About the cats:
"Ash, She/Her, Swift Cluster; Ash is one of the founding members of the three clusters. She first came to Spring Cluster with her mate Strike. Strike had found her half dead with a badger looking over her, and he saved her, though not without gaining a notable scar on his face. Strike tried his best to keep Ash stable, but he wasn't knowledgeable about herbs or medicine, so an infection had started to grow in Ash. Soon a Spring Cluster hunting patrol found them, and offered them medicine. Strike was very defensive at first but eventually caved. Ash and Strike were brought to camp to be treated for both of their injuries. It took a while, but Ash and Strike eventually recovered, but not without major scars. It didn't take long for Ash to become pregnant with Strike's kits. Strike was very, extremely protective of Ash while she was pregnant and while the kits were young. He'd only let Moon (the healer) in to check on Ash and the kits. Though it's kind of hard to isolate a cat in a camp full of cats. Ash became close with Moon, Lucky, Sunny, and Stubby. Strike wasn't a fan of Stubby though, as the tom was rather grumpy and aggressive, so during her time in Spring Cluster, she only knew of him as a friend's mate(Sunny's). After a scandal with the leader's mate, in which he was exiled for a heinous crime, the camp was filled with unrest. Some cats thought that the tom should have been killed instead of exiled. One of the cats that thought this was Strike. A group of cats staged a coup and attacked the leader and those that defended her. They were soon stopped and surrounded. They were told to leave. Strike was among the attackers.and he told his mate to leave with him. Ash was terrified. She owed this cat her life, how could she say no? Some of her kits were going with him, maybe if she went too they'd all go and be a happy family? But... He had just attacked the leader... That attack led to her death! "No..." Strike was dumbfounded. "What?" "No." Ash repeated, louder. Strike was enraged by this. Who did she think she was? She is his MATE. He saved her LIFE. Strike launched himself at Ash, who sat, frozen in fear. Stubby tackled Strike, throwing off his attack, while Moon went to comfort Ash. Ring and Lucky tore Strike and Stubby from each other. Strike was told to leave. And so he did, saying the Ash was no longer his mate. Not long after the traitors, Frost Cluster, had left, a group of cats approached the new leader and said that they were, respectfully, leaving to the moors. Among this group was Ash and Stubby. They helped to found the Swift Cluster. Everytime Ash saw Strike from across the border, or when the Clusters would gather, was a bad experience. But Stubby and her friends from Spring Cluster helped her get over her ex mate. Ash and Stubby grew closer, and eventually had two litters of their own. Unfortunately Ash only survived to see one. Ash was killed by the strain of her second litter. She had had big litters before, and one more was too much for her to handle. The time between when she first joined Swift Cluster and her death was the happiest time of her life. She had a loving mate, and her kits, both from her second litter and some from her first litter. She died happy, and she watches over her mate and kits from the stars."

she spent her kithood in thunderclan and was pressured to train earlier and way harder than the other apprentices beacuse he was unusually healthy and strong(the story takes place in a future where the clans are slowly dying out due to their own pride and unwillingnes to change, and bc of the lack of food and also propably incest most kits are born weak and sick). he was told her parents were rouges who abandoned him and TC took him in, so she has to pay for their compassion by protecting the clan with her life. Another clan attacks and Tortie has to flee w/ the TC leadera kits in tow, hides in a car... and the car rides off to the city. So now this teenager with loads of religious trauma and anxiety has to raised two kids in an unpredictable strange new environment and discover that Maybe Clans Arent All That Perfect! found family and shenanigans ensue, and Tortie realises that there are many diffrent ways of living a happy life!"
