(Day 2/? of catch up posting) I was really into analog horror at the beginning of the year so here is Mandela Catalogue Archangel Gabriel for y’all 👍🏻

I really REALLY want to see all the other characters reaction to this. Also Gabriel... are you sure these are the ones you want to deceive, cause Im pretty sure they would be into that. I mean I would.

Man I love sneaking French in my art, it’s like infecting you with M.A.D.
I’m kind of disappointed my original idea didn’t work out (the television screens behind Gabriel making his wings - I worded it wrongly but you get the idea), but I still like this version… it just makes less sense since he’s a deceiver, so he’s not really supposed to have pure white majestic real wings yk..
Also the background’s basic as usual so 😐…
I guess I’ll leave the original idea for another drawing

Why is he holding a pomegranate?
I know it might sound bizarre but I like to think the forbidden fruit is a pomegranate. To me, a sin is a sin when you know it’s one. Basically, if you know what you’re doing is wrong then boom it’s a sin. I’m not Christian but that what would make the most sense to me. Eating a pomegranate takes time and is usually a messy process - but you still eat it. Sins are pretty similar (to me). You know you’re doing something wrong but you keep pushing anyway.

I wanted to try this trend with Gabriel. If you guys have any tips pls comment, I feel like there are many ways I could improve with line art and shading
