Go to a fancy restaurant, order a bottle of wine, and see who the waiter/waitress gives that first/taste test pour to (bonus points if they also give the same person the bill)

I accidentally confessed I liked this guy after he confessed to me and now i’m regretting it. Do I like him? Sure?? But like I preferred how things were when we were just friends and I don’t know how to turn him down. We haven’t gone on any dates or anything yet but he’s changed how he acts. Is there anything I can do to let him down and still be friends with him? 🥲
