One platter down, two more to go!  (Technically they’re on the second platter now; the first one went bad before Tessa could get the last sandwich.  But we can afford to lose a sandwich or two, I think.)

As always, pillow fights are the ultimate expression of love. 

Tessa really loves Scooter, even if he does pee on the floor.

Lisa: So, I wanted to run something by you. The hospital is hosting a big fundraising dinner at a fancy hotel downtown.  I have an invitation and I’d love to go, but I wanted to make sure you were all right with it.  It would mean leaving Tess here with a babysitter, and probably getting new clothes...

Checo:  If you want to go, we can go. When is it?

Lisa:  Saturday night.  

In order to earn a bit of money so his wife could go out and get a super fancy dress, Checo went to open the furniture store for the day.  He managed to do quite well, even if he did seem to prefer the hard sell to the dazzle. (If you can’t read any of the text there, the store is at level 5.)

Tessa is so excited about her continued good grades that she stood outside and yelled until Lisa came out to celebrate with her. 

Checo ran the idea of his and Lisa’s going to the hospital party by Tessa.  She was okay with it, so long as Daddy practiced his dancing with her first. Checo lovingly obliged.

Lisa looks so thrilled to be promoted.  Maybe she’s worried about the longer hours or the increased difficulty of the position.

Tessa’s hard day of work at school means she’s gotta find ways to have fun. No parents in the room?  Jump on the couch!

Tessa’s other favorite way to have fun is spending time with her parents, especially Dad. 

Tessa wanted to catch fireflies and it ended up looking so pretty!

We are getting so close to 20 grilled cheese sandwiches! 

Tessa is feeling the effects of the grilled cheese too.  She doesn’t seem to mind too much. 

On Saturday, Lisa had to work, so Checo took Tessa and Scooter out to the park for a little outing.  Tessa made a new friend and had fun playing in the sprinkler.  Scooter also made a couple of new friends.  (Don’t tell Tara’s cats she was fraternizing with a canine!) Checo spent a bit of time catching up with Denise Jacquet (who is still breaking my heart by randomly bursting into tears on community lots).  

Back home, Tessa made another little friend.  Little Rosalie has lovely purple eyes and a fascination with aliens. I like her!

I think Checo has done the most grilled cheese eating this round.  It’s getting to him, just a little bit...

After work, Lisa went out to get a new gown for the hospital fundraiser ball.  (Cutting it a bit close, but she found the perfect dress.)

Can we take a minute to appreciate how gorgeous she is? 

The fundraiser was held at Sim City Tower (formerly Hans’ Trap Door Co.) Lisa and Checo went in style.  Looking good, guys!
