"well, if you pay attention, you'd see that miss barbie roberts is actually an assassin, and here's my evidence," he opens a thick notebook filled with writing and pictures.
"You look stressed." He says, looking at the red head with a small frown. This wouldn't do. "Have you considered coming to the Cathedral? Visiting might do you some good. It'll be quiet. Give you time to yourself" And then he's smiling, arching a brow. "Besides. I'll be there late tonight myself. It's my turn for the confessional booth. Your... the ragnvindr heir looks up from putting away clean glasses, surprise scattering his features as he hadn't thought that his exhaustion is that obvious. the invitation is incredibly enticing, especially with the notion of olivine being there afterhours. he doesn't need many hints to know what the priest is getting at.
a soft blush begins to take the redhead's cheeks, and he clears his throat. he picks up the dishtowel, but there's a small smile tugging at his lips.
"well... if my company is desired, who am i to deny?"
diluc practically beams. "wonderful."
he opens to the first page, which holds a list of barbie's careers.
"now, if you think about it, barbie is a rather young woman. her feats are impressive and admirable, and is justifiably idolized by many young people, especially women, all around the world. the thing is, some of these careers require multiple years in higher education, and even a separate education system, such as a doctor or an officer.
while it's possible she could have studied for some of these at the same time, even she can't have all the time in the world given she's also a global icon who has to dedicate her time and energy to other matters."
he flips pages, "which brings me to this conclusion. what if she was an assassin, and what if half of these careers are covers? you wouldn't possibly assume a veterinarian, a teacher or a fashion designer would be some sort of assassin. not to mention, i believe it was rumored years back that she also was a spy."

it had been a long time since he had gone out for leisure , and it was certainly even longer that he had gone out with olivine due to their busy schedules . an event was coming up hosted by the cathedral , and of course , olivine was a part of it . as such , he invited diluc .
the redhead hummed , taking olivine's hand . " very well , i'll go . we haven't spent much time together in any case . it will be . . . fun . "
" well , i am certainly glad to hear that . what do you say we join adelinde for lunch and spend the day doing something before the event starts ? " he proposed , scarlet hues soft and adoring . it was always a joy to spend time with olivine , diluc was always interested in hearing what he had to say .
