.
Until a finger touched his shoulder âBehind you~â With a click, Y/n fell asleep and fell off of the roof, âIt was fun while it lasted, little hunter~â Enmu turned around and went back to breathing deeply âThe air of the night feels lighter, itâs a perfect night to die while peacefully dreaming~â
Enmu breathed deeply till he felt sick, like air had been pulled from out of his lungs, his face began to crack and fall apart âI see, I see~â the demon fell onto his knees and began to choke on the air, âArenât you full of tricks, little hunter?~â
Tanjiro stared at the demon who was on his knees while coughing, the stench that reeked of the ticket led him to the roofs to find it, Enmu turned around and began to talk while regenerating his jaw, âWhat? Youâre awake as well, you caught me while regenerating, why donât you go back to sleep?~â
âWhy did you wake up? That little friend of yours had a good shot to behead me but he fell, were you not satisfied with the dream I showed you?â Enmu got up and began to stare at Tanjiro, his face looked like tiny cracks were forming from his neck, âLetâs see~ Next time Iâll show you a dream where your dad comes back to life, that would be nice, wouldnât it?~â Tanjiro clenched his face and began to breathe slowly, he had seen the eyes of the demon, it was a lower moon, lower moon 1 nonetheless.
The fight was heated, Tanjiro killed himself over and over in order to escape the blood demon art while Enmu dodged his way out of every attack, âEven in the middle of a dream, itâs incredible, to take his own life with his own hands, that takes incredible will power, this brat is insane!â
While those two were fighting, Y/n climbed to the roofs once again, that cursed demon made him fall asleep in the middle of a fight, he readied his katana once more, âBlood breathing:Fifth Form: Annihilation Typhoonâ With exploding force, Y/n dashed forward while holding his katana ready to cut the demonâs head, the body of the kid was about to fall and he needed to grab him and behead the demon at the same time.
With a single slash, Enmuâs head had fallen to the side while Y/n grabbed Tanjiro and covered him with his body. âThank you for holding him off while I woke up, kidâ Tanjiro was on his knees looking at Y/n, it was like the man was a different person, shielding him while being ready to fight the demon, âLetâs not talk about this, Letâs defeat this thing and go our separate waysâ Tanjiro nodded and readied his sword, âThis is not over yetâ.
âI can totally see why he ordered me to kill you, the boy with the earrings, along with the hashira, but the hunter messed up my plans, you both couldnât be more irritating, you know!~â From Enmuâs head, a thick mass of flesh formed around the cart, it was disgusting âHowâs he alive?! You severed his head off!â Tanjiro was appalled by the side, a demon holding head back together after cutting it off?Â
âDemon moons are powerful, never trust that they will die that easily, kidâ Y/n shielded Tanjiro while Enmu spoke âI fused my whole body with this train while everyone was sleeping, that body is nothing but a mere decoy, itâs the same with this head, in other words, Iâm going to devour every single person on this train, they are both my meal and my hostages~â Y/n snickered and ran towards the head âBlood breathing:Third Form: Withering Blossomâ When it was about to strike, Enmuâs head was gone, back to the train.
With a single scuff, Y/n began to walk back to Tanjiro, the kid was looking at the floor with a concerned expression âGo wake up your friends and the hashira, Iâll take care of the demonâ The hunter jumped back to the carts while Tanjiro followed him âThank you for saving me back there, are you sure you can handle the demon, F/n-san?!â Y/n just nodded and began to walk to the front of the train, leaving Tanjiro alone on the roofs, soon after Inosuke punched the roof and joined him âFollow me, damn minions alright!, Lord Inosukeâs cominâ through!â Inosuke jumped back to the cart âBeast breathing: Fifth Fang: Crazy cutting!â
While Tanjiro and Inosuke defended the middle carts, Zenitsu managed to wake up to defend Nezuko, Y/n was making his way towards the front of the train while defending the sleeping passengers âThis demon is sure annoying, intelligent but annoyingâ The hunter stuck one of the needles on the flesh and retrieved it âHe has a lot of that manâs blood, makes sense considering the situationâ
Something shook the entire train, Tanjiro was on the floor holding himself âWhat was that?! A demon attack?â, âYOUNG KAMADO! I was pretty thorough while slashing my way here, it should the demon a while to regenerate, Iâll try to keep it short, The train has eight cars in total, Iâll protect the five on the back, the yellow kid and your sister will take care of the rest, you and the boar kid will look for the head and keep an eye on those three cars!â Tanjiro looked at Kyojuro with a shocked expression, âA head?, but-â, âDonât forget that every demon has a head, it doesnât matter which form they assume, Iâll look for the head as well, I want you to show me how great of a slayer you are!â, âWAIT, RENGOKU-SAN TH-â Tanjiro couldnât finish the sentence because Kyojuro was long gone, that was some impressive speed, just like F/n-san!
