A couple months ago @taylorfromthestars posted an idea for a Mudd animation with the song tippy tappy toes, and I just remembered that I actually made a little something with that idea. It’s old art, and barely an animation, but I still think it’s cute

Infinights Statues

(spoilers for all of the infinights campaign)

So in the chosen ones campaign they run into a statue of Kyborg, and I'd like to imagine all of the infinights got statues, and I was gonna draw them but I want that drawing to be prettier then my skill will allow so here's all my ideas about them

Kyborg's statue - this is the one we get in canon, so the one we know the most about. I can't remember if the statue was described with specific pose in canon, but if not I think it would have a bow drawn. I also think the right arm of the statue would be made out of metal, either metal that doesn't rust or it's enchanted in some way.

Bart’s statue - I imagine Bart’s staute would be in Tetora in some sort of town square. I don’t think we get a canon location for where he ended up living so this made the most sense. I think people would gather around the staute for some sort of music festival. The statue pose is him holding a lute, and at certain times of day, or maybe when the tide is in a certain state (cause pirate) there’s music that comes out of the statue.

Gum Gum’s statue - I think Gum Gum’s statue would be in the garden of the orchanage (how do you spell that??). Kids would leave flowers arond it, and flowers tend to grow around it. The staue pose is either him triumphantly holding his flower staff, or him with his arms open in a way that could be going in for a hug or doing cool magic. I also know I saw a post somewhere a bit ago about the people of Faeza hosting a flower festival for Gum Gum, and I feel like the statue would be important for that.

Mudd’s statue - The people of the Witherveins would’ve wanted Mudd’s statue to be in there, but I think Mudd would’ve wanted his statue in Ürbloom outside his cafe. His statue shows him holding a statue version of Gumbo, and animals tend to gather around the statue

Group statue - There would also be a statue of all of them in Boulderay, maybe outside Ahem Academy. There’s probably also one of those Brink magic stores nearby. The OG Infinights probably also have statues somewhere.

I drew this a bit ago, but surprisingly I don’t hate it yet

I do draw them slightly differently now, but I still use the same basic design

Another one of my old Infinights reference sheets, I drew this while trying to combat same face syndrome

I definitely draw them differently now, but this was the first time a group of characters that I drew looked truly distinct

Mudd's Mug!

My hc for this is that Mudd's mug is normal sized for him but absolutely massive for everyone else (except maybe Gum Gum). I think one of the others (probably Kyborg ngl) once sneak-drank some of Mudd's coffee from a normal mug, so Mudd spent an afternoon making this in a pottery workshop or smth.

I also goodled the aroace flag and some searches told me it was the one on the handle and I suddenly realised it matched Mudd's colours so perfectly I had to include it. He's our ace icon. I've also got the "I ♡ Gumbo" on the bottom of the handle because that badger means more to Mudd than like... most if not all people.

Instead of sugar cubes I've put in cubes of dirt, which you can squish and crumble into the coffee (I'm imaging the consistincy of an OXO cube). And there's already a sprinkling of dirt in the coffee as well.

Which Infinight should I do next??

this animation would’ve taken a whole lot less time if I hadn’t had to spend so long on timing, I ended up just giving up so the timing might be a bit weird

I wanted to make some kydron content cause I love all the kydron stuff, also I wanted to use this audio for something

Now with colour and some minor adjustments, I'm only on ep 60 so im sure these designs will change as I continue to listen, but for now I'm happy with how they all look. Might take a crack at Mr. Barkeep later.

Do camera phones even exist in Faeza? Idk but that dont matter. This pic has a place of honor in mudd's cafe/bookshop

I’m trying to make dolls of the infinites for fun and I was trying to plan out their outfits and how I think those would look if they were made out of actual fabric or whatever materials I have, this has lead to some head cannons that I’m probably going to post character by character, but to start I thought I’d start with Mudd.

