Fanart of my favorite band, The Amazing Devil :) I don't usually draw real people so I hope I did them justice lol

I'm not so great at painting. I never quite know what I'm doing, but I don't mind this one.
Lyrics from Ruin album that sums up my life almost perfectly it kinda scared me:

hey tad fans i’m so curious…is there a single song of theirs that you listened to, first time around, and were like ‘oh, yeah, this is the band for me’ or something on those lines where it just hit you.
for me it was two minutes - i listened to it, cried, and then was absolutely whipped for them forever. but i feel like it could have been any of them, so…idk i think that the first song that you get drawn in by says something…
i've never felt as seen as i did when joey batey said "i try and write songs that sad people can listen to at train stations"
when the amazing devil said "I'm the papercut that kills you and the priest that you ignored, i'm the touch you crave and the plans that you made, but fuck all your plans, i'm bored" and when they said "you are the son of every dressing up box, and i am time itself" and when they said "i'm the cupid of things that you just didn't get, that you struggled to say, i'm the saint of the paint that was left in the pot, i'm your angel ellipsis, your devil of dots" and when they said "i'm the heartbreak that aches far too much to be shunned, all those letters unsent, and that garden ungrown, i'm the captain of courage that you've eternally lacked, i'm the Jesus of wishing to Christ you'll come back" and when they said "i'm the face that stares back when the screen goes to black, when your mum says you look healthy but you know she means you got fat, i'm the tales that the guests will applaud and believe, i'm the child that you just didnt have time to concieve"
and literally every single time they've identified themselves as abstract concepts or the most tragic parts of everyday life. i really felt that.
I love how the amazing devil writes these incredibly beautiful and complex lyrics that make you cry but then also have lines like
"Yeah we thought you were mental YOU WERE TALKING TO TREES"
And "could be ghosts or monsters or a robot vampire- i dont know!"

This is a faerily reminder that Joey Batey (aka Jaskier in The Witcher series) has a powerful alt-folk band called The Amazing Devil with Madeleine Hyland, one of the most beautiful voices out there. Their lyrics and music are simply magical and breathtaking.