Was F/n-san a hashira as well? The man looked way more experienced than him or his friends, the way he moved made him remember Tomioka-san, even the calmness while killing the demon was unfazed, they both were so impressive!
Y/n had found the front of the train, and the man who was guarding it, the demonâs head had to be there, otherwise it would be covered with meat like the rest of the train. âMove, I donât intend to harm you but, if you donât move, Iâll murder you right hereâ His words were cold while he stared at that man who refused to acknowledge him. âBlood breathing:First Form: Scarlet Slashâ The attack uncovered the neck bone of Enmu, who was trying to regenerate and cover that spot âBlood breathing:Sixth Form: Crimson Waltzâ every tendril was decaying as Y/n slashed them, the blood mixed with poison made the regeneration slower, making it easier to behead the demon, when he was about to perform another blood breathing technique, Inosuke and Tanjiro jumped in the cart and began to aid him âINOSUKE, DEFEND HIM WHILE HE CUTS THE NECKâ, âWHO ARE YOU TO SAY ORDERS TO THE GREAT LORD INOSUKE, EHHH GOMPANCHIRO?!â.
While they defended the cart, The conductor made his way towards Inosuke and was about to stab him, Tanjiro ran as fast as he could, taking the hit for his friend while knocking out the man.
Both the demon slayers and the conductor were lifted on the air, they continued to fight while Y/n cut tendril after tendril to sever the neck bone, uncovering it while the poison made it hard for Enmu to regenerate.
âBlood breathing:First Form: Scarlet Slashâ With a swift cut, he had severed the demonâs neck and it began to derail, Enmu tried his best to regenerate his neck and eat the passengers as fast as he could with minimal result âFuck, this place is going to collapseâŠâ The hunter jumped to grab the slayers and braced himself to the train in order to not fly away âGRAB YOURSELVES LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON ITâ Tanjiro hugged his chest while Inosuke grabbed onto Tanjiro âWAIT, WHO IS THIS MAN, GOMPANCHIRO?!â
The train had derailed and the carts were a mess, Y/n placed Tanjiro on the floor as he began to look for people that were injured near the front of the train.
âYouâre still alive huh?, disintegrating slowly, dying slowlyâ Y/n stomped what remained of Enmu with this Sandal âYou are worth nothing, go to hell and redeem yourself, say hi to Kibutsuji while you do.â Those eyes looked back at the man who had killed him, looking down like he was staring at the lowest trash one could imagine âTHAT FLOWER, HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THA-â Y/N only stared back at Enmu as he disintegrated.
Meanwhile Tanjiro was resting on the floor while Kyojuro stared at him âIMPRESSIVE, impressive!â, âConstant is the first step to becoming a hashira! There are another 10000 steps to become one after that one!â Tanjiro stared right back at the man. âYou have to concentrate harder and improve the precision of your breathing. There's a blood vessel, a torn one, concentrate harder and find it!, stanch it and stop the bleeding, Focus!â
Tanjiro was in pain, a lot of pain, while the hashira tended to him and explained to him about constant breathing and how it helped in every situation one could imagine.
They continued to talk about the people till the earth shook, Y/n felt a cold sweat form on his neck as he ran towards both the slayers, Kyojuro turned around when he felt the presence, a horrid and blood thirsty presence.
Y/n saw it, he saw his eyes, an upper moon was there, staring at the hashira, Kyojuro had his hand around the Tsuka of his sword, ready to unleash an attack. He murmured under his breath âDamn him, an upper moon now?...â Y/n readied his own sword and waited for any of the two to attack, the upper moon hadnât seen him yet, so he had an advantage over it.
