pinkie inspired by desserts/candy and decora kei fluttershy inspired by deer and her wings are based on sparrow wings rarity is based on crystals/gems and general "fashion-ness" applejack… idk i just like using those patterns on her. also apples rainbow dash is based on clouds, sky…. rainbows, and got some sporty kinda gear on her. her wings are based on falcon wings twilight is based on the night sky, stars, space (mostly space), and her wings are based on owl wings, specifically the patterns are a combination of tawny owl/great horned owl since owlowiscious is generally considered to be either of those
