The Lioness
Run like the wind,
Run with the wind.
Coax the wind
And
Tease the wind.
Laughing with delight she ran,
Joy rebounding from the mountains.
The lions chased her, and she
Did become the lion.
In leaps and bounds she travels,
The distance ripping the chains from her heart.
She soars and flies through skies above,
Weaving through waterfalls and racing up cliff faces.
The mountains she meets, the Earth herself she greets.
And the silence echoes
When she is gone.