When the upper moon was about to strike Tanjiro, Rengoku readied his sword and prepared himself to strike back-Â
âBlood breathing:Fifth Form: Annihilation Typhoonâ Y/n had run in front of the hashira and stabbed the upper moon, driving him away from the two slayers, Kyojuro stared at the man while Y/n kept his eyes on the demon, ready to attack once againÂ
The attack had moved the upper moon a good distance âThatâs a sharp Katanaâ He licked the blood that remained after Y/n managed to cut his entire arm off.
Kyojuro stared at the hunter âWho are you?â Tanjiro could see the shock on the hashiraâs eyes, the speed was impressive, he didnât even see when F/n-san had cut in front of them.
Y/n didnât even look at Kyojuro, instead he stared daggers at the demon âIf you want to harm anyone here, you will do so over my dead body.â His words were covered in ice âWhy go for the injured one if you had a hashira in front of you?â
The upper moon giggled âI wasnât aiming for you, yet you managed to protect both the hashira and that kid, you are quick, arenât you?âÂ
Y/n continued to stare at the demon âThank you for the compliment, but that doesnât answer my question.â The hunter saw Kyojuro and the Kamado kid who he was protecting, battling an upper moon while protecting two people would be a challenge.
âYouâre welcome, You see, I loathe weak humans, the sight of a weakling makes my skin crawlâ The upper moon said with a smile, he had never stopped smiling
âAnd you wanted to dispose of the injured one I see, so he wouldnât interrupt you while you fought someone you deemed strong?â The hunter's words were cold, without emotion as he kept his eyes on the demon, waiting for it to attack.
âYouâre right, well you see, I have a brilliant proposal for you, why donât you become a demon, just like meâ
âNo, thank youâ
âI can tell your strength with only looking at you, my original plan was to offer it to the hashira you are protecting, but you are way more polished than he is, your fighting spirit has been honed to the hilt, itâs almost blinding to look at, perhaps you are a hashira as well?â His eyes were locked on Y/n body as he spoke back
âMy name is L/n Y/n, Iâm the Lord of blood, Iâm not a hashira.â Y/n words were covered in poison as he said the word hashira. Kyojuro and Tanjiro stared at the man who had lied about his name, who was now talking to an upper moon in front of them.
If he had lied about something as precious as oneâs name, what else was a lie?
âThe nameâs Akaza, Y/n. Let me tell you why you canât enter the realm of the highestâ The demon cracked his knuckles
âYou are a human, you are going to age and then you are going to die, Become a demon Y/nâ Akaza offered his hand to Y/n as he continued to spoke âDo that and you can train for a hundreds of years, you will become stronger that you are right nowâ
Rengoku interrupted him âYou are wrong, Both growing old and dying are part of the beauty of being an ephemeral creature like humans, the fact that we age and die are what makes humans life so unbearably precious and noble, Strength isnât a word just used to describe the body, the boy isnât weak, donât insult him!â
Y/n flashed a smile at Kyojuro and giggled while returning to look at Akaza âI couldnât have said it better, thank you for the words Kyojuro but, This is between me and Akazaâ
âIâll have to reject your offer, Iâm sorry!â
âI seeâ
âTechnique Development: Destructive Death: Compass Needle!â
The earth shook as the three men looked at the demon, a huge snowflake began to appear under him. âThis isnât going to be easyâŠâ
âif you donât want to become a demon,
Then die.â
Akaza ran towards Y/n as he looked at the upper moon and counter attacked every hit with his sword, their speed was impressive, Tanjiro and Kyojuro were in shock as they saw the flashes of blue and deep crimson, The young slayer couldnât see even their forms while Rengoku found it difficult to see the details.
âThere were never any Lords Among the people Iâve killed, Nor have I seen any blood breathing user until now, no one took me up on my offer, either!â Akaza was talking while Y/n focused on defending the slayers and trying not to die.
âWhy do you think that is? Y/n?â The hunter didnât say anything and continued to stare at the demon with a blank expression. âAs a fellow martial artist, I donât get it!!â Y/nâs sword was against Akazaâs arm, stopping him from harming him.
âShould I harm the hashira to make you accept my offer? You seem quite fond of himâ Akazaâs arm was sliced off as Y/n kicked him to make space between them.
