RAMBLING TIME
So... I've been thinking for a while and even if I don't support AK's actions, I still love the series. So I chose to keep going with my Dragon AU of TMC. Now it has a new name: Eyes of Mandela. For now, I'll talk about the lore and add some drawings.
So let's talk quickly about the entities.
Nekira the Endless Serpent (Gabriel): A forgotten draconian deity who got sealed after challenging God. He looks like a gigantic winged snake with several eyes on his body. He is so long that his body seems to never end...
Lurkers (Alternates): Reptile-like monsters. The very first Lurker was the last of Nekira's worshippers who got turned into a deadly monster by him before he got sealed. Lurkers have several abilities and the most noticeable one is to mimic sounds and voices to perfection, disorienting people. They can also emit low pitched noises that human ears can't pick up. However, those frequences affect the brain and someone who is exposed to them for too long ends up becoming insane. Those frequences can even affect electronics. Lurkers can turn a victim into another Lurker if they kill them with a bite.
The Hunter (Intruder): He was a dangerous criminal who got killed by the police. But he was brought back to life in the form of a hideous horned dog-like lizard. His goal ? Take human children to the Abyss (where Nekira is sealed) so they undergo a transformation into young Lurkers. He uses mostly the TV to create a virtual puppet thanks to a form of telekinesis in order to put the children under hypnosis. Then he takes them away without being seen because he can become invisible thanks to special scales that bend the light.
The Oracle (Preacher): She was Nekira's most loyal servant. So loyal and devoted that the Serpent turned her into a dragon as a blessing. She can communicate with him through her mind even after he got sealed. She can't speak human language and only uses an unknown tongue that is spoken by her, Nekira and the primordial Lurker (N). She possesses the same "light bending" scales like the Hunter and the same insanity-driving frequences like the Lurkers.
