Day 13-14: Brown-capped Rosy Finch. Christmas Frigatebird
This is Leeloo the microraptor. She likes gentle rain, easy-to-catch meals and long walks on the beach. Though she may look intimidating, underneath those feathers, she has a big heart and just wants to be your friend. Drawn for improbablewanderer and based very loosely on the turkey vulture and a few different illustrations of the microraptor and its skeleton. Keep in mind that I drew this at 2 am - it is miles and miles away from perfect.

On this banner we have some of my favourite prehistoric animals:
Microraptor, Tanystropheus, Spinosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Confuciusornis, Sinosauropterix, Dreadnoughtus, Yi qi, tapejara and cryodrakon.
The last pride creatures! Im gonna be honest these ones were hard, the pan flag colours are “interesting”, the ace ones are only monochrome purple and greys, and do t get me started in my attempts to paint iridescence