• I feel like his clothes would be made out of light materials because he already has fur to keep him warm so the clothes would probably just be to cover him and protect his fur from stuff

• his cape would be really thick though, at least like a blanket but probably thicker and he might have a spell or something that he puts on it sometimes for when it gets to hot

• as a prince his shirts would probably always be clean but while traveling he would stain them all the time with dirt or coffee, and probably try to clean them but fail miserably since he didn’t ever learn as a prince and have to get Bart to show him how to clean them

• since he did say his parents sent him to do this internship in one of the early episodes( i think this changed later but I’m going off this for now) he would probably have really nice traveling clothes and the rest of his party would be surprised at how soft and nice the clothes were

• to add on to that I think he would be really surprised when he saw the rest of them wearing clothes that had been sewn up of had patches of fabric to cover big holes and would originally think it was kind of weird but eventually be fine with it and have Bart help him sew up some of his clothes that had been torn up

• I think he would really hate to have to chose new clothes and have a bunch of the exact same clothes that he wore unlike the others acept for the gemstones that hang from his shirt, even though those are are all purple I think he would all have them a different color and know what shirt he’s wearing by what color the gems are

This is partially takes from a headcanon I have for another character, but I feel like mudd would like doing a lot of chores. He might not like doing dishes, just because I feel like he would have sensory issues, but as a kid I think he would have had no opportunity to do that sort of stuff for himself, and as an adult he would enjoy being able to live life on his own and do things like sweep the floors, or clean up after Gumbo, or do laundry, just because I think it would give him a feeling of having control over his own life and also I think he would find the things that aren’t really smelly or dirty like sweeping calming.

Part 2 of my other thing, but I think that he would love gardening but hate pulling weeds even though he’s not that good at nature originally I think that would be something he trys to learn more about and he would definitely have a garden just to give him more control over his life and what he ate because I think him controlling as much of his life would be really important.

This is such a good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 2 : Intense Training/Sparring with friends

I didn't have the energy to write a whole thing about this so I drew it (with my meagre art talent - I'm aware its poor at best XD )

I wanted something really angsty but I didn't have enough time or energy to plan it properly.

Discription and an extra scene below (sparring with friends)!

What's happening here? :

1 - Bart hears grunting and what sounds like speach, coming from Kyborg's room. It sounds like he's training, but he's talking to himself as well.

2 - Inside, Kyborg has discarded his quiver after some target practice, and is now doing pull-ups on his bar. His hair is tied back into a ponytail, with two plaits running from his temples all the way through the ponytail (I told you, his hair gets in everything I do, its the law)

3 - Bart and Gum Gum have come to check on Kyborg. They push his door open to find him doing one-armed push ups, with his prosthetic arm to the side.

After this :

Bart, Gum Gum, Kyborg and Mudd all have a discussion about how training is very good but pushing yourself too much isn't.

B : you can always train with us y'know

K : I know, I just like to do it alone sometimes.

M : just don't push yourself too much, we still need you fully functioning mate,

GG : we can all do it together

K : you got it buddy,

A bit later Mudd and Kyborg are sat outside looking at the stars. Mudd is listening to the animals and Kyborg is absent-mindedly plaiting a small section of his hair.

M : *staring into the distance* you don't have to be training to have a moment alone.

K : I know...

M : we've all been through stuff, we get it.

K : Yeah, thanks.

M : you wanna go for a round around the ring tommrorow?

K : sure, just be ready to be absolutely throttled. You're facing Kyde- Kyborg the MIGHTY!

Mudd smiles a small smile as Kyborg jumps up and waves goodbye to him. Maybe he would get through one day.

So I may or may not write this at a later date, I kinda want to, but not rn. For now enjoy my shoddy art piece and half-thought out infinight dialogue! You're welcome ((:

Quick question, does Mudd shed like an animal would?? I mean he’s covered in fur, does he shed it?? Bonus question, does Chips tail wag when he’s happy??

I just wanna say that Modern AU Mudd DEFINITELY owns a van, and NO it doesn’t have unicorns, bright colors, and lasers spray painted on it, it has BADGERS, bright colors, and lasers spray painted on it.
