All I ever wanted to be is just smart. But as it turned out, I'm not ENOUGH. I've always watched the others answering questions, as it was the easiest thing they've ever heard. While I just look in front of me with BLAME and HATE. For why my brain is completely EMPTY. all I ever did was try, try, try, but the others exams was still better mine 1 was never than really brave enough to say my way of thinking so i guess they just assumed don’t give a shit.

I don't understand why people, mainly Taylor, pretend not to see that Augustine knew about Betty.

I mean, how could she sing "cause it was never mine" if she didn't know that James was hanging out with another girlS in plural?????

It's obvious for me that she knew about Betty. Otherwise, Inez wouldn't have told Betty about what James was doing.

And let's be honest, here EVERYONE knows that James and Betty weren't "serious" mainly because in cardigan Betty says that he was eyeing other girls, that's why she probably talks about sensual politics and the hand under her sweater. It means that James wanted physical contact, and she probably didn't give him what he wanted, so he tried to find it somewhere else.

High heels are cited in cardigan, so it makes me think that Betty is talking about the prom night.
