The sickening

:) -> Guess what? I'm writing again! I know you probably don't care but I had a very difficult year + I was failing 3 classes (I still am but with the stress of the finals writing really helps me) but here we are. I'm finishing the requests I hadn't done yet and then I'm going to upload a (fairly great) fic about Jann, so here you have this one. Also this fic is set in the 90s when the boys were still alive. And also this fic is heavily inspired by my bf who got sick when we went to Paris and I had to take care of him.

DISCLAIMERS AND WARNINGS: English is not my first language, mentions of sickness, apart from that everything very family friendly.

Summary -> Y/n is the most lively person around Sunset Curve. Luke's girlfriend is funny, bubbly and a bit childish, and they all cherish that and protect her at all costs, specially her boyfriend. So, when she gets sick, Luke does everything he can to make her feel as herself as soon as possible.

Y/n was the light that shined over Luke all day, every day. He loved her inmensely and couldn't imagine his life without her, and the same went for Alex and Reggie, who adored the girl like a sister. She always baked for them, which was also a very big point in her favour.

They protected her at all costs, but that dind't avoid some things like getting sick. Thankfully, Y/n wasn't a person who got sick often. But when she did, it hit her like a truck. That is what happened this time. She hadn't felt bad the days before, so she thought that the mild fever whe was experiencing wasn't anything to worry about. But that fever escalated and soon she couldn't retain any food inside of her.

She was miserable not being able to eat or even stand up for a lot of time without getting dizzy and wanting to throw up. However, Luke was probably the one who was having a worse time than her. Watching her suffer so much was killing him, knowing he couldn't do anything to help her or make her feel more like herself again. So he just stroked her hand and her hair and accompanied her to the bathroom to, literally, let everything out. He was by her side 24/7, only leaving when her mother called worried about his whereabouts.

One of the worst nights, when she hadn't eaten anything for 4 days and so weak she couldn't walk on her own and had to support herself on Luke to be ale to get up or go to the bathroom, the brunette decided he couldn't just stand there with a wet towel over her forehead. He had to at least try to do something. So he caressed her skin as he had done all those other nights and sang to her. He also talked to her about everything happy he could think about, or thing he knew she liked. He thought that it hadn't change anything, but when he saw you smile he realized it had helped to cheer you up a little. And he considered that to be the biggest achievement of his life.

You were his biggest achievement.
