All day. Percy had been trying all day to understand why Luke was in such a mood. Chris, Annabeth and him were determined to figure out why he was spreading such a negative vibe everywhere he went. Currently, chris, luke and percy were sat around the lunch table, talking quietly. Well…only chris and percy were talking whilst luke stared blankly down at his meal. “So… are you gonna eat those donuts?” Percy hesitantly gestured to luke’s two untouched treats. All he received was a glare and a low grumble, before luke placed one of his sugar coated donuts on the younger boy’s plate. “Thanks.” Percy grins and takes a huge bite into it almost immediately.
About half an hour had passed and the air at the lunch table was still awfully thick until a sweet voice rang out. “Hey, boys!” The voice said as it neared the table. Almost like he was snapped out of a spell, luke’s face immediately lit up as his ears picked up the familiar voice. Y/N slid herself onto the bench next to him and a wide smile tugged at his lips. “Hi, Y/N.” He grins and in return gets a soft peck on the cheek. The two immerse into a conversation about their days with luke acting as happy as a daisy. Across from them, percy and chris share a baffled look while their eyes dart between the two. It doesn’t take long for Y/N to notice their stares as she tilts her head in confusion. “What?” She raises a brow at them. “Luke, you’re whipped.” chris smirks at him knowingly. This earns him a glare and a scoff. “Do you mind, I’m talking to my girl.” He practically growls. Percy’s ears perk up and he holds back a chuckle “Chill, dude, she’s all yours.” He raises his hands in mock defence. Luke rolls his eyes and leans over, snatching the half eaten donut off of the boy’s plate and placing it on Y/N’s. “For you, my love.” He says softly with a smitten smile. “Thanks, luke.”
