I guess this is my peak design for them
Melkor is now fully in his "awfully long twink" era
and Mairon still has the most uncomfortable look

I finally finished this piece. I changed the hair and the eyebrows from my last post... And I feel like I need to improve my coloring skills.
A while ago I drew Mairon and since then I’ve had multiple attempts to redraw this. I thought this was pretty good.
I have one joy and that is drawing Mairon over and over again.
Had to go back to my roots at some point :)))
An idea that I really like is that Mairon was just… fucking horny all the time. Just makes sense.
Betraying the Valar? Meh. Hot Melkor to boss around? Oh yesssss
Concealing your power to pass as an elf? Meh. Very hot descendent of very hot Fëanor looking at you with admiration? Oh yesssss
Imprisoning some random elves and a man? Meh. Very hot Blondie™ at your mercy? Oh yesssssss
Pretending to care about Númenorians to fool them into worshipping Morgoth? Meh. A king on his knees for you? Oh yesssssss
