Ok I’m going to post this before I forget or the knuckles show release sometime this year
Context: I really hope wade winds up being Amy's guardian there’s so much potential. I can already see Wade being eager to prove himself as a dependable person similar to Tom in the first film. He would be the first to offer a home to Amy, thinking it would be a piece of cake and exciting to raise an alien like Tom. Then a week or month later he gets a reality check on how tough parenting really is while he doesn’t regret a thing.
Wade sobbed when Amy finally called him dad and you can’t tell me otherwise
I think Amy and Wade's dynamic would be completely different from how Tom is with the Wachowski bros. Wade isn’t always the brightest and he can be impulsive and reckless due to him wanting more action in his life. (For some reason a lot of fans forget these traits in fanwork whenever Wade is a guardian for shadow/sliver/amy. He usually made out to be more responsible but with self-doubt or anxiety). Amy can also be reckless, childish, and impulsive like wade (and sonic) but she would be the smarter of the two and more nurturing.
So I think they would mostly take care of each other and taking turns being responsible (while learning to be more responsible similar to Tom and Sonic). For example I can see Amy being the one responsible for cooking because Wade can’t cook even if his life depended on it (In my head cannon anyway).

Finished these chapter 11 doodles for @humanityinahandbag and @samthefrank ‘s amazing story Making Space, which you can read here! The drawing with Knuckles and Tails wasn’t technically a scene, but I couldn’t get the thought of them sick and worried while making missing brother flyers out of my head. Everyone needs to read this story, it’s seriously incredible.

Welcome to The Last of Us AU- This is the pre-prologue.. ish, thing… Basically, just to get ya up to speed on how we’re starting off. (I was supposed to post this a week ago, but I kept adding things and I got outta hand. But I did post it to my deviantart a couple days ago)
Tom and Sonic have gone on a crazy journey across the entire country- from Boston, MA all the way to Salt Lake City, UT- to get Sonic to the Guardians who are going to make a cure to the metal zombot virus using Sonic’s immunity. However, the procedure would kill him. Tom, unable to stand the idea of losing someone else important to him, makes the most difficult decision and saves Sonic. To keep it all together, Tom lies to Sonic about what happened. They both move to Jackson, WY- a town run by Rachel and Wade- where Tom is determined to help Sonic live a happy life.
Welcome to my trainwreck! Ive never written or made a full comic before so this is gonna be a first for me, but I’m having a good time with it so I’m telling myself that’s all that matters Lol
I’m aiming for one update per week with this. Emphasis on aiming! I might not hit it sometimes because school and such, but I’m going to try.
