lyney’s assistant and twin sister never thought she’d fall in love, not when she already has so much on her plate. you were a rush of blood to the head, an adrenaline rush caused by something as simple as meeting your eye. lynette felt as if she were walking a tightrope every time she talked to you, one wrong move and she’d be revealing her affiliations with the fatui. her love was a dangerous one in every way that could be. if you ever found out, she might not be able to let you live at all. ultimately, it was a thin line between life and death.
such pointless doubts only served to hurt and waste the time you shared. the pain of her being alone and unable to tell the truth only hurt because it was invisible to the outside eye. maybe she’d begin avoiding you for her own sake, but even the smallest and most mundane things would remind her of you. lynette couldn’t help but gravitate back towards you, wishing she didn’t love you as much as she did. past friends had always left once they found her connections to the fatui, often with hurtful words that still stung when she thought about it now. her lifeless purple eyes held a melancholy whenever she talked to you, wanting only to tell you the truth. then you’d either love her still or leave her, instead of leaving her in a form of purgatory in which she didn’t understand how you truly felt.
the day she told you, she was taken off guard by the way you still loved her. it didn’t matter to you, you just loved lynette because she was herself.

she’s the kind of person to make tea or coffee for you when you get home after a long day, snuggling into your side or allowing you to lay your head on her lap while she listens to you talk
alternately, if you’re more of a quiet type, then the both of you can sit comfortably in silence and just rest together
on late nights when you just can’t sleep, your amazing cat girlfriend will run a hot bath for you and gently scrub your hair until you get sleepy
she really just loves you for you, no matter your body type or gender! if you don’t love yourself, then she’ll just love you twice as much!
lynette has memorized your favorite foods, drinks, etc just for the sake of making you smile!
