Stein and Marie are that couple in which Marie thinks they’re in an undefined situationship and Stein is all but buying a wedding ring and this goes on for a solid 2 years where Marie is constantly wondering “What are we?????” and Stein is head over heels for her and one day she finally gets fed up and asks him when he’s finally gonna ask her to be his girlfriend and Stein looks really confused and says he thought they were already engaged and “Wait…did I forget to ask you???”