âI SAID IT, YOU ARE GOING TO HARM HIM OVER MY DEAD BODYâ Y/n ran towards Akaza and dived under the demon to kick him on the air
âDestructive Death: Air typeâ With a punch on the air, Y/n had taken the hit on his ribs as he covered his face with the blade, every punch was aimed towards his ribs and head, trying to end him.
âThis guy surely is strong, damnâ Y/n readied his sword as he breathed in, âBlood breathing:Seventh Form: Blood Frenzyâ With every punch, Y/n took impulse and dashed toward Akaza, covering the hits with his Katana.
âI have to cover or to attack back, heâs really fastâ Y/n thought as he continued to dash from the attacks to try and get closer to Akaza âI have to get close or I wonât be able to get close to beheading him, and I have to protect the kid and Kyojuro as wellâ
âBlood breathing:Second Form: Decadence Needleâ Y/n had managed to get close enough to stab Akaza on the neck from Below, making him jump and retreat.
âThey are so fast, I cannot keep up with them!â Tanjiro was looking at the battle with wide open eyes, he looked back at Kyojuro, who was staring as well, looking at both the men fighting while keeping his hand ready on the tsuka of his katana âwhy isnât Rengoku-san helping him?â
âThat superb speed of yours sure is something! Those breathtaking sword forms will be lost too when you die Y/n!â Akaza was blocking every stab, every slash of the Katana while Y/n concentrated on trying to cut his head.
âDoesnât that make you sad? Losing your own breathing style and strength due to ageing!â
âMaybe in a few years, right now Iâm grateful for being able to use it against you!â
Inosuke had arrived âWHY ISNâT THE OWL MAN HELPING THE FOX? WE SHOULD HELP THEM!â Tanjiro began to stand up and Kyojuro began to unsheathe his sword.
âSTAY WHERE YOU ARE, DONâT EVEN THINK OF COMING HERE, YOUâLL ALL DIE IF YOU TRY TO BATTLE HIM!â Y/n shouted as he continued to stab and cut Akaza, getting hit in the process but not even flinching at the pain.
âCOME ON Y/N, GIVE ME YOUR BEST SHOT!â Y/n kicked Akaza while supporting himself on his sword âshit, my broken ribs are not helpingâÂ
âConcentrate on me right now, or else I will kill that hashira and the rest of the slay-â âYou wonât harm any of them while Iâm alive, AkazaâÂ
âBlood breathing:Fifth Form: Annihilation Typhoonâ The sheer force of the attack propelled Akaza into the forest with great force.
Kyojuro looked back at Y/n, his face hadnât changed, still cold and black while he waited for the demon to retur- âwhatâs that?â on the hunterâs cheeks rested marks, resembling the ones a kitsune would have when turning into a human âthat wasnât there earlierâŠâ
Y/n dashed into the forest and the slayers lost track of him, until a large crater formed onto the side of the rails âL/N-SAN!â Tanjiro shouted while he tried to go towards the hunter âStay Gompanchiro, if you go there, the man with the stripes is sure to murder you!â Inosuke grabbed him, he had sensed something was wrong with both the demon and hunter, something was off about those two and he couldnât even pinpoint what it was, it made the hairs on his neck stand up, they were scary.
Y/n stood up and breathed in while looking at the forest âshit, he hit me hard on the ribsâŠâ Akaza walked up to the hunter and stood his ground âBecome a demon Y/n, we can fight and get stronger for all of eternity, you are perfect!â
âI already told you, Iâll pass the offer, I donât plan to be a servant for Kibutsuji even if I get to live longer!â Y/n laughed at Akaza âFighting with you is certainly fun! But fun things get boring if you do them too often!â
âBlood breathing:Third Form: Withering Blossomâ Y/n ran towards the demon and jumped when Akaza tried to hit him on the chest, the hunter got his sword almost in Akazaâs neck when he was kicked away.
Y/n fell close to Kyojuro, his breathing becoming heavier, blood fell from his mouth.
Supporting himself with his katana Y/n stood up and made his way back to the demon.
âYOU ALMOST HAD IT THERE! BUT YOU STILL DONâT GET IT, YOU WILL GET MORE TIRED AFTER EVERY ATTACK, YOU WILL DIE BEFORE YOU CAN CUT MY NECK!â
Akaza punched Y/n on the face, cutting him right above the eye, while he tried to get close to attack again âThe sunrise is close, I only have to hold him up till then!â Y/n dove under Akazaâs fists.
