This is Squiid! The Spooky Squiid!

Squiid is my Art Mascot - meant to represent me as a creator and my art account. I kinda wanted my mascot to resemble me in a way, so I put some personal touches in there.

The style I went for was a sort of Baggy Snuggie look. That just the stuff I love wearing the most.

Shoutout to my friend for helping inspire me with the Snuggie colors via a gift they made for me! My friend made the hoodie design at the end for me, and it helped me figure out the coloring for Squiid's Snuggie. Trust me, I was caught on it for the longest time.

A new look for Squiid! I liked the first look, but I wasn't feeling the Spooky in it enough. I'm definitely getting more Spooky in this new look. I used the Hero Forge website to come up with the costume design. This piece is a traced screenshot I took of my character I made on their website (with a couple of my own touches with the costume). I'm going to draw Squiid in my own style soon. This was more to get a feel of Squiid's new design. I did all of the color, though.

A full body reference for Squiid!

For those of you interested in hearing:

I did, once again, trace the model I made on Hero Forge, but this time I worked to make it in simpler, more singular, lines. I focused more on the direction and shape of one line that makes up part of the model. For example: the curve of the back lines of the cloak - each line is one single line that I practiced the feeling of making, then I connected them. This practice helps me better understand Squiid's make-up form. The better I understand their lines and shape-parts, the better I will become at drawing Squiid without the model.
