Day would have been so head over heels in love with Mork already had he been able to see the way Mork looked at him.

He is missing pivotal information because the sense that he's been relying on most does not work for him anymore.

He cannot see Mork both literally and figuratively yet because he's still mostly focused inward and backward. He will get there but he needs time to adjust his senses.

However, he will break Mork's heart and shatter all of his defenses on his road to him.

I haven't got a job. Why not? I think they only want clean people. They haven't taken that thing off yet? It's gone. But I guess some people still see it.

รุ้ง /rung/ is a rainbow, the entire spectrum of light, all of the colors. Rung is the name of Mork's sister. So what he says here, could also be read as:

"If Rung was here too, that would be nice."

You know how rainbows are formed? Light refracts in airborne water droplets. And you know what is made of such water droplets and can thus create a rainbow? หมอก /maawk/ - mist, fog, Mork.

It's not just Day who realized that he can still experience the world in all its beauty. I think Mork also realized that what matters is in your heart. Because he'll always carry Rung with him, wherever he goes.

Rung is all around them.

i cannot explain how much i love mhok and porjai's relationship. they're great friends. they're great roommates. they get each other. they love each other. they're the same flavour of bitch. both their best friend was rung. only they understand just how much rung meant to each of them and to each other. rung was their family. they are each others' family. they like the same family. they're going to be some flavour of in laws. they're every sort of family (adopted, found, bickering siblings, communally raising a child, in laws) except for romantic. and also exes.