âBlood breathing:Sixth Form: Crimson Waltzâ He began to stab Akaza on various points, Including the back of his neck and legs, âthat will make him slower for a bit, I need to cut his head off!â
âToo slowâ Akaza had punched him in the abdomen again, making Y/n stumble back.
âYou should defend your chest, your limbs are quick and you leave no opening to hit you in the head but, your ribs are exposed, I already broke 5!â
âThank you for the advice! Blood breathing:First Form: Scarlet Slash!â Y/n managed to lodge his swords on Akazaâs neck and began to push it.
âDisorder!â Akaza backed off while the punches began to go towards Y/n âBlood breathing:Seventh Form: Blood Frenzy!â Every slash of the Katana began to destroy the technique and allowed Y/n to get close to Akaza, cutting both of his arms off.
âYou look like a fox right now, those marks on your face werenât there, were they?â Akaza looked at Y/n with fascination, the hunter had blood on his lips and chin, internal bleeding making it hard to breathe âDonât die on me, little fox!â
âEvery stab and slash that you have made on me is disappearing already, but what about you?â Y/n fell onto his knees.
Tanjiro was shocked âEven talented people like him have a difficult time battling an upper moon, will I ever reach that level?...â
Akaza turned his head while watching him âYou have more than 10 ribs broken, the muscles on your left leg are torn to shreds, your left arm is sprained, you are bleeding internally, all of that is irreparableâ
The slayers skipped a heartbeat, how was Y/n able to fight in those conditions? He was standing there, protecting them while battling an upper moon.
âBecome a demon and you will heal in the blink of an eye, those injuries will be less than scratches, fight me all that you can, but you will never beat me, you will fail to protect the hashira and the kids.â His words were laced with venom.
The hunter used his sword as support to stand, âyour offer is interesting but, I was sent here on a mission, this was fun, but I have to protect themâ
âYou donât get it right? I promised to someone I care that I would protect them, I donât even knew any of them before this nightâ Y/n coughed blood while he looked at the demon
âIâd rather commit seppuku than letting any of them die, AkazaâÂ
Y/n looked at the demon while pointing his sword at him, he smiled and shouted
âI WONâT BREAK MY OATH! NOT A SINGLE PERSON WILL DIE ON MY WATCH!â
âSunrise is close, I have to pin him so he can die or hurt him enough so he will retreatâŠâ
Akaza saw how Y/n fighting spirited flared up, it looked like blood was floating from his body, an immense aura surrounded him, something about it felt familiar, an aura that told him to shut up and submit to someone, similar to him when he called his name.
âLetâs see what you have, Y/n!â Akaza stood his ground and prepared his next attack. âYOU ARE PERFECT FOR IT, BECOME A DEMON AND WE WILL FIGHT EACH OTHER FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY!â
âIf I manage to land this, I will most likely die but Kyojuro or the sun will be able to finish himâ
âYOU WONâT HURT ANYONE HERE, I WILL KILL YOU BEFORE YOU DO!â
âDESTRUCTIVE DEATH: ANNIHILATION TYPE!â
âBLOOD BREATHING: EIGHT FORM: ABYSSAL OUTBURST!â
Y/n Dashed past the ground and ran towards Akaza, while the demon opened his palms to receive the attack.
Everything went white.
RENGOKUâS POV
They moved so fast, it was like thunder struck the earth and blinded me. The next moment I could see Y/n stab the demon on the head and release his sword, an explosion like nothing I had ever been engulfed both of them.
3rd PERSON POV
No one could hear anything, it was like earth had stopped moving for a second, dust began to dissipate as it uncovered the scene.
âY/n-sa-â Tanjiro swallowed air and covered his mouth.
Y/n was being grabbed from the neck, not moving while Akaza was regenerating what was left of his head, it was gruesome to see, half a cranium regenerating while the body of Y/n was on his arm.
âYOU ARE A CHEATER, USING POISON TO ATTACK IS NOTHING BUT A LOW LIFEâS TECHNIQUE! YOU DONâT DESERVE TO BECOME A DEMON WITH THOSE COWARDLY TECHNIQUES!â
They could see how on Y/nâs hand was the broken piece of the tsuka, he was holding it tightly.
