It's so much worse when it comes to romance. You think the previous was hard? You will never get him to say "I love you." Even if it's the most obvious thing in the world. You can go as far as you want, you can have him kissing you regularly, he just won't do it. Friends are hard to come by, and he doesn't want to lose his over an altered dynamic. So... you know.
