Tam and Linh did not switch personalities. Personally, I think they are both just sticking to their philosophies about people. When Tam and Linh went to Exilium, they both got different things from that experience. Linh learned that if people hurt you once, they’ll hurt you again. But she still gives people one chance. Tam learned to never trust anyone, so he always wants to check peoples shadowvapor, to comfort him. This isn’t criticizing Tam, as I imagine it would be difficult to trust anyone after the people that are supposed to love you, don’t. Tam has his own reasons to trust Rayni, probably from his neverseen experience. From Linh’s perspective, Rayni hurt Tam. According to her, Glimmer got one chance and failed. Someone who’s been through what she has isn’t trusting Rayni. I think it made perfect sense for both of their characters.