âESOTERIC FORM: NINTH FORM: RENGOKU!â
Kyojuro dived in front of Akaza while he was still regenerating, with incredible force he stabbed him on the abdomen, just to adjust his katana and cut him upwards.
âWHAT HAPPENED?â Inosuke stared at the scene while Tanjiro tried to stand up
Rengoku had managed to make Akaza release Y/n while he kept pushing his katana to cut the demonâs neck, focusing on that
Akaza was about to punch him through the solar plexus when a hand grabbed him into place
âYou wonât kill him.â Y/n was grabbing Akaza with all of his force, he had a broken arm, leg and most of his ribs, but still had the force to hold the demon into place.
âNOW GO, HELP US TO CUT HIS HEAD, SUNRISE IS NEAR!â Y/n looked at Tanjiro as he ran towards them, Inosuke grabbed both of his swords and began to sprint.
âGET OUT OF MY WAY, LET GO!â Akaza was trying to stop Kyojuro and Y/n at the same time, Y/n holding him in place and Kyojuro pushing his sword in his neck.
But it wasnât enough, Akaza cut his arm off and tried to punch Kyojuro, Y/n dove in front of him and took the hit on his spine.
âRUN AWAY, YOU HAVE TO RUNâ Akaza dove into the forest to escape sunlight while Tanjiro chased soon after, his feet were slow, his whole body was slow âTHAT DAMN POISON, I HAVE TO FIND COVERâ
Tanjiro threw his sword at him, it pierced him right through the heart âDONâT RUN, DONâT RUN AWAY YOU COWARD!â
âWhat the hell is this kid talking about?I'm not running away from you, Iâm running away from the sun. The battle is already over, that damned man will die from blood loss or the attack on his spine!â
Tanjiro continued to shout at the demon âWE FIGHT YOU WHERE YOU HAVE ADVANTAGE, OUR WOUNDS DONâT CLOSE UP EASILY, WE CANNOT REGENERATE A LIMB ONCE WE LOSE IT, DONâT RUN AWAY YOU BASTARD, COWARD! L/N IS WAY MORE AMAZING THAN YOU, SO IS RENGOKU!, THEY DIDNâT LOSE, L/N DIDNâT LET ANYONE DIE, HE FOUGHT TO THE END, HE PROTECTED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US, YOU LOST, L/N AND RENGOKU WON!â
Inosuke was staring at Tanjiro while he cried, Kyojuro stared at him while holding Y/n on his arms, the man was closing his eyes, blood was coming from his mouth, his clothes were covered in blood, a broken arm and leg and the blood was rushing out of his body.
There was too much blood.
âListen Y/n, you cannot close your eyes! You heard what the young Kamado said, you won! Breathe while help arrives!â Kyojuro rested Y/n on the ground and looked at Tanjiro
âStop yelling, Youâll reopen that wound, Youâre badly injured too, remember?, if you die, it would mean that Y/n is the loserâ Kyojuro began to rip his own uniform to stop the bleeding in the worst areas.
âNow come here and help me with him, we need to stop his bleeding and stabilise him while the kakushi arrive, you as well Boar boyâ
Tanjiro rushed to the the hashiraâs side while Inosuke looked for cloth to stop the bleeding, Rengoku was trying to see what was damaged and alleviate the pain in those areas âDonât die now, I still owe you that meal I promisedâ
Y/nâs POV
They are alive, none of them are badly injured.
Miroku is most likely watching somewhere,
he will tell Heika-sama about the upper moon
Did I succeed in my mission, Heika-sama?
hi hi! could you do General Yandere hcs of Muichiro with a male! reader? Bonus points if the male! Reader is also a Hashira! :3
Omg yesss!
You were a Sound Hashira. In fact, you were Tengen's little brother. You hated the fact that he always tried to force his lifestyle onto you, trying you to be âFlashyâ and get a bunch of girlfriends to turn into your wives.
He hated that you were selectively mute, (It was because when you were a kid, you accidentally made a noise and got a friend killed), and he hated that you weren't like him.
Muichiro fell for you when you death glared your brother after he bothered Muichiro. No one had helped Muichiro when Tengen had bothered him before.
Muichiro would love everything about you, your quietness, your dislike of your brother, and how you clung to Muichiro after you two became friends over your mutual distain of your brother.
When you get into a big fight with your brother and go out to hunt some demons, he wasn't worried. Not until some people brought you back, barely breathing.
Your brother started panicking himself, blaming himself on your possible death. He didn't want to loose anyone else.
Muichiro quickly kidnapped you after you woke up, bringing you to his place. He didn't lock you up, except for the fact you can't leave the estate walls.
When you realize why he took you, you'd speak to him for the first time. He'd adore your voice, asking you to start talking him to sleep.
When you explain that you don't even speak to your brother, he'd get so happy. A smile would cross his face, one that seemed to be more genuine than ever.
Your brother would search everywhere for you, not being able to find you, he'd ask Muichiro.
When Muichiro answers that he has no idea, Tengen would freak out. He would break into Muichiro's place.
Seeing you there, happy and making Muichiro dinner, in his clothes, Tengen would start screaming, telling you that Muichiro manipulated you, that you need girlfriends, not one boyfriend, etc.
When Muichiro gets there he'd attack Tengen, giving Tengen no option except to leave and go seek medical help.
If Muichiro ever let you out and guys started hitting on you, well, no one would see them again. Obviously, he wouldn't kill in front of you, out of courtesy.
But, you'd be Muichiro's adorable house husband, he wouldn't let you go back to being a demon slayer.
âDarling, come on, why don't we go shopping together. Don't even think about escaping, though..â
True words, true words indeed
okkk I'm just askinggg why do ppl who strictly use she/her get so mad when males make xmale reader ffcs....LIKE YOU HAVE YOUR OWN WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING!!!
"Oh theres not enough female fics, and blah blah blah."
OK so if you follow my blog, (which is not much like at all-) you know that I go by they/him will read both mxm and mxn.b
I've seen this shit before like when females decide NOT to follow the rules of she/her she/they WOMAN DNI and just continue to read it like they don't check.
And then they start to ask why they get Blocked like hmmm I didn't follow the rules of someones post why did I get blocked??
So dude just follow ppls rules so we can avoid drama, if you wanna read it you have to be the right gender then, read whats for you, cuz if you dont specify the gender for sure so many females will pop up.
ALSO STOP PUTTING TITTIES OR PUSSY FOR GN SHIT.
Like they may either be afab or amab but not all ppl are happy to see the words princess, queen, or baby girl when it says gn.
PUT THE RIGHT GENDER OR PUT AFAB GN ITS NOT THAT HARD TO FIX YOUR DAMN TAGS!!!

Kyojuro Rengoku x male reader smut? Kyojuro gets like a fixation on breeding his boyfriend even though it's not biologically possible?
Kyojuro Rengoku x male reader breeding imagined ~
Imagine Rengoku being all pent up from missions, his body always strained and under pressure but his favorite way to relieve that pressure is by a nice breeding arch with his boyfriend! Heâs totally convinced that if he breeds your little hole enough and gives it all the cum it can take that youâd get all knocked up! And the thought of your belly all round from his seed makes him wanna breed you all over again.
Imagine Rengoku who holds your hips right against his groin for a whole minute every time he cumâs inside you to ensure his seed âtakes rootâ inside you.
Imagine Rengoku who holds you in a mating press for hours in hopes heâll impregnate you, cum oozing out of you with every pump of his cock as your ass squelches all stiffens and gaping around his cock as he presses your legs to your chest going absolute feral of top of you, him being the flame hashira having nice stamina not minding as he pushes orgasm after orgasm inside you only stopping if you canât take it or he runs dry
Imagine Rengoku who is so delusional and obsessed with knocking you up he gets worried somethingâs wrong with him when you donât get knocked up because despite you being a man heâs convinced of you get stuffed enough youâll eventually conceive a child.
Imagine Rengoku who comes home from his missions day dreaming already wanting to be back inside you again wanting to fill your hole up with his cum, youâve been fucked in every place and position in the flame estate.
Imagine when Rengoku is alone on a mission his cock all hard in his pants angrily nudging against them all pent up needing release as he reaches his hand down not wanting to touch himself not wanting to waste any cum unless itâs going somewhere on or inside of you, whether itâs on your face and chest or in your ass he only wants to use his seed on your body.
